Hit a family of deer outside of crook colorado months ago. Had several places based on reviews to choose from for repairs. TLC speaks volumes with their shop, cleanliness, equipment and very pleasant people who represents them. 24hrs later after tow, me running parts to Denver and back, Im up and running and very thankful! Thank you for everything from Amazon Transport LLC! Update: months later, great! Nothing wrong, all the work from this place was over the top! I would recommend this place for any diesel and gasser repairs!
Great people very descent price.hats off to Adam for helping me out the other night.
Dont take your big truck to these folks. They have no idea what they are doing on a big truck.
These guys are scammers and I wouldnt trust them to do an oil change. TLC Automotive gives mechanics a bad name.I had an issue of transmission slip and explained that the transmission was full of fluid, but, slipped gears. They brought it into their shop, checked the fluid level with the dipstick, connected an OBD tool to it, and determined their OBD tool only reads 1996 and newer vehicles. My vehicle is a 1991 and their tool couldnt read it. (As if that shouldnt be obvious to anyone) They also then told me they dont service transmissions anyway. They then wanted to charge $105 for their incompetence and threatened to impound my truck if I didnt pay them. They then refused my card and I had to give them all the cash in my pockets. (So I now cannot dispute the charge)If you dont service transmissions, you shouldnt have taken in my truck when I brought it in for transmission repair. Any auto parts store (oreilly, napa, advanced, auto zone) will do an OBD scan for free. So, they must charge $100 to pull your dip stick.Im going to include a photo of my receipt here so you all can see the absurdity of this establishment.
Our 40 foot RV had a catastrophic failure in eastern Colorado. When the drive shaft and u joint went out, it took the air suspension which made loading and unloading close to impossible. But Jesse showed up with a flatbed and took great care to try to avoid any coach damage. He was meticulous. You couldnt find a better employee. He was very pleasant and calm while our feathers were ruffled. We road with him for 126 miles to Brighton. He was as nice as he could be. Great customer service. We sure appreciated him as he put in a lot of work and a long day. We highly recommend this company. Thanks, Jesse.
They were friendly and helpful. Willing to work with me
Great staff.. fast service!
We had a Semi towed by this company today 36 miles, 1900.00 was the tow bill. 230.00 for the repair. Its unfortunate companies like this take advantage of broke down semi near them. I understand a wrecker is expensive but nothing like getting it all in one tow.
This company is terrible! They left me stranded being out of state and refused to take my payment by credit card and demanded cash! They are dishonest and unprofessional as the guy cursed at me. Stay far away!
Great place to work
Refuseed to disclose price before service. $4000 for a 80 mile tow. Itemized bill showed $1000 transportation fee for taking the driver 0.5 mile to his hotel. Attempted to discuss some of the fees with them and they threatened to charge me another hour if I didnt pay them immediately.
Broke down outside TLC towed me and my trailer to Sterling . Adam went above and beyond to help me out. Thanks Again
Too Expensive. an unkind
On June 29 they installed a starter in my Tundra . $812 in labor for about 3 hours work . They did discount the charge $116, so $696, so $232 /hr.They were nice, seemed to do the job . Towed our trailer from the truck stop to their shop, did not charge for that . Let us plug in to run our air cond. So, what to say . Just be sure you understand what the labor might be . Originally the $800 labor estimate was for possibly several hours of work . It was 3 hours but the labor stayed the same . Be clear on charges first...
Amazing response time. Justin and Keith were the best. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Our Newell coach had to be towed to a diesel service garage and they showed up with a flat bed trailer that could handle a 53,000 pound coach. They handled the coach as if it your their own. Took its to a shop that had us back on the road in 3 hours. Truly the best experience Ive ever had on the road. They turned a bad day into a good one.
Broke down on the highway after contacting AAA we were picked up with in an hour and helped with a hotel room for the night. Contacted early in the morning with the issue and fixed soon after. Over all great experience as well as great guys Casey and Greg.
We had a really crappy experience with this company. My brother and I were in a motorcycle accident and for some reason they took our bikes to two different places and mine just so happened to go to TLC. They wanted to charge me $600 just to get my bike out after 1 day of it being there! My brothers bike got taken to A&R and they only charged him $250 to take his out. So dont use TLC they will just try and rip you off.
I filed a theft report with Sterling PD. When insurance company towed our camper from TLC all the items worth any money were missing. About 500.00 worth of items. I would avoid using this junior varsity tow company/mechanic at all costs.
From the owner to the yard man everyone is polite, courteous and helpful. They even allowed me to store my semi on their premises until I returned from a project that my company had me on. Thank you all for your assistance
Absolutely great service. We are from out of state and our car was overheating. They were able to get us in and they fixed the car up and we were on our way. Very kind staff.
0 stars, very unprofessional and blatantly dishonest.Took them 5 days to complete a 5 hour job on my vehicle and damaged components they installed on my vehicle. Had the vehicle checked by another certified technition who confirmed brand new parts were damaged. I contacted TLC and spoke with thier head mechanic, he blatantly denied installing the components on my vehicle. Apparently brand new tie rod ends magically appeared on my vehicle that were cross threaded and bent. Hmmmm...the work I paid them to do and waited 5 days to complete was replacing the rack and pinion...wow but they dont know how brand new tie rod ends would have been installed, according to the head mechanic, tie rod ends had nothing to do with the work they performed. What an utter and complete lack of competence and dignity on thier end.
