I had a great first experience with Slim Pickins Outfitters as I prepared for a backpacking trip. I realized I was running late the day I went to the store, so I called ahead, and they stayed open for me after their normal business hours so I could make my purchases. Not only that, but Jahmica sat down and visited with me for almost an hour after that. Great service, and their prices are comparable to other outfitters. Ill definitely go back to this place!

The owner is one of the most sincere people you’ll meet! And you will meet him if he’s in shop because he cares that much! Anytime I’ve gone the staff has been incredibly helpful and hooks me up with the best gear I never knew I needed! Quality products for a good price! This is a business you can trust. Whatever your needs, theyll do their best to supply you with what youre after. Every item Ive purchased from Slim Pickins has performed just as they said it would. Mainly, the Columbia Blood and Guts III shirts I purchased for work. They breath better than most other fishing shirts and they resist stains better to boot. Do yourself a favor and call, or send these folks an email, if youre in the market for some outdoor gear. You can expect integrity from Slim Pickins.
