Always a 5 star experience. Im by no means a cigar aficionado but seems like they only stock the best quality products. Very knowledgeable staff that actually seem genuinely interested in finding you the perfect smoke given your preferences. Always willing to share their knowledge and dont seem like their customers are a burden. Ive been there over a dozen times and each time is a 5 star experience.

Stopped in to get 2 cigars to celebrate my 50th birthday. The chap who was there was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Ive passed the store for years and I am glad that I went in. A quality operation. I only wish I had brought my pipe as they had a decent selection of loose tobacco.

Love Beverley Cigar Store. The corner location and inside space is awesome. More importantly, the service was exceptional. I picked up some gifts and was helped by a knowledgeable and friendly employee.

Great prices and good selection. Stopped by here a week ago on the way to Corolla NC and picked up some quality smokes on the way down from WV. Stopping by tomorrow on the way back with my FIL to enjoy the lounge and cigars again. Great atmosphere!!

As a pipe smoker, I’ve gotten used to disappointment. Luckily there are some great e-tailers out there. But when I’m traveling, I’m always on the lookout for a hidden gem. This shop is beautiful, but the selection of pipe tobacco was minimal. Or decent, by today’s standards, I suppose. I picked up a couple of tins of different Peterson flakes, and some bulk Comoy’s Cask #7 which they were selling under a house brand name.I’m trying to get into the habit of posting information for fellow pipe smokers in search of a decent B&M. At Beverly, chances are you won’t find YOUR favorite, but they’ll likely have a thing or two worth sticking in your pipe... which is more than I can say for most places. I’d definitely check it out again if I was in the area.

Excellent selection of cigars, pipes and tobacco, hats, lighters and other various accouterments. A friendly and knowledgeable staff with nice seating areas, both inside and out (Fri. eve - Sunday eve) and of course, interesting local and tourist patrons to talk with.

Awesome service everytime.

I been coming for months and I buy things once Ina while but today. The young man said we can play chess unless we buy something. Used to be allowed to come in and play casually and laid back. I will not come back and I will tell my friends about how much of a tyrant that young man was.

I rated this initially as a 4 star. I got a very nice reply asking if there were any suggestions for anything that might be missing from my experience there. Thinking of my experience I have to say there was nothing missing. (One thing would have made it nicer: a bourbon and water. But this is beyond their control.)My experience: I was warmly greeted by an engaging young man. Very enjoyable conversation. I asked for a CAO Brasilia. He had one. He set me up and I had a beautiful smoke.The surroundings were interesting. An old downtown building with high ceilings. A little jazz music floating around. Nice ventilation; probably the only somewhat negative is that my smoke, once exhaled, floated away almost too cleanly! I like it to linger just a bit.All in all a great place and I cant wait to return.

All tobacco products, coffee available, comfortable lounge area(s) proper ventilation, and professional staff interested in delivering an experience youll enjoy not making a show of what they think they know about cigars.All things considered, the Cigar Indian statues are problematic and an eyesore. I enjoyed everything else about my experience here.

I’ve traveled to cities all over the US and frequent as many cigar shops as I can. This is defiantly my favorite cigar spot! From the friendly staff and the background music, to the wide selection and reasonable prices...this place is perfect. If you could make an identical copy of this lounge and put one in every town in the USA, life would be perfect.

Very nice atmosphere in this bar. Open smoking, yet not oppressively filled with smoke. This means that your non-smoking buddies (spouses) can join you for a great time.

My go-to place for quality, hand rolled cigars. The owner is extremely knowledgeable in cigar and pipe lore and provides great customer service. The lounge is a genteel place for diverse, yet civil, conversation.

I stopped in this store looking for rare and hard to find smokes. They dont have all the hard to find sticks but James was super awesome! Helped find me some sticks I had not even known before! Will return again. Also they have a aged section. Love it!

A great place to enjoy a fine cigar. Aaron is a great owner and takes good care of his customers. The store is in a beautiful location and has a wide assortment of cigars, pipe tobacco and accessories to choose from. The lounge is very comfortable and always something interesting on TV.

Very excellent customer service. They help provide suggestion and guidance when wanting to try tobacco products whether it is for ones own enjoyment or as a present for someone else.

This place saved by butt. 5 hour drive to a bachelor party and none of the other cigar shops cut it, but this place is awesome if you need cigars or pipes or tobacco. Not cigarettes or vape liquid. You can relax there and smoke if you wish as well.

Beverley Cigar is easily one of my favorite shops in downtown Staunton. The employees there are extremely helpful and courteous, and they have a fantastic selection of cigars and pipe tobacco. I highly recommend it!

I feel it necessary to first state I am writing this review as a pipe smoker. That said my review is slightly biased. I very rarely smoke cigars and cannot knowledgeably give feedback on this subject.As a pipe smoker I will say first of all, the customer service was wonderful. As soon as I entered I was greeted by the staff who were more than willing to assist me. I immediately gravitated to a wall with a grand selection of MM corn cob pipes. The staff cordially pointed out the locations of pipe fare they had to offer. These were to include new briars as well as meershams I believe. Church wardens and estate pipes were available as well.I then looked over their blended tobaccos, tins as well as bulk.As to my rating, I would like to have seen a larger selection of tinned blends. The selection of Peterson blends was fairly extensive however C&D and G.L. Pease were nowhere to be found.My main purpose for stopping in was to see what was available in new briars. I was hoping to find something in the 40 to 80 dollar range. If one was present it was not noticed. I did however purchase a bulk blend at the recommendation of a staff member which I have been enjoying.(Revolution) I was really hoping to lay hands on a new briar and maybe see some hard to come by tinned blends, maybe have a look at a blending kit.To sum up, if you are a cigar smoker I would say stop in and enjoy a smoke in the lounge. I am sure the staff will be happy to accommodate you. If you would like to try an interesting bulk blend as well I would say pop in and have a look.
