Our tv remote box and remote is still functional but they send us a new one. When I called the customer service, they said that because I am a valued customer it is for free and I will just send them back the old equipment. Unfortunately the one that they send us is defective, that is why we can not install it. Multiple phone calls to customer service and they suggest that they will send us their technician without informing us that it would be 70 dollars for a 3 minute visit. The new remote does not have a purchase pin so my children played with it. Because of the defective equipment that they send us, it wasted our time calling the customer service and it doubled our bill. Don’t choose this internet provider. They are money hungry.
Xfinity is AT&T in the making. Xfinity online service is very bas so is their in store service. Over the phone it takes atleast 30 minutes of struggling with numbers on the phone before you get to speak to a human being. Today I came to the Xfinity store in State College Pennsylvania to close my account and return the equipment. I had to wait for 30 minutes before it was my turn.
Called the number provided however it is automated and unable to provide any service. If anyone know how to get to a real person to have a discussion with?
I spoke today with technicians whom I told that I had gone to the Xfinity store and successfully changed our account from my now deceased husbands name to mine but I also wanted caller ID to reflect my name as well and that it was still reflecting his. After being placed on hold by the techs several times and told to go to my computer, finally I was told the change had been made. This evening I called a friend who confirmed that the change did not appear. My name did not show within caller ID. My deceased husbands name is still appearing in caller ID. This is completely unacceptable!
Friendly and helpful staff.Make sure to carefully read everything on the website about sales/discounts. Some are for new customers only and other sales are for everyone or existing customers.
I moved out of my house two months ago. They charged me 20. I called they said they would reverse charge. Then instead charged me another twenty. Then I got charged 57. Now my internet was 40 and my phone used to be 14. No combination of these numbers equals that bill. Im now going to close my bank account to stop you scumbags from stealing money. And Im going to contact the better business bureau. I could get Comcast at my new house. But Ill go with another company. Lost a customer that pays their bills. With piss poor customer service .

Worked with a great professional named Marquise. Cant say enough positive things about this young man! We wanted to install and evaluate Xfinity internet services, but found several configuration problems with our account. He worked tirelessly with Support services until he was able to give us a fully functional account. He then mentioned Xfinity mobile Phone services as well. I promised to evaluate the reviews and get back to him. Internet services worked flawlessly and the reviews for the phone services were very positive as well. So after a few days, we went back and worked with Marquise again to drop our Verizon accounts and switch to Xfinity. He took care of everything and we left very happy and with fully functional phone service.He was very professional, very knowledgeable, and very patient throughout all of our questions and concerns. Cant say enough good things about the man.Has been about a week now and we are completely satisfied with Marquise and Xfinity!

They assisted me in evaluating their xFinity CATV HD, VDR offerings by providing the necessary STB, hi-speed cable modem, all cables & a new remote.Eventually, I decided against the new xfinity offering due to the smaller fonts used for CC and the significantly harder to read XFi MENU presentation vs. the existing MENU GRID display thats much easier to read and to navigate for someone w/ vision problems.
Automatic calling is like talking to the trash!
I started with the Triple Play package. Over the last 10 years, I have been with DISH, and the Direct TV, and now Comcast. Comcast is the best of the bunch, By far the least expensive. They threw in Free Netflix, $100 gift card, A free land line ( I attached to my fax) Also switched from Verizon to Comcast mobile, so much cheaper, and quality is the same as Verizon as they use Verizon towers.It is true that speaking to someone on the phone is difficult, as all the above use computers to try and assist you. Which can be difficult when they do not understand what you want., after all they are not human. By far the best way to get service is get up off your A** and go to the store. Then you can speak direct to a real human. But those agents are great, they work hard to get you what you want.

Tried to call the local store but can’t, they don’t have any phone number listed. Just want one WiFi pod but they only sell them in a 3 pack or larger. I was told be Xfinity customer service I would have to make an appointment to have this simple question answered.
If you have any issue with your Xfinity bill dont call. Honestly its not recommended. But if you want to get your issue dealt with correctly go into the store.
Ive gone to this store four times and tried to get service. All I want is to access the voicemail on the phone I bought from them. The pin for my voice mail was not mailed to me as they claim. If I try to get my pin through chat, the bot insists I am asking about a TV. If I phone, the system states there is no record of my phone number (although they have no trouble billing me). Several times Ive had Christopher.. I have nothing good to say about his knowledge or attitude.
The website for Xfinity is impossible. They make it so difficult to find anything or change items on your account via online. Not only that, when you try to call them directly you have to jump through a bunch of automated prompts just to get to a real person......what happened to personable customer service?

Totally impossible to deal with the automated phone system, a complete nightmare. Refuses to let you speak to a human being. Worst service ever!
They lie to you. I was lied to about my bill, service, and equipment. The old tenants past due charges went on my bill and Comcast said they can’t do anything about it. I feel this utility is not to be trusted. They are scam artists and crooks!
Horrible customer service. They wanted us to walk out of the store with equipment that they knew wasn’t working! Told us we would have to call tech support because they couldn’t get the equipment activated in their system. This is after being on hold an hour ordering the equipment. The representative was snotty about it too and didn’t want to help until we insisted. The problem was with their internal computer system. Comcast is always a nightmare to deal with and they have a monopoly in our neighborhood.
Employees were attentive and friendly. Even those who were not assisting me.
Would be great if I could speak to a live individual as my box stopped working last week but the stores are closed and my account is a bulk account under my landlord so I cant set up an individual account for the system to run me through auto diagnostics or any of those fun things. I need to get a new box or a tech to physically do something but every time I try to call the 800number it disconnects me when I get to the part where you ask for agent. Im to the point where Im going to pay another streaming service for tv just so I dont have to deal with this for my free cable...
They were not able to help me with the xfinity voicemail app on my samsung s9+. I got the feeling these stores are just places to sell you things.

Store is fine, but phone service is horrible!! You cant get to speak to a live person no matter what you do!! Ive tried for over 20 minutes and finally got the stupid machine to try to connect me! Its almost enough to make a person just quit your company! I am so stressed! It is very poor PR! You guys need to do something!!

As you can tell from the other negative reviews, this company is just horrible. This is what happens when theres no competition. Customer service is almost non-existent, and reps REPEATEDLY lie about pricing if you ever do get through. There was a class action suit against Comcast in another state for systematic lies to customers, and we need similar accountability in PA. I cant drop the internet, but I am cancelling my phone service since I have other options there.

They have a extremely rude auto phone service. You can never talk to a real person when you have true emergency. I would never use xfinity if theres any other option.
