I asked to have two new tires put in my vehicle which totaled over $450.00. I gave the service manager my key and sat down in the lobby area. 45 minutes later I got up to see if my vehicle was in the bay and it wasn’t. I waited another 30 minutes and got up again to see they had placed my vehicle on a lift and removed the back tires. After waiting and watching the service manager and a couple of his employees laughing, talking, and looking at their cell phones another hour past. I finally made contact with the service manager and told him to put my old tires back on my car and that I would take my business elsewhere. It took the service manager 5 minutes to put my tires back on my vehicle. Furthermore, while sitting in the lobby for over 2.5 hours I overheard the Manager complaining and making derogatory statements about customers who were calling in with questions. Buyers beware DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this place!!
I called for an oil change on a Saturday with my air filter to be replaced. I was told they did not have many appointments scheduled and to come in and they could get it taken care of. I arrived 30 minutes later and their parking lot was FULL and it did not look as if they did not have many appointments. I found a spot and walked inside just to be told they may not have the oil my car needs because of a shortage. They were not able to get me seen because their shipment did not come when it was supposed to and it may not be in until Monday or later. I understand they cant control the shipment and that was out of their hands. I dont understand why that wasnt communicated to me on the phone when I called. There needs to be better communication and honesty with services they can and cant do.
Unbelievable that I can literally count 10 times I have called up to the store and asked for pricing on tires, 4 calls,,, service pricing, inspections costs, labor questions and not gotten one single answer, call back, I was desperately trying to get my account set up for alignments for my shop when we do front end work,, nothing,,, Ill send my customers vehicles somewhere else,, I walked in the door and overheard the customers can go f%%# off,, so I turned my bubbley self around and bought a tire machine Ill never ever use this place for anything
I came in on Saturday with my engine overheating and was quoted $100-200 to fix the problem. Then, I was told I would only need to pay $30-40 for the part I needed & it would be pro bono. After not receiving a call to pick up my car all day Sunday when I was told to expect a call, I called the store & was met with a new quote of $508 & told my car has not been touched. Then I was told that my car would be done “first thing in the morning” Monday, to which I was met with no call & took it upon myself to call at 1pm. The worker re-explained the charges & then asked me if I wanted to have my car (that’s not drivable without repair) fixed after I had already had the exact discussion the day before & had agreed to the price. Now, I am another day without a car & since I am set to move out of state in 2 days, another day wasted waiting for what was suppose to be done “first thing in the morning.” I understand the short staffing & trouble with time, but the consistent miscommunication is a no for me.
Great service! Great prices!
Avoid at all cost! Seriously, I would even take my car to Walmart before taking it here! I took my car in at 8am with a screw in the tire. I was told it would take “a few hours.” At noon I called for an update and was told “another hour and a half max.” 4pm “it is in the garage now, shouldn’t take long. At 5pm, I decided to go in person. Nobody was working on my car yet. I was told they were about to start and it would take 30 minutes. It is 5:30pm now and I am still waiting. Take your vehicle anywhere else!
I would not recommend! I set an appointment and took my car in for a simple oil change. I sat there for 2 hours, and my car hadnt even been touched yet. While I was waiting I listened to the mechanics talk to their girlfriends loudly and crudely. They were not operating with any sense of urgency or consideration for their customers. Needs better management.
Great crew. They were able to help us fast and hassle free.
