Services were great! I needed a small piece for my fireplace hearth. They walked the yard with me, telling me the pros and cons of the different rocks for my use case and had me pick out three different slabs that they then put on hold until they could verify measurements (the next business day). Had a great experience from start to finish. After checking the google reviews along with the A+ BBB rating we decided to give them a call for a quote. We are in Cypress and Granite Surfaces was down in Stafford, so they would not have been my first choice because of the distance. Our first contact was Chris Morris. We had a relatively small job, (Counter tops for the Master and 2nd bath about 30 sq. feet). He came out and said due to the smaller size of the count tops, we might want to consider using remnants of other granite jobs that were left over. This would save us a lot of money. We checked out the very large selection of remnants at Granite Surfaces. The installers were out within a couple of weeks. They were very professional and cleaned up the area as if they were not even there. Chris had made some recommendations based on the color scheme of our bathrooms. Chris was spot on with his recommendations. Following the installation of the granite, the look of our bathrooms exceeded our expectations at a much lower cost had we gone elsewhere. WOW, this company is amazing! I was rejected by a major home improvement store because my order was not large enough to cover their 25 sq ft minimum. This led to a feeling of disappointment because my wife had her heart set on a very specific type of stone that was showcased at the store. I was at a loss. So, like a good American, I googled and found Granite Surfaces of Texas. I submitted my inquiry and very quickly received a call back from Chris. He answered all my questions and we agreed that I should come in and pick a slab. When I arrived, meeting Chris was like meeting an old friend. I explained my dilemma, showed a picture of the stone that my wife had initially chosen, and asked if he had anything close. He said yes, I have that exact stone. We walked the yard, picked the slab, and made the deal. Chris sent out an artist to measure. I say artist because the walls enclosing the space are not perfectly square and is one inch wider in the back than the front. Also, the slab needed to be cut around door trim. I don’t know his name but I call him my Picasso because he cut a template out of cardboard that fit tighter than a frogs arse. The template was used to cut the slab and, like the cardboard template, the slab is perfect. The installers are extremely friendly and professional. They cut the hole for my faucet on site, mounted my sink, and installed the slab and 4” border in no time. The slab is perfect, the install is perfect, and my experience with Granite Surfaces of Texas was perfect! Bypass the big name stores and go directly to Chris! You will not be disappointed!

They also had high quality and great looking rectangular sinks on hand to install. The installers arrived in the window they provided and were very professional. I fell in love with Ocean Jasper Quartz at a local store and decided I wanted it for my bathroom counter, which is less than 20 sq feet total. I got three quotes for it, all were around $3600 for the countertop installed and plumbed. I was not willing to pay that much and I stumbled across Granite Surfaces of Texas, I was able to find the exact one that I wanted (Ocean Jasper) for $1600- installed, with brand new sinks, and fully plumbed in! The gentleman in the show room, Chris was very helpful and patient with me (and my one million questions) and the plumber that came out, Virgil, did a fantastic job was well. We will be doing our two guest bathrooms with Granite Surfaces later this spring. You will not find better customer service or pricing anywhere- believe me, I looked!

From the start... design engineer, Edgar, came to my house to measure current Formica kitchen countertops. He was very precise in measurements and ask questions about my ideas on exactly what I wanted. I ordered a vanity top made of quartz to fit a dresser I had purchased at an antique shop. Brandon and Chris helped me pick out a piece from their remnants at a great price. Since they didnt come out to my house to measure my dresser I provided them a template with exact measurements. When I came to pick it up I noticed a few measurements that were off. We got our countertop installed yesterday and I hurried to write a review because I was skeptical and worried - and also frustrated - at the beginning of the process. Amazing experience! As with everyone else doing home improvements during quarantine, we decided we wanted to redo our kitchen. After talking with the Lowe’s associate, we immediately got a response from the granite team to schedule a measurement. After we finalized details, the granite was cut and ready to be installed around 4 days later. Very quick response time!
