Absolutely love Target its just like my happy place. Its always so nice and clean everything so well organized it always has stock of items that I need. The customer service is usually spot on. My only problem with Target is that they never have enough cashiers on the registers and they kind of force people to use self-checkout which I dont like. I know it makes their job easier if we use self-checkout but a lot of people still prefer to have a cashier ring them out that is part of the in-store experience if I wanted to bring myself out I would go and shop online. So they just need more cashiers and then well be Gucci

Very nice place to shop like all Targets! Only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because of 2 things. With the 2017 renovation, floor T2 has now gotten rid of the checkouts and parking elevators which makes you have to go all the way around the store back to floor T1 to check out and go back to your car. Second reason why I’m only giving 4 stars is because 4 elevators is DEFINITELY NOT ENOUGH. This place needs at least 6!!!

I went to target today to get supplies for the storm and I was greeted with no carts anywhere. So I went and asked a staff member. She just stared at me and started laughing. No reason for her to laugh. I just asked her where I could find one and I got no response. She spoke into her walky talky and continued to stare at me. So I just told her I would grab a basket and she apologized. Not only did this embarrass me but it made me question whether or not I should even bother to ever ask a staff member for help…

You have to pay for parking then you have to hike all the way up 3 flights of stairs to get into the store. The elevator will have you waiting for 10 minutes or longer. Super inconvenient Target to access. Plus they never seem to have any more then 3 registers open at a time including the self checkout. Go elsewhere.

I give them the 4 stars because the Drive Up makes my life so much easier. Some employees are good some other are rude.. it is a lottery. But the company has great ideas

Target desperately needs to update their ticket processing machines. It’s insane that if you lose a ticket you pay a fee of $15.00 that is just crazy. Honestly, never going to target again, even if that’s the only store that’s opened. They just lost my business. I can guarantee you that nobody spends more than 1-2 hours at target for them to charge $15.00 for a lost ticket. It really irks me that this location likes to take that amount for a lost piece of paper. Specially during these covid times where some people are still struggling to make ends meet just for Target to take away their money like that!Accidents happen, people misplace things specially a tiny piece of paper!!!!!!!!! You guys lost my business.

Great Target. Convenient downtown location with attached parking garage. The store is multi-leveled with elevators and escalators between them. Even has a cart lift at the escalators. Also has a Starbucks inside. Not much in the way of an outdoor/camping section, but this is an urban store.

If you’re going to charge me a dollar to freaking park at least get more self check out isles

The store itself is not bad however I went to the Starbucks on a weekday morning a couple of days ago. I was the only customer and the young lady working the Starbucks counter did not say one word to me. Is there no customer service training? I was friendly and polite and she never said one word. Not hello or thank you. Nothing. I am giving two stars because I like the store and my drink was made well.

Product etc is great. But some of the customer service associates have no concept of what the meaning of customer service is. They literally will go out of their way to make things difficult to get things done. There are some individuals who are great, but the morning staff is *awful*. Gets to the point where I dont even want to walk in the store in the morning. I would rather skip dinner with my family and shop at night where the staff is decent to deal with compared to the morning crew.

In store pick up can be quick and easy, but was not for my trip

Ease of use online; ease of process to pick up product (when its available).Wanted to buy a Samsung TV model that was on sale in Mount Kisco, NY (my local store), but I could not pick-it up at the same time because I wanted to drop off my passengers and empty my SUV to be able to fit the 70 flat-screen.I was told by the associate that they couldnt hold it for me since it would be considered not theirs anymore and they didnt want to be held responsible for it even if was going to pay for it then and pick it up later with a properly prepared vehicle. So I left empty-handed and they lost a sale with me.I tried to buy it online at the Mount Kisco store, but the system said it was no longer available there.I was fortunate to find one in Stamford, CT and I picked it up there with practically no issues, except for the fact that they placed the flat-screen TV standing up, but upside-down! Luckily, there were no issues of possible damage because the Stamford store is a considerable distance from my home AND home delivery of the TV I wanted was not available. No problem; I got what I wanted even though it took longer to get it.