Services are less expensive in general but this is detrimental to quality.DENT ON THE SIDE OF MY CAR, LATE TO GET MY CAR (although they had 7 hours to do it) AND NOT THE TIRES THEY SAID THEY WOULD PUT ON.Details:The staff was extremely polite and professional but they were extremely busy. They were in a constant rush. All of them.I went there for 4 new tires. Scheduled an appointment 7 calendar days before because they needed to order the tires but they were not delivered on time. No problem, the store manager proposed other tires (Bridgestone, more expensive) for the same price. I gave my car at 9am and said they had until 4pm but guess what, I called at 3.40, they told me they were working on it at that time. Got a call 10 minutes after to propose an alignment and I was okay with them doing it.With no news from them, decided to go, arrived at 4.30pm. Waited in the line (3 other clients in front of me), and the guy tells me that the alignment was not done yet. I decided to get my car without the alignment; I needed it, my car was there for almost 8 hours. At that time, I am told that other tires were put on my car but it was similar... they were very busy and did not want to make a big deal. It was Firestone tires which was the brand I paid for but did not get any details on what the tires were.Got my key, checked the tires and I saw a new small but deep white dent on the side of my car. Unfortunately I already had a dent approx. 8 inches below (not the same type, you clearly can see it was not done by the same thing) and the store manager told me there was no proof it was them who did this white dent and they have marked this area as already dented at check in. Obviously it was marked as already dented as I already had another type of dent 8 inches below. He refused to admit they did it and as I cannot prove it, he proposed to help with a discount at a specific auto body part but as a courtesy because he maintains it is not from them and that anyway, I already had a dent so why do I make a big deal about it, right? So now, here we are, 12 days later, got a quote from the designated auto body part and still no proposal to repair that dent. Hopefully something acceptable is coming and I can update that review and say that they took care of it. Hopefully...Update: after a lot of time spent with them to try to answer their questions, they finally DENIED THE CLAIM AS I CANNOT PROVE THE DENT OCCURED WHILE AT FIRESTONE. So if you leave your car in this shop, make sure you verify your car with them and ask for a copy of the paper they have to fill out at check in.Never ever again I will require services from Firestone.
I came in to have my damaged tire inspected on May 22nd. Tire couldnt be fixed. This took most of the day. I was told I needed 2 new tires and they would be there in one week. Here we are 21 days later and no tires. I was given the runaround more than once and I had to call several times being that no one called me about any of the supposed problems or delays they were having. I got a brand new answer everytime I called My husband took my car to Walmart today; new tire and done in about an hour. Im rating one extra star here because no one was rude. But they dropped the ball big time. Very disappointed
Very friendly and good service. Very busy place.
While I understand that the Firestone corporate office sets rates for parts, it still is outrageous how much this shop tried to upcharge me for parts. The most glaringly obvious price gouging was the spark plugs. Firestone quoted me at $47 PER PLUG. And thats without the additional 81 dollars in labor for the actual replacement. At minimum, Firestone is adding 120% to the cost of every part they sell. If that isnt dishonest and price-gouging, I dont know what is.
Had a appointment for a tire rotation and realignment and a oil change. They only did the oil change and didn’t do the rotation and realignment. and it still took over 2 hours for me to hear anything. I had to call them to ask them for an update on my car and they told me they didn’t do my rotation or realignment. They said my tire tread was too low for them to do it.?? I have never been told that especially YEARS ago when I did need new tires but didn’t have the money right then and there and they still did my rotation... however that was at hibdon... guess I’ll continue to have my servicing done on my tires at hibdon because they have never given me any issues. I’m extremely frustrated by the lack of communication and the lack of work done on my car. I’m extremely frustrated on this fact because I know these places try to target people like me. They tried to get a family before me to get new tires as well but his were perfectly fine as my boyfriend overheard the entire conversation and has done all the work on his cars and gave the guy some advice after he had left the desk. He was astonished at the fact that they tried to target me for the simplest ways of...1. I’m female2. I’m 21 years old3. I look like I don’t know carsAnd to continue my boyfriend looked at my tires with the EMPLOYEE and said “your tires are perfectly fine and safe... I have never heard of a place not doing what they market to do” and the employee responded with “I have never seen this brand of tires before... you need new ones...”I will NEVER return here...
I suffer from severe asthma that leaves me unable to wear a mask and they forced me to stand in the rain due to that. Never again will I use this company. Kwik Car down the road was cheaper and didnt try to force me to do something that is a danger to my health.
I have always had excellent experiences here. I’ve even brought my vehicle in for new tires & was suggested to wait because my tires were still ok & had some life left in them. That’s honesty! Loyal customer here!
Purchased a lifetime alignment from them because of the value of a lifetime v a local shop at the time of purchase. Scheduled my second appointment come in with a second person to get a ride and am informed their new machine will not fit my truck but I can drive an hour away to another store. Would not work on fixing the issue in town today but offered a partial refund for the service. Still does get the truck aligned.
Very professional, friendly. They didnt try to upsale me when I told them what I wanted. The wating area was clean(restroom also). Work was done at the appointed time.
Had fantastic experience here today! I was headed to work when my low tire pressure light came on so I brought my car here to have it checked. I had been procrastinating on replacing my rear tires that desperately need to be replaced. I decided to go ahead and get them both replaced today. Brody was so nice and professional and Ryan had me out of there in no time! Thanks guys!
The staff upfront is always so professional. They seem to always be busy, but they do there best to take of everyone’s issues.
