Great place to pick up Penn State gear when in town. They also tend to be more user friendly for students needing text books, at least from our experiences.

This place is huge. Better prices than Campus /Barnes and Noble. 3 floors, almost a block long. Entire floor of varsity apparel, including a section for kids, alumni, and parents. Tons of souvenirs including pennants, car decals, mugs, blankets, even foam fingers. Worth a stop and a chance to walk around downtown.

I like the one at the HUB for clothing better.

One of the best places to get Penn State gear in town.

Pretty big, lots of great clothes and souvenirs, even though I came from Ohio.

This is a large souvenir type shop that also carries a large selection of college textbooks and school supplies. The souvenir side of the shop is absolutely overpriced and expensive. They also carry random Penn State items like Christmas ornaments, posters, mugs, tailgating equipment, etc. There are only some items that are a reasonable price. Although they do have a good selection of hats. The best part about this store by far is the TEXTBOOKS! Their prices are generally lower than the Hub Bookstore. Renting is usually the best way to go. Pro tip- check your textbook prices online before you buy them in person. It could save you!!

Incredible service!They have lots of items to choose from and one of the best selections of Penn State items! Prices are slightly lower than other stores downtown.

Definitely the best place to go to get books and stuff. They give you 10% off discount you can use for everything and therefore everything is cheaper here than everywhere else.

I ordered a graduation card that said, Penn State Grad for our daughter who recently attained her masters degree. The card arrived with the envelope bent in half, and therefore, the contents bent in half. There was no stamped message DO NOT BEND. Nor was there a piece of cardboard or anything to keep it from bending. Obviously, if I order a card from a great distance, its important to me. Obviously, if I make a call, I would like the situation remedied; however, this was not obvious to these people. I was told: We find if we put fragile on anything UPS destroys it! Ha ha ha ha giggle giggle etc. Her flippant attitude tells me much. Beware ordering from here. If its ruined, they do not take responsibility, nor do they care.

This store is so much more than a bookstore. It is a one-stop shop for much of what a Penn State student needs to be academically successful. They sell books, calculators, binders, iClickers, and other resources at lower prices than other stores in the area. You can also sell back books at the end of the year. In addition to the school supplies, they sell miscellaneous Penn State gear at discounted prices. Cant recomend this place highly enough.

Note to self: get in here and get your books early before the crowd! Holy cats there is a lot of people in there! But, the store is well laid out with plenty of options for merchandise! Also, they are a relatively cheap place to get great Penn State stuff!

Dont like the new floor layout. Cramed the non appeal items into small places and have a bunch of cheap looking clothing in the middle section now. Really took the place down a couple notches in my opinion.

The loyalty cards are a great thing for a broke college student. They have much cheaper books than the hub which is great.

Good place to shop for Penn State gear and apparel. All kinds of shirts, jackets, hats, and basically everything you want with Penn State on it. Good selection of graduation gift items, school supplies, and game day gear. And it is right in the center of everything, so stop by.

Purportedly a book store, but Ive only ever been on gamedays. If youre looking for PSU merchandise, this is the first place to go. There are plenty of other stores in State College, but this one seems to have the best selection, so I start here and check other stores if I cant find what I want, which is rare. Prices are pretty much what youd expect for licensed merch.

Excellent choice of unique Penn State items. If you are looking for something Penn State that is rather specific SBS is your best bet.

Great for getting your books for the semester over the PSU book store, however still extremely expensive. If you are a first year student book stores are not the place for you, all those books, iclicker2 and other first year stuff can be found digitally or resold by upperclassmen

Staff was very rude. Rather than coming to the counter to help, one insisted on shouting across the room while making no effort to help me. The other one that ended up ringing me up was courteous but rather unsure of what he was doing. Ill save the hassle and order online next time.

The store itself is a very good PSU store. However, the employees are awful. They arent nice when you checkout and are entirely unhelpful when your shopping. They make you give them your bag when you enter to prevent theft of textbooks but you have to give over your bag even if you are shopping in the clothing section, which is annoying. The store has a nice selection but if you want a pleasurable shopping experience there are better options.

Great place to find all Penn State gear, but other stores have better pricing (though less choice). If youre looking for something specific, you can probably find it here.

A friend was selling & signing her childrens books there during Arts Festival. They helped her with everything, even letting her have a table outside the door, to sell to passers by.

I was in the store when I was much younger and I was anxious to come back. The store did not disappoint me. Im so glad we made the trip!

Books are expensive, they have good deals on used calculators and offer to buy a lot of stuff back. One of the employees said I could even bring the calculator back if it didnt work.

Great place to get student supplies or Penn State merchandise. A bit more expensive then some other shops in the area but their clothes are much higher quality.

Textbooks are clearly labeled and the staff is very helpful. It is much more pleasant doing business here than at the campus bookstore.

Everything you need, and many things you dont need, to commemorate a trip to Penn State University.

The great thing about this book store is that they often have whatever random computer accessory I may need, because my classes are mostly near Uni. Dr., this is quite convinient, the students who work there are lovely and capable, and I enjoy how easy it is to find what I need when Im there.