They are theives. My dad died in his semi. They towed the truck and all of my dads personal belongings to their lot. The window was broken so there was no was no way to have his belongings secured. My dads valuable items were taken. He had a brand new HP laptop, a lot of gold rings, gold necklaces, cologne, a cooler refrigerator and more. They kept his valuables. How dare someone steal from the dead.
My family was well taken care of by TLC, Travis picked us up on I76 @ 2am on New Years Day/ Monday morning and couldnt have been nicer!!!! Travis not only picked us up and got us to a hotel, he and the team at TLC got our vehicle repaired and got us back on the road in a timely fashion. Thank you so much for the hospitality and excellent accommodations!! Happy New Year to the TLC team and especially Travis. - Jr, Erin, Myah, and Raegan
Keith and the rest of the boys over at TLC saved us when our duly and 24 trailer got a blowout and needed to be towed into the Denver area from NE in time for event setup. They were efficient, professional, friendly, and full of tips on what we can do to make sure the rig is safe in the future. Any time were in the area and need a little TLC with our trucks or cars, I would most certainly be giving these guys a call. Thanks!
They tore my front fender off and ruined my entire front axle on my 2008 lifted Jeep Wrangler rock crawler (a total of $2,500 fix) claiming I did that to my vehicle before they got it. So I told them to get the body cam footage from the Logan police and all of a sudden I get no calls back, James is never in the office when I call.
They are a wonderful group of people they came out on a Sunday afternoon to pick us up off the highway when our wheelbarring went out Keith was super nice and they had us back one the road by 10:00 Monday morning thanks again!!
If I could give this place 0 stars I would! I called and scheduled an appointment, made sure he knew the make and model and year of my car for an oil change. My fiancé was told he’d be out 40 minutes max. 40 minutes later they came out told my fiancé they didn’t have the right oil for it and they had to order it from oreillys. Almost 2 hours later they finally finished with my oil change! My fiancé asked if they could discount him for making him late to dropping my son off the guy said no and charged $103 for an oil change!!! I have never ever spent that much on an oil change let alone for waiting 2 hours. DO NOT GO HERE. Worst experience I’ve ever seen in my life!
Had a great experience with tlc my truck broke down, they got me towed to town and found a place for me to stay. Good people
Dont use TLC for heavy recoveries they have no clue what they are doing and when the owner shows up with his oxygen your price just trippled
Typical tow company taking advantage of everyone they can. Engine died in a car I was driving eastward on I70. Charged me $150 to tow my car 10 miles to their shop. Then charged me another $150 to do an engine compression test. For those of you who dont know what a compression test involves: you remove the ignition coils, and screw in the compression tester. Its about a 20 minutes task that anyone can do at home in their own garage. Id really like to know how a 20 minute job equates to $150 in labor. Thats equivalent to a $450/hour labor rate. After they told me my engine was bad (failed compression test) I was going to ship them a new engine (since I had paid to have it towed there already and they already diagnosed it). I found an engine on my own for $270 at a junkyard. I called to tell them I was going to ship in this engine and the owner, James, (a true joy to speak to on the phone, NOT) threw a huge temper tantrum because he wanted to get the engine for my car for the mere cost of $1500 (this is not including labor). But heres where it gets even better. I found out that the engine he was going to get was the EXACT SAME ENGINE I WAS GOING TO GET FROM THE EXACT SAME SALVAGE YARD. When I confronted him about this and told him to explain to me how the same $270 engine was $1500 if he had gotten it, his response was: well, we have to make some money on it. At this point, I didnt care anymore if it would be more expensive to have my car towed elsewhere and start the process all over again, which is exactly what I did. I shipped my car to Iowa, where I live and was on the way to when I broke down. I had the car fixed in Iowa for less than $1000 at a shop here. Oh, one more thing: I told these clowns to push my car outside and leave it alone because I didnt want them having anything to do with it anymore, but James took it upon himself to charge 6 more days of storage fees, even though my car was outdoors, unprotected. When my car got back to Iowa, the ignition coils they removed to do the compression test hadnt even been put back into the engine. (Ignition coils for this car are $80/coil at Advance Auto). Thanks for stealing them. Im pretty sure TLC stands for Taking Lotsa-ur Cash.Good people of eastern Colorado: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Ill reiterate: this is a typical towing company who think they have the right to rip you off!FWIW: If you do for some reason still want to take your vehicle to this awful place, make sure you ask for Greg. He is the only one that has a decent head on his shoulders.
Top class shop
This guys not good at all
Friendly and professional staff
Good people
If I could not give it a star if I write this, it is for all the Latino truck drivers who are on the road if by any chance they have a day to present the service of this place, I advise them not to do so it is preferable to pay for a crane to move them to Denver or to look for another place what the truth I think is the only workshop that is here in sterling because they are the most abusive people that exist in the United States I tell them from experience I will not go into details but to They charged me almost what a truck is worth, so my advice is to try not to do without their services