I had a lot of work done on my vehicle a week and a half ago and the check engine light keeps coming on and they are having problems figuring out exactly why it is coming on every two or three days. Hopefully, Monday I will have the answers
Took my Prius in for an oil change, car died on the highway leaving the shop. Towed me back, tried again, couldn’t fix what they broke, so gave me a refund and towed me to Janzen to fix it.Manager on duty was rude, and repeatedly told me my car was “running funny” when they moved it for the oil change.Janzen fixed the issue like it was nothing, only charged me the diagnostic $65.Maybe they don’t know how to work on Priuses, it’s a weird car, sure. But the rudeness and rushed quality to their work makes me rate one star — *I* was condescended to about *my* car for *their* mistakes. So silly
Kept my friends car for a week because they messed up the oil change. Shared no details. Tried to scam another friend by fixing a part on her car that didnt exist. Do not use this place.
Got here 2 hours before they close and the gentleman let me know that there were cars ahead of mine and asked if I could come back because they might not be able to get to it. I’ve been trying to make time for 4 months and my schedule just doesn’t allow me to get anywhere before it’s closed. I said I’d wait and hope for the best. I just saw my car go back, and I can’t tell you the relief I feel. I had to drive to Stillwater from Cushing because everything was already closed there and this place was the last open in Stillwater. Thank you guys so much for the service and getting my car in. Such a little thing relieved a lot of stress for me today.
Took my wifes vehicle in for new tires and an inspection because we are about to take a trip. After waiting 3 and a half hours shopping around town, I returned to Firestone to be told that the vehicle needed upper and lower ball joints. I told them I wanted to see it on the lift and how much play they had so they put it on the lift, and without inviting me to come look at it they returned to tell me nevermind that the ball joins didnt have as much play as they thought, and if they had to put it in scale terms that it would be a 2/10. After avoiding the unnecessarycharge we went home thinking the drive felt funny, but thought it was just new tires causing us to feel the bumps in the road. Next morning one of the tores was completely flat. Called and they said we declined the road hazard warranty which we were not offered. After waiting for 2 days to be in touch with a manager we were ableto get the tire replaced as the other had a piece of saw blade in, and was not repairable which i believe came from the service shopafter pulling it back in to show me the ball joints. Anyways another almost 200 to purchase a roadhazard warranty and the tore was replaced. But the service tech forgot to put the spare back onthevehicle, made one last trip and a 2 hour wait to have the spare returned to the vehicle and that will be my last trip to Firestone. Much rather pay slightly more at direct discount tires and know that it is done correctly and professionally.
I purchased a Firestone lifetime wheel alignment warranty for my car in Nevada, but here they said I only had a one year alignment warranty. Came in anyway and waited an hour before being told they were unable to do my alignment due to loose tie rods and not having the tools for my Honda element. Yet they were able to tighten my driver side tie rod. Dissmively told how much work needs to be done to my car and told to go to the dealer. Extremely disappointed in their warranty service and execution. Seemed as if they did not want to honor the warranty deal
They always take good care of me and my family.
I’ve had a pretty bad experience. I’ve spent around $1000 in over a year with them. My car drives and runs s**t!
Would give 0 out of five if it was possible. They charged me $125 to inspect my vehicle with no work done. Fire stone is car repair company that scams their customers.
My husband went there to get our oil changed. We usually do it ourselves but had gotten busy and decided to take it in. He got there when they opened at 7...doors were locked. He waited about 20 min and decided to check the sign again thinking maybe he mis read it. The man inside started turning the lights on he acted put out that he was there. Told him they don’t change oil on Sunday and Monday. Maybe they don’t but the lack of customer service we will absolutely take our business else where.
Got a great deal on a set of 4 new tires. The service was second to none. The store was clean and the employees were friendly and most helpful. I for one will be back.
Had a tire fixed here and they were very friendly and very fast. Highly recommend for any auto care need.