The store is clean and the associates are friendly. Redina is always a so happy to help every customer and makes sure we are taking care of. Redina will always say hello with a smile. Thank you for being such an awesome associate! You make my day brighter when you are there ready to help out.

Prices, variety and quality. I like having the flexibility Target offers. However, I think Target on Broad Street in Stamford can step up their game with staff trainings. In the past 11 months, on two different occasions, I didnt have a satisfying experience at check out.

The service in target today was just poor customer service the sales associate for the self service registers was being very lazy and slacking off instead of doing her job

This target is dangerous... every time I go I find a few things that I absolutely love and need to purchase! Can’t go here to often because I’d end up with no money lol! Can’t say anything about the staff because there is no interaction with them but the store is awesome.

My interaction with your female associate at self-checkout at 11:19am was highly unacceptable. I was just in the line to pay for my item and the price came up wrong (in comparison to what price sticker said). Your male attendant told me that was the price and nothing he can do. I went back to the isle where I picked the item up and took a picture of what the corresponding price tag information said. I then brought this back to the self checkout lane, where I then encountered your female attendant. When I explained to her the situation and showed her the picture, she seemed utterly disgusted that I wanted to pay what was on the price tag. She immediately told me that I had a different size (which she later determined, I did not). She went on and on about how she would only do this for me once, and that she would personally be going to change the price tag herself. She told the male attendant to change it, but again uttered that she was going to change the price tag so that no one else gets the price change. Clearly no one cared about the guest/customer in this situation, as you made it my problem for your errors or bad day. I want to be contacted about this by management.

Overall its same as any other target but the management doesnt have customer service in their priority list.1. Since they have the so called Self Checkout kiosks that hardly work, they have extremely reduced the number of employees on checkout, that causes long lines.2. The managers favorite phrase to customers, Sorry the system doesnt allow me to help you. They also lie that they are the highest manager on duty even when they are not.3. They need to go back to how they used to be few years ago.4. This location has a girl who works in toys department but has zero tolerance for children or their parents. Management thinks its okay for her to yell at customers as she has a really tough job.

Poor customer service. Not all employees are bad, but most Ive encountered with doesnt care. They stand around looking and pretending they have something to do. Self-checkout have a few good employees that are very attentive; however, most dont actively check to see if you need help. More times then most you need to track someone down.

I will not be returning here ever.I came in a rush to quickly return two items at 8:30PM.When I got to the returns desk, I realized I left my card case (with ID and debit card) at home so they wouldn’t allow me to return the items because I didn’t have ID.In the rush to run home and return before closing, I misplaced my parking ticket.I explained what happened to the gate operator on the way out, he coldly replied that I can’t get out without payment. (Even though I was there for under ten minutes.)I turned around and panhandled $1 in change from some kind strangers and came back down.He told me that I have to pay $15 because I misplaced my ticket. I told him I do not have my wallet so it is not possible for me to pay $15. He replied “I can’t let you out without your parking ticket.”It is now 9:47PM. I have been here for over an hour. I have kids at home and a very busy schedule and I am stuck at the parking gate even though I had the dollar to pay to him.This gate operator is now standing in front of my car, flipping me off. I have a picture to prove it.I am in awe. There are many people who would be much better suited for this job.

The store itself is fine but its on the fifth floor and the ratio of parking to store is something like 4 to 1. A huge waste of space and an absolute disaster from the perspective of pedestrian safety and walkability. The city needs to impose maximum parking requirements for commercial development (rather than minimums) to prevent this kind of monstrosity from destroying the urban fabric.

