Probably THE most helpful staff of ANY hardware store Ive ever shopped in. ALWAYS willing to help.

I really like this store. I refer to it as my hardware store! I find what I need in a small, well organized store, staffed with nice people who are helpful. Having an email account treats me to in-store coupons and internet specials, making Aubuchon competitive with the big stores. This works for me!

Most of the store folks are great. Shawna (?) is awesome and the other young lady is always super happy to help and greet with a cheer!

I had a great experience on my first visit. I was there for propane for my grill. The cashier was very professional and Nick the one who filled my tanks was great. Had a little issue with a coupon not applying to the sale but Nick jumped right on it and helped resolve it with his manager. Definitely will be back. Nice to see people that actually care and treat customers right.

Thank you for your help in getting products from this hardware store. I can call a head and it will be ready for me. They carry out my 40 lb bag of water softener to my car. The staff are helpful and will answer your questions in a professional manner.

Have always had what I’ve needed without me having to drive a few towns over to Home Depot, Mike, John and Shawna are amazingly helpful, if I could give beyond 5 stars I would!

The store has been in the past somewhat disarranged. New Years eve I entered the store and found everyone on point and helpful. Also people cleaning and organizing bins and floor plan. It appeared to me that the store was being reorganized, disorganization of bins has been a problem in the past.When asked, a attendant said some changes in policy and organization have been made for 2021.Good job, Thank you for fixing a problem before it got too big to fix.Four stars for now as it is a work in progress.

First time in the store. Very impressed with quality and quantity of products for sale. Store personnel were helpful and kind willingness to help with anything. Will be making this store my go to place. Easier to get in and out vs the big box home improvement stores.

I’m so grateful for Aubuchon in West Stafford, CT. Not only are they close by, but they do a great job with answering questions I have while ordering online for curbside pickup. It’s very convenient to shop & pay without being near people during a pandemic (and being in a high risk health category). Everyone I’ve talked to (including all the folks delivering my curbside pickup order to the car) is very friendly. Also a plus in these depressing times. Thank you!!(Latest help from Aubuchon? Thanks for asking me to comment. I am well pleased with the store and often I have fount good help. I am an old man and this year I will be 80. In this town there is only a choice of two stores for hardware and I use them both. It is still time consuming attempting to finish my projects on my own especially when I attempt to do things for the first time. But all in all no complaints. Thank you.

Not sure what this persons role is within the store, but Michael is very rude. He doesnt seem to know the words please and thank you and is very demeaning, condescending, and oblivious to how to provide the customer with a positive experience. This was my first time at this store and it will absolutely be my last. If Michael should be fired, he has no business dealing with the public.

All employees are exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. Its a quick stop too. Ive never had to wait for anything ever.

Great hardware store has the inventory of a big box store with the personal touch of a mom and pop hardware store. They have literally everything here and the staff are great help as well.

Every time I go there I am greeted with a friendly smile and asked if I need help finding anything. The pricing is fair and I always find something different on display. I love going there!

I had a terrible experience at Stafford, CT store. I approached the store manager, Michael Powell for some help regarding decking screws. He was assisting a young male coworker with shelving in one of the aisles. He gave the impression that I was interrupting him as to what he was doing. In addition, this is not the first time I recognized this type of behavior from him. I walked with him to the aisle where the screws were located. I informed him that I had called 30 minutes previously and had spoken with someone on the phone asking about decking screws. He asked me who I spoke with and I stated it was a young gentleman, but I didnt get his name. He stated that there were only two male workers in the store this morning and that he wasnt the one who took the call, and it wasnt the other worker either. So I guess you can say, by deduction, that he didnt believe what I had told him. So, in other words, the customer is prone to think, this guy is calling me a liar . Quite offensive I would say. He was very nasty in his speech and started to argue with me. Not once did he offer an apology. Guaranteed, I will not return to his store and I will encourage the people I talk with to do business elsewhere. Id rather not deal with individuals with grandiose personalities. Ill go to Mansfield supply where they love to work with customers and volunteer to obtain the merchandise the customer needs rather than search the store yourself. They have better service at the Tolland hardware store as well. I cant wait until the farm and tractor supply store opens right up the street.

Always great to stop in when you need something quick. Only thing that disappoints me is a looked online at a few different items they stated they were in stock but upon arrival the shelf was empty I did ask at desk and was also told there was none.

I need to replace some pains of glass in a window in the attic I wish I could remember the name of the Man that helped me because the glass he. It for me was the perfect size and was able to get points and glazing compound and the window is like new again thank you Aubuchon!!!!

Good small town hardware store, competitive prices. Some things are actually cheaper here than home depot, The materials needed to build a childs process castle is a good example lol also certain plumbing supplies and tools. Staff is way nice. Most of them have been there a decade or two.

Was looking for 3M double sided mounting pads.. one of the staff member helped me to find a substitute which was great. 5 stars!