DO NOT GO HERE - GO TO DISCOUNT TIRE ON 6th and MAIN!!! I scheduled an appointment to come to firestone days in advance. I had my tires shipped directly from TireRack to their store location - they lost the tires twice. When I made my appointment to have the tires mounted, I told them the make and model of my vehicle and that I wanted two new tires mounted on the front. It wasn’t until I got there that they tried to scam me - classic bait and hook tactic. They insisted that there was a policy made by the manufacturer of my car that only two tires could not be put on - it had to be four. So then they tried to get me to buy two new tires (which would’ve been a cost starting at $600.) I knew this was a lie because even the dealership for my car has put on only two at a time. After all, it’s my vehicle. Not the manufacturers, not anymore. So I tried to explain to them I understand there is a difference in the tread, but two of my tires do not need to be replaced yet so I’m not buying them now. They refused. So I asked them to give me my tires. Then they wouldn’t even help me load them in my car (I am a petite young woman, and was wearing a dress and heels.) I had to do it myself in front of all of them. Then, I called discount. They were much more polite (every single employee I interacted with was old-fashioned country kind). They were faster (less than an hour to get my car in service and to get it out). And they were about 35% cheaper.
Fire stone did a excellent job with my granddaughters car they were fast and accommodating she’s a student at OSU really treat their students well she will bring her car back there again thank you for taking good care of my grand daughters
Showed up today 20 minutes early for their 9 a.m. opening for a flat repair. I was one of six people waiting outside in the heat, a few had appointments. 30 minutes after 9am and no one ever showed up to open the store. I called the corporate number and all they told me was they could direct me to the next nearest store which was 65 miles away. This is not my first terrible experience at this Firestone, but it will be my last. A month-and-a-half ago I ordered a set of tires that the manager forgot to order. Made an appointment for the next week and they forgot to pick them up. Had to make a third appointment and had to wait forever because they thought they had sold them to someone else that morning. After 3 weeks of having to make appointments and take off time from work to get these tires sorted out I then got overcharged. When I questioned it they said it was because I had tire pressure sensors in my tires. First off, I dont, its an old truck. Secondly, that shouldnt make a difference for them to just put on a set of tires. They were charging me $15 extra per tire on top of all the other fees. I did a price quote before this online and they had overshot it by almost $150. Pathetic ripoff of a business!
Quuck in and out, id highly recommended them, ill be back
Made an appointment for oil change and brake inspection, the young female rep almost costed me 3 trips within a week, 1st day told me my appointment was double booked, 2nd day told me they were short staffed, even the tech nearby couldnt bear to hear anymore and willing to do the brake check for me. The girl still wanted me to come back next day cause she already sealed the ticket, too lazy to open a new one which only took her few seconds. Visit every year for oil change since I started school at OSU, didnt feel much until I decided to write this review and surprised to see so many negative feedback! I understand now is tough time for everyone, but they really could have done better to make it safer and more efficient for customers, just make good use of the online appointment system and organize tasks before they reject customer on site! Repeatedly!
Store opens at 7 but mechanics don’t come in until 8. It has now been 2.5 hours since mechanics arrived and still waiting on an oil change to be done. This is insane!
Would never go here again went for alignment was told 30 minute wait took 3hrs had to ask them what was the hold up waited another 45 before they even put it on the rack wouldnt recommend this place
Our car broke down. Alternator went out. They had to order two to get one that worked. Was in our hotel 3 days but, they got it fixed right and we continued on our way. They did a good job.
Definitely an amazing place! The employees are very down to earth, and they work hard on peoples vehicles. I am extremely thankful for the work that they do, and will continue to use their services in the future!
I called trying to see how much my rotors would be to replace as I set an appointment with CarAdvise and they gave me a price. I was just calling to confirm and see if they had a different price and was informed they need to inspect my vehicle before they can tell me how much rotors will cost. The rep couldn’t pull up my appointment or tell me any information regarding to my appointment. I will be going in this Tuesday to have my vehicle brakes “appraised” and we will see how that goes then. As of right now I WOULD NOT recommend this place to anyone. Seeing as how I know the year, make, and model of my vehicle they should know the process and the price of replacing the rotors. Daren I think his name was was extremely unprofessional and this now makes my second issue with Firestone. The first issue I had my oil changed and they gave me regular oil instead of full synthetic and I noticed from the sticker after and called; they apologized for the issue and drained the incorrect oil and put the right oil (they should have used in the first place) in my engine. This location is extremely unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend anyone here due to my current and previous experiences.
I took my car in to see if they could repair it which they could not so before they replaced the tire I was asked if I wanted to do so, that was nice. I was given a pro-rated discount because I surpassed the 3 year warranty and I really appreciated that. I had many questions not related to that specific trip and the woman at the counter was happy to answer all of my questions. The replacement was fast and it was nice and cool in the inside.
They did a great job on my oil change. I arrived at 8am and finished by 8:30am.
