Checking out was a night mare. Registers were down except for one then another came available. No communication with customers.

This place reminds me of Ross: good deals but so much better organized. There’s really cute baby stuff here. I enjoy stopping by to see what unique items I can find at a bargain price

Lots of options for women, girls, and boys but not so much for men. Love the stuff for women though

The store is hit or miss. Sometimes the store is clean and well-organized. Other times can resemble a yard sale. I always find something I like even if I have to dig a little. If you dont see your size, look on other racks. Things are not always in the same spot.

Store has gone down since it first opened. I used to be able to go in and buy an outfit for the day, but now its like there is nothing Im interested in. I walked out with only cologne in my last visit.

Ill be back to check this store out again because I was shopping for a specific item which they didnt have. Limited plus sized clothing but I wasnt terribly surprised since this is a college town and the median age (and fat person population) is likely pretty limited. Decent prices and the store was neat which can be an issue with these type of stores. Friendly, helpful staff too.

Excellent location to get good items for a discount. Store has a selection of clothing for all types, dishware, toys, and personal care products. If you visit often, you can catch the best items that you may be looking for on their clearance rack. The only thing you may have trouble looking for, is shoes of the correct size. I personally wear size 14 shoes, and they very rarely have that in stock. But short of truly exceptional sizes, you should have no problem finding what you need here for a great price.

More or less a department store, Burkes has merchandise that tantalizingly tugs on my pocket book. They keep the store clean. It could use a little more straightening, but, well managed overall. Definitely worth return trips.

Theyve got some good, if not better prices here than at Wal-Mart for some stuff. I wouldnt really recommend getting bedding stuff from there only b/c it can rip a little easier (speaking from experience). If they sold groceries here, Id probably come here more than Wal-Mart.
