I love this place. It has a perfect location in downtown Stillwater. Anytime I visit the historic town I always stop for a hand crafted latte and delicious bakery item that they make in house! And they have pens and notebooks and planners.... everything I ever need! I was looking for something specific and the manager was extremely friendly and helped me even though I thought my questions seemed silly. She showed me around and helped me decide on what to purchase. Love every part of this store!

Nice shop. Lots of space with great little crafty stuff. They serve a broad selection of beverages and pastries. I wasnt able to get the iced coffee I wanted as they hadnt prepared any, but that was fine with me. They also have several tables to sit at.

First off, lets set some things straight. Mara Mi is mainly a stationary/other little things store. They have an organized, trendy selection. The space is very large, and their design studio is upstairs (unaccessible to the public). To the side/front of the store is a coffee shop area with drinks and some treats, and their pastries and coffee are pretty good. The customer service at the coffee shop, though, was awful. The lady didnt smile once and was very rude. There were also crumbs/a dirty cleaning rag on one of the tables. Id still go back because this is the first negative experience Ive had there before. It used to be a lot nicer.

Such a cute cafe/store! Its a hybrid coffee/stationary place, and although different I thought it was adorable. Also, if you love paper and notebooks as much as me, youll like this place for the wide selection and truly boutique offering. I wouldnt spend a ton of time here but would go back for another notebook for sure!

Awesome shop with tons of really cool stationery and good snacking selections. However, they might have the most disrespectful staff I have ever seen. I’ve never been greeted with kindness once and they have a horrible attitude. I would go in more often if they hired some friendly employees that made me feel welcome.

Was shopping here with a friend on a not-so-busy Monday afternoon for trinkets and stationary items, which by the way they have a great selection. On the plus side it is very clean, aesthetically pleasing and is an organized space. However the staff is very off putting, no warm greeting, no assistance, no thank yous. Mind you, we were the only two in the store beside the employees. Got a few items but left feeling disappointed.

Its a high end stationary shop with a coffee bar. My wife and I ordered sodas and the poor barista looked harried. Place seemed understaffed for what it was. No one around to hock their wares and give us the nickel tour. Its a good concept, writing and coffee, but poorly executed. Ill take my own journals and find a hole in the wall coffee shop before coming here again.

I decided to stop by yesterday afternoon not knowing much about the store. I was pleasantly surprised to see all of the stationary they had available! I was a bit confused as to where to check out since there was no one around besides behind the cafe. I found a girl standing behind a large counter (did not look like a checkout) and asked if I was to check out my things at the cafe section. She replied very rudely by saying that I am obviously supposed to check out there since she was standing there.... she also added that she was unsure why I was so confused and she asked me to explain to her why I even had to ask. I have never been talked to like this ever and was not happy about it. At this point, I wanted to just say forget it and walk out. Super cute store, horrible staff.

This used to be a wonderful shop with beautiful stationary and a coffee shop to boot. Was just in and everything is way too trendy and it seems like it lost that cute boutique factor. Was extremely disappointed in product and store when it used to be one of my favorite places to shop.

Very poor customer service. Employee Was rude and acted like she didnt want to be there at all. Never smiled. Made us feel stupid when we were asking questions about the menu. No manners. And to top it off, we ordered pumpkin spice lattes that didnt taste like pumpkin at all, and were so bad we ended up pouring half of it out after trying to convince ourselves to keep drinking more. Overall very poor experience and a bad representation of Stillwater. It was a shame. Whats sad is Im not the person who would go out of there way to leave a review but it was that bad. 0 stars if possible

Great place to stop in for office/stationary products. From what I can tell, their suppliers are often small companies, some local, that you just dont see in every shop. They also have beautiful gifts and gift wrap.

Cute place, friendly staff. Youre surrounded with overpriced things to buy but its comfortable!The picture I posted is of one of the two handicap accessible bathrooms -- except theyre not! The towel dispensers were too high even for me, and in the mens room the soap dispenser is also above that tile line. Ours was empty on the sink but at least reachable.

The retail checkout person was helpful. They have a nice supply of notebooks and journals. The teens/college students at the cafe/coffee shop not so helpful. The girl at the counter was rude and didnt smile once. Were not hard to please but it was a chore to her to take our order.

Mari Mi is a great place to get a cup of coffee, tea or even ice cream. They have a good selection of stationary, cards, and some gift items. In the summer, its always nice to get ice cream at the shop.

This is a super cute store that has stationary, journals, calendars, art and more. Great prices too! Plus the cafe with cupcakes and coffee is a fun little treat while you browse.

Ordered 36 cupcakes for a shower I was hosting. Ordering was a breeze and they were packaged up nicely and ready to go when we arrived. The cupcakes were delicious and almost too pretty to eat. They came in fun, unique flavors. Will deffinately order from Mara-Mi again!

Such an adorable store!!!! Very reasonably priced! Love it!! The coffee section is close to horrible for service and flavor of lattes. Disappointing. Waited for 15 minutes for my latte and then it tasted so bad I threw it away.

I only got a tai bubble tea here, however I was a bit let down by it. Overly sweet with kind of soggy tapioca bubbles. This is not the main reason people come here though. I did not try them just because I am not a sweets person, but the cupcakes and cakes looked beautiful.

I go to this store every time I am in Stillwater. It is so cute and has some really kitsch items. I got some awesome notebooks for different people. I could basically find something to match all of my friends personalities, which can be dangerous! Some things are on the expensive side for what they are, but other things are reasonably priced. If youre looking for a cool notebook or office supples to show your personality, instead of just regular lined note books and planners, then this is the place to go. Be prepared to spend more than you think or wanted. I ordered a brewed coffee from here and found it to be average at best. It was a little bitter and burnt, like it had been around for awhile. I got a latte a separate time, and it was average. If you need something to drink or eat, its ok, just dont expect to be amazed.

Im a bit confused as to what this place is. Its a studio, but also a coffee shop. They sell stationary, but they also sell cooking utensils along the wall. Hmm, not sure whats going on here. The space is also very large. If there werent a lot of people milling about, it would be an awkward place, especially for agoraphobes.

Absolutely love this shop. One of my favorites in Stillwater. They have everything, even coffee and treats!

This store and café is such a fun place to walk around and look at all the neat stuff. They even sell Izzys ice cream from Minneapolis (at a lower price than the Izzys store as well!).

The customer service wasnt great but the shop was pretty cool. Id go back but maybe not get anything from the cafe part.

Everything is over priced. I had a small child ice cream cone that cost $4.25 and I got two bites of ice cream out of it. Ill go to Nelsons Drive In for a ice cream cone next time.