Made an online appointment to get new tires, five days out, get there and they sold the tires I ordered but couldn’t call and tell me before my appointment of the situation. I was told they ordered four more and to come back in two days. They called me two days later and said my tires were there. I drove the 40 miles back, waited 35 minutes and then was told they only had one of the four tires and they would need to order three more. Two round trips of 80 miles each for nothing. This is supposed to be a tire store. The customer service techs were nice and friendly, that was the only part of my experience that was worth anything.
I scheduled an appointment a few days out and got an email saying my appointment request was received. I was told to wait to get confirmation for my appointment. Well, that never happened and the day of the appointment I had to call and be told that “we’ve been busy, and probably can squeeze you in if you wait around”. I decided not to take the chance of waiting there for hours. I’ll go see how Kwik Kar handles business.
Very knowledgeable and doesnt try to oversell
O call the day before going to get a tire for my car during my phone call i made an appoint to have a new tire they told me to come at 10 am. They said they didnt have me Im the computer and they could not get to it for like three hrs . I live 45 min away. So i told them just to do a carry out. I am on oxygen and my tank. Only lasts so long and thats is why i needed an appointment. SO NOT HAPPY WITH THE STILLWATER STORE and they are not very friendly
These folks stayed well past closing time to finish my repair. Couldnt have been nicer about it. Ive always had a great experience with this shop. Highly recommend them.
Called and asked if they were open today and they said yes. After driving all the way there the young girl asked if I had an appointment and then turned me away when I told them I didnt. THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD TO KNOW WHENEVER I CALLED AND ASKED IF THEY WERE OPEN BEFORE I DROVE ALL THE WAY THERE!!!
Definitely call ahead as hours on website said they were open but when we got there they were closed
Took 3 1/2 hours to get an oil change despite having an appointment. they also didnt fix my brakes despite asking them several times if they could check them out. every time I bring my vehicle here Im disappointed without fail. Ill add a star for friendly customer service, but besides for that, I cant recommend this place to anyone based on my experiences.
Good honest store, the GM took my concerns seriously and they did a great job with my AC recharge service. I would recommend and will be back again with my wifes car.
To say the least they seem understaffed right now. If Walmart had been open I would have gone there for full synthetic oil changed since they are at max 58$. I paid 97$ for full synthetic here which is on the high end. My appointment was set for 12pm yet I wasnt seen till about 12:20pm. The hours for the shop have changed due to covid they close at 1pm now. Employees arent wearing masks and the waiting room is small and confined. I think changing oil myself would have be less of a wait/less expense.
Worst experience that I have had. The guy I have dealt with is super nice but we originally went in for new tires and called and told us that we would need new brakes and rotors. Husband told them to hold off on rotors due to our finances but placed the rotors on without our permission. He told us they went ahead and replaced them since he didnt hear back from us which cost us more money than we had planned. Called a few days later because my brakes were squealing while coasting not even touching the brakes. They said that there was a piece rubbing causing it to squeal and that it should be fixed. Well then the next few days noticed squealing brought it back they told me it was a rock wedged between the brakes and brake pad and that that slammed on the brakes and the rock came out and that it should be fine. Monday notice squealing yet again call them they say bring it in for brake inspection. They notify us to tell us that the brake caliper is broke and needs to be replaced and that it is going to cost $439 ! Never had issues with my brakes or the system until coming to Firestone! This issue needs to be resolved!
Nice but .......
TERRIBLE!!! Had appointment they couldnt honor and didnt even seem to care.
We took our car in to get an alignment, and was declined service due to tie rods being loose, not broken, just loose. They then charged us for an inspection, which wouldn’t be a problem if they actually ran a full inspection, which they didn’t. The only thing that they checked was the tire rods, which they have to check before they can do the alignment and noted that there was leaking going on in the engine, but it was just excess oil that we had put in the car earlier that day. I was really disappointed about the service that we had, and a little upset that they charged me for something they didn’t really do. I would not recommend this Firestone.
Ive to the shop in Stillwater and theyre always very helpful and polite specially the two ladies that work there, Servise is quick in and out, I recommend this location.
Called ahead for an oil change and made an appt. Had to wait 90 minutes just to get my car in. If you dont honor appointments, dont schedule any!