I thinking about Target’s ad campaign I’m done after my Target Run. My Target is in on Broad Street in Stamford, Connecticut. This store has everything in one place making shopping easy and productive. From easy parking to easy shopping Target makes my shopping experience delightful and worthwhile. My first time shopping at Target, I felt a bit overwhelmed because I had never shopped such a large store, but after learning about the different departments on different levels I felt at ease shopping at Target. The experienced sales team helped me find my way. To my surprise I found everything I needed a short walk from the elevators. Wonderful! Shopping at Target was easy and fun. After my first shopping experience I decided to return to Target for my weekly shopping. Highly recommended to everyone I know, Target is a go to shopping experience and an awesome adventure.

Its our granddaughters first Christmas. We live in England, she lives with her mum and dad in Connecticut. We ordered her a Busy Buggy from Target on line, for pickup in store at Stamford by our daughter in law. They accepted the order and said to pick up Saturday. Then on Friday they changed pickup to the following Wednesday. Then on Saturday they send us an email saying Your item has been cancelled. The email does not explain why, and as part of their apology says You have not been charged for the canceled item. Wow, no charge for something I didnt get? Thanks Target, that is really generous!!I checked on line and according to the Target web site they actually have a Busy Buggy in stock at Stamford on Saturday, the day they originally told us to pick it up. So I really cannot understand what the issue is that cancelled the order.Thank you Target for trying to spoil our granddaughters Christmas. If we can, we like to deal with real stores, with a presence in the community, and not get everything from Amazon, but you dont make it easy. When we order presents in future for our granddaughter and the rest of her family in America, we certainly wont be using Target.

This place is horrible. I called asking if they took WIC they said yes. I come in to shop they had no one to help me, a paper with “ wic items “ nothing specific. The “ manager “ made nothing but excuses. Her name started with a D! She had 2 braids & didn’t know how to do her job. Get it together please.

Quick pickup form the store only a few minutes. They follow very strict policy on space between people (there are circles on the floor indicating the distance), wipe out the checkout with disinfectant after each client, personal directing the customers to avoid clogs and too many people at the same spot

I love target but when I came here with my family and I asked one of the employees where something is the girl had no idea she took my to a aisle that was unrelated to what I was looking for.Another time I came here for getting books for myself it had a lot of options but it was completely disorganized I looked at the price that’s supposed to be under a item it said a book that was not even there so when I looked at it I was very disappointed.Also now that they renovated the store the kids stuff I squeezed together while the adult stuff I spread out and VERY MESSY CLOTHES EVERYWHERE.I almost tripped! So 4 stars (I’m being very generous)

I go there alone in my spare time

I love target but the last two times I went to the Stamford location I had rude encounters with the staff members working at the dressing room. One staff member made a joke about how my friend and I left our hangers in the dressing room and sort of made fun of us to the other staff member. The second time a different staff member laughed when I asked if I could try on underwear over my own underwear and acted as if that was a silly question - when in fact many stores allow this. Lastly, at the self checkout we waited a while for an attendant to come help us. We needed to get his attention after waiting a while after the screen said someone would be coming.

I lost my Amex credit card at the Stamford, CT Target yesterday and only discovered it missing today. I was quite distraught and returned to the store to look for it/ask about it. Janette R. at customer service to the rescue! She was patient, understanding, professional and polite. She was able to locate and return my card to me. I want to thank Janette R for her excellent demeanor and service. She is a shining example of the fine people you have working at the Stamford location. Service was amazing in the Cosmetics section. I have very sensitive skin and was looking to find a new type of foundation that won’t irritate my skin. The person that helped me was very passionate about the products even though you could tell she was very busy she still paid me attention. She told me everything I needed to know and told me the return policy, she even gave me the number to text if I had any questions about beauty products. I never would have expected this from Target. I wish I could remember her name but she was a short Hispanic women with keys on her neck.

This is a nice Target in the town of Stamford. Its 2 Floors inside. Good selection. Only downside is they charge for parking.

This location isn’t bad. Most employees are pretty nice. They try to keep the store clean, you have customers who come in and feel the need to rearrange things. Prices are decent. I won’t buy anything target branded food wise. Doesn’t taste great. Other than that, decent store with decent prices.