I’d like to start by saying that this is not the first place I would normally come for a tire repair, but there aren’t very many options on the Saturday afternoon before New Year’s Eve in Stillwater. So when my I saw a nail in my tire I decided to bring it here to get it patched. They said the nail was too close to the sidewall to repair, which I definitely understand. I know they are bound by rules and I don’t blame them for that. They offered to put the spare on or said I could buy a new tire. I have a good relationship with the person I buy my tires from so I told them to go ahead and put the spare on. They called me shortly after and said that the gears were stripped on the device that runs the spare cable down, so they couldn’t get my spare off of the truck. This left me with two options: driving three hours on a nail or buy a new tire from them. I was prepared to buy a new tire, but first decided to leave I and see if I could figure out what’s wrong with the spare. I got the tire kit that comes with the truck out (which I’ve used to change too many flats on this vehicle), and was able to run the spare down as easy as I ever have. There wasn’t anything wrong with the spare cable device in the slightest. This naturally makes you wonder how a shop full of mechanics couldn’t get a spare down, and someone with no mechanical training could. I believe they wanted to sell me a new tire more than they wanted to get the spare down. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.
Bought 4 new tires, just before moving from Ca to Kansas from Firestone. Figured if warranty service was necessary. I could take it anywhere. The woman on phone got warranty info fairly quickly but never asked my location to determine which sme closer. 2 hours later I arrived only to tell me they would not warranty tire because tire was improperly Balanced. Mind you they did the balancing. I do not nor will I ever recommend or use them ever.
I’ve been bringing my cars here for the last two years or so and every time is so easy and stress-free. Today I came in for an oil change and the rep who helped me applied a coupon code for me before I could even ask her about it! Very happy with the service, wait time, and pricing.
I have been bringing my van here for seven years. The oil changes are truly as quick as they advertise, and the tire service is good too. They are also good about keeping me informed about the recommended maintenance schedule for my specific vehicle.Over the years, I have had to bring my (now, aging) van in for much bigger / more expensive problems -- fuel pump, timing belt, etc., and they repaired those problems without incident.Recently, the A/C went out in my van. I had Firestone do an initial check, but the price quote for their recommendation was high enough that I sought a second opinion. The other place repaired it for much less; it was a much more simple repair that the Firestone technicians somehow missed. I had questions about Firestones troubleshooting techniques, and I brought them up with the manager of Firestone. Even though they didnt service my A/C, he worked with me to make it right. In summary -- They will do good. If you encounter issues and have any questions, let them know. They will work with you.
Some of the nicest staff around! ;) with a little patience in the waiting room the service is definitely worth it! I recommend to everyone within driving distance!!
It took three weeks to get a set of tires ordered
Terrible coordination ! ! ! Made an appointment on line, went to the store, told the appointment was taken, while clerk could see my appointment from her end. Never received from Firestone about neither denial nor confirmation of the appointment ? ! If the time slot is taken, at least make it gray and unable to click ! !
Honest, Trustworthy & Efficient!!😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤🛻🚙🚗🚘
By far the worst experience i’ve ever had. About a month ago I brought in my car and told them what i thought the issue was and they ignored it saying they’d never heard of the issue then the issue occurred again and i brought it back in, turns out it was the same part i said i needed a month ago. I was told on Tuesday that my part would be there at the end of the day, no part by the end of the day and was told it’d arrive wednesday, still no part. Finally it arrived Thursday. I brought it in at 9:30am and was out at 11:30 which was nice but they tried to charge me an absurd amount for the part, almost 3x market value. After finally getting them to cut down the price to list price I left at 2:45pm. A month of stress. The only person who seems to know what they’re talking about and is actually genuine is Drew one of their Mechanics. My advice is stay far away.
I love Firestone in Stillwater. Ive taken my truck there for the past 10 years. They have never screwed me once. Of course they are a little pricey but well worth it in my opinion. They always let you know if something needs replaced even if it would be a year from then. As a matter of fact, Im a hands on guy myself and know cars to an extent, but Ill take it to them to have them check it out even if I know whats wrong just to see. Every time they figure it out. And only for 20 bucks. And why would I waste 20 bucks to have them figure it out, even though I know. Well, sometimes I dont know. But Ive built a pretty big trust in them, so when they tell me whats wrong Ill go buy the part and fix it myself if I can, to save money. They know that. And if I cant, I have them fix it. Another thing I love is that its always the same faces in there. Makes a person feel good. Anyways, I love Firestone. I seriously cant say one bad thing about them even after 10 years.
Great place for tires and general car care. Have done business for many years with them. Friendly and helpful group of people and I will continue to do business with them.