Nice place. Little pricey.. but a good one within the downtown. Its pretty big place with 3 floors. Very spacious and good customer support. There service is really good at the counter. I mostly prefer online, as most of the Target discounts are available online as well.

I have shipped at quite a few Targets across the country and this store is by far the worst. The store greets you with broken elevators that happen more frequently than not. A terrible produce section and sparse refrigerator and freezer sections. I would expect a city of this size would have a better Target than this black sheep of the corporation.

No point in having a produce section if the limited selection of items you actually DO have are rotten and old (seen time and time again). I have never seen chicken in the meat section, carts are always jamming or squeaking, self checkouts are always busted and lines backing up. Elevators are slow and pay to park too.... The only positive is a convenient location but based on all the negatives, not worth it.

Recently put an online order in for Target via the web. Free shipping for orders over $35 Is a great value. Website is intuitive & very easy to use. Pricing turned out to be equal to or better than Amazon. We also tried their contactless pickup... good experience BUT why are the pick-up spots on the fourth floor ?

Stamford, CT location is ok. Selection of stuff is hit or miss- sometimes theyre out of stuff and sometimes the shelves are full. Lines can be very long and often not many registers are open but staff is very friendly. Pricing accuracy has always been awful- often charged a little higher than the displayed prices. Definitely go to the scanners to check prices on things before checking out if theyre working.

A good Target thats located on the 5th and 6th floor. The first 4 floors are for parking. You can find everything you may need here and if u dont, its possible to have it shipped here.

This Target is fine if you like paying for parking and dont want to ask anyone for assistance. If you have a question the staff does its best to avoid you or give little to no help. The shopping cart escalator is pretty cool though.

There aren’t many in the area, and I am glad that one is the one that I use to do my shopping, clean and organized, with helpful staff. What I like about target is that you can find almost everything you need in one place, and if you are not picky, you will find great deals.Not that great: Pay for parking. I never got the idea of paying for parking when you come for shopping. Besides that, Target is great for shopping.

I came to this Target a month ago.  The lady at the register was so helpful although I don’t remember her name.

I do not like the new remodel at all.it seems there 15 lanes are for show. That has one cashier with a big line and self serve lines were even longer. Target you lost another customer. Plus $ to park to top it all off. Ill go to another store like khols with lots of cashiers n no fee to park .

Convenient, weird architecture.

The store is right in downtown which makes it reachable for Stamford residents. The maintenance and presentation is very good. There is Starbucks and Pizza hut for food and you name a item and the store had it but less options for vegetables and fruits.There are excellent thanks giving day sale and on any special day like Easter, Halloween. There is payable parking area adjacent to the store. I love the store very much.

I found the employees very helpful and friendly. Donald helped me find the item I was looking for and brought it to the front for me and Adam helped me bring it to my car and load it in. The cashiers (sorry, didnt catch their names) were also nice and helpful. The only reason I have to remove a star is because 2/4 elevators were broken. It seems like thats not uncommon and seeing as how its the 6th floor thats pretty important.

What is that terrible smell at the starbucks inside? And before that the putrid smell on the first floor... its just awfulStaff are mostly useless if you can find them.Stars for the clean bathroom and good back to school sale + nice wrapping paper around christmas.I also come in often just to get a snack.

Only 2 self serve registers open and over a dozen people in line 20 minutes before closing. It took a very long time to check out.

My order was ready a lot earlier than expected. Store renovation looks great and staff is always helpful and super friendly. I just wish the store was located elsewhere so I dont have parking fee. Otherwise, great shopping experience .

BUYER BEWARE! There was an item on sale and when I got to the register I was told they would not honor said sale. Was told head office sent out inaccurate signage but its not their problem. They are also no longer honoring the CT state law they have posted outside their front doors!

Won’t let people in because of protest in stamford

This particular target is OK. It has two levels and relatively ample space, but it easily fills up. They arent well stocked and dont seem to have a lot of stuff here, especially grocery related. The worst part is checkout as they seem to only have 1-3 people open at a time. Two floors with two separate check outs and they never manage to have more than 3 lanes open. I have tried going at all hours of the day (morning, afternoon, evening, and night) and its the same all times of day.

The products we find in Target are great and we love looking around this store. It’s too bad we’ve had terrible customer service experiences on both occasions we’ve been to this location. Once during purchasing and another when returning a few items. Unfortunately, we were helped by the same person on both occasions, Jannette, and because of this Target employee we decided to stop going to this location and make our purchases online. It’s crazy how someone with an overall bored, annoyed and downright bad tempered attitude (for no reason at all) can change the way you think about a store.

I like the fact that Pizza Hut and Starbucks are both located at this Target location but the sit down area does need a face-lift. Some items can be pricey so I always try and shop the clearance or markdowns sections. Great return policy.

The sit down eatery needs to be redone,its drabby and not the cleanest it could be. However the guy who works in the Starbucks section is very friendly and professional! The other side that serves pizza, that should be closed down. What happened? It used to be so nice a few years ago.

Their Bullseyes playground selection is pretty good, I find a lot of good stuff here.

Poor accuracy of pricing. but attitude when making mistakes. the cashier who charged me the wrong price today even blamed me that I should have told her earlier when she charged me the wrong prices. as a customer, I need to review her work?! that doesnt make any sense.

The worst store I never see,

Horrible Horrible Horrible customer service, waited an hour to get someone to come to the counter at electronics, and whenever you try to talk to someone they just say someone will be with you. nobody there seems to know what they’re doing. Items are usually organized and stocked but If you need an actual person for any part of your shopping experience DO NOT even attempt to work with the Stamford Target.

It was nice when they first opened, But now its a frustrating experience. I shop with a list of items that they regularly carry but half the time they are out of stock. They need to have better security because I have seen shoppers eating before they pay and leave the empty wrappers on the shelves. And shoppers make a mess of the merchandise leaving unwanted items wherever. Not pleasant.

Located downtown with ample parking, helpful staff. Good selection of products with fair pricing. Worth driving a little bit more because you are almost guaranteed to find what youre looking for.

Very sad to find that this target did not have one Hanukkah menorah or box of candles in The entire store. Pretty shocking since there are four synagogues in this area perhaps target does not know who their customers are.

Would have been nice to have signs saying you can’t take carts into parking lot BEFORE I bought $500 worth of kitchen items for the office.Store was also dirty - which Target’s usually aren’t.Wouldn’t advise shopping here if you can avoid it!

They charge for parking, the elevators to the first floor are very slow, and the selection its standard except for the overripe and tasteless produce. Still, it is nice too have one in town instead of having to drive miles away to pick up some basic merchandise.

The target itself is okay not great but this location is terrible, you have to pay for parking and if you use the ground level entrance it’s an elevator that may or may not be working. Stamford deserves a better target location.Adding to my original review.Stopped in for wide foil of course they don’t have it, don’t have almond milk either, shelves are always bare & the place is now under construction & has become a nightmare to get in and out but of course, you still have to pay to park #done

Good store for clothes, furniture and food items - you have to pay for parking

I live in downtown Stamford. The only reason I visit this Target store is because of location.REALLY BAD Cashier staff!!!! They usually throw stuff into the bag.Be alert, the cashier sometimes put your stuff in so many bags, and they forget to give them to you. It happened to me that my stuff was put in the bag of the next customer. I never had such bad shopping experiences at Target somewhere else. This Stamford Target is the worst!!!I believe the management in this store are horrible! The staff dont care about customers and their attitudes are bad!Do not recommend this store at all!!!!

Ive seen this formally wonderful store turn into a miserable experience. In every aspect. the decor, the mess, the staff. so diappointing.

Two story high Target in downtown Stamford with a wide selection. Also includes a full grocery store with great prices. The store is clean and well organized with a friendly staff. The store is always very crowded with long lines that do seem ro move along quickly. Parking is an hourly fee base even if you make purchases which is a negative...they should offer free parking with a twenty dollar or more purchase.