Worst experience that I have ever had. Do not recommend! We have been back 3 times to have brakes checked since replacing them not even a month ago and now are wanting to charge another almost 500 bucks for an issue that started after they changed the brakes and rotors. Each time we went in to have them do another inspection they would say there was a extra piece on the brake that was rubbing and causing the squealing. 2nd time was there was a piece if gravel caught between the brake and brake pad and now they are saying that the Caliper needs to be replaced which will cost $439. Had no issues with my car before this.
I live in Edmond, Ok. I came to Stillwater today to visit my mom. After unloading items from my car, I noticed that I had a flat. I jacked up the car and removed the wheel. I cleaned it and placed it in the back of my mothers SUV and drove to the local Firestone Complete Auto Care on Perkins Rd around 2 PM. I walked in the lobby explained my problem and the young female said she could make me an appointment for Wednesday. As you probably figured this out that would not help my situation. I didnt want to drive home on my donut spare tire. I went to the Direct Discount Tire Store on 6th Street and Main. I was greeted by the Shop Manager and I explain my problem. He looked at my tire and said it was ruined. He said he had a used tire that he could put on my car and when I got my new tire from my regular tire store I could just bring his tire back. (Maybe took him 5 minutes) Oh, NO CHARGE!!! Thank you Direct Discount Tire Store in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Excellent customer service. I will not recommend Firestone as they do not care!
Only ever had oil change service here, but it was always a pleasant experience. The price is right, and they always did very good and quick work. Have recommended them numerous times. Will definitely never go back to walmart for a 6-hour oil change as long as these guys are right across the road.
Bad experience ever first and last time dealing with them. They waste my time for two days for just a tire replacement. I ordered a tire and it’s supposed to be delivered in one day but forced me to come to their office for two days leaving my car for more than two hours for nothing and the excuse if that they didn’t received the shipment yet and they don’t told me that when I leave my car. They make me wait for long time then they realized that the tires have not been received yet. They did that to me twice, super unprofessional!!!
They did work after our hitting a huge pothole. They did NOT do an alignment or even check the upper/lower balljoints, which I asked them numerous times to do since there is a lot of traveling involved. Their lack of and negligence caused both front tires to have wire showing, within a month and a half..2 NEW Sets of TIRES! Firestone refuses to take responsibility and blame the extended warranty company..which is quite comical since the warranty company didnt even look at the vehicle. Their lack of doing the correct, ethical and honest work, caused the warranty company to not cover the work needed shortly after.. The warranty company and Firestone are both blaming the other. I talked to a lawyer who said Firestone was 100% negligent and put our lives at risk, because they did not want to take the time and do the job correctly, but sure wanted to grab that money!!! Amy lies and doesnt check out anything. After replacing 2 tires and 2 rims due to damage from a huge pothole. She did not check for any other damages or normal wear and tear..which every other Firestone place told me they do.She let the vehicle go with a bad balljoints and the tires wore out within a month. Got new tires and they also wore out in a few weeks..finally someone noticed it was worn..which did NOT happen in a month and a half. She does shoddy work.Make the trip to Tulsa..at least they will take care of you right.
Great place to take your car...I took my car in for an alignment an they checked other things that was needed i had no idea even occurred...got the part order asap.. called me a few hours before it came in to advice me it would be in an when would be a good time to set appointment...got it back in an out fast thanks Firestone team
Seriously such quick and honest service. They were done within 20 minutes of bringing my car in (with an appointment) and helped to save me money rather than trying to get me to spend more on unnecessary repairs. These guys were so awesome!
At the very least the people who work the front desk have a personality on par with the grey carpet in the waiting area. Their intelligence is reminiscent of tree moss growing mindlessly in the forest. This is a fantastic place to go if you dont care about your car and or dont know anything about your car. This is due to the fact that they will upsell you on everything, so without you even knowing your car will get tons of unneeded upgrades. Furthermore the gentleman running the front desk only has one good line something something we can only set to factory. I suppose the machines that alter the suspension geometries of these cars are really secretly robotic overlords that control him, rendering him a pawn in their scheme to return all cars to factory settings. I suppose since I paid $200 for a lifetime of alignments I shouldnt have expected more than individuals working on my car whose only experience comes from an instructional video produced in 1993.In summary. Great place to go if you enjoy feeling smart and better about yourself and the position you occupy in life.
Felt very much taken advantage of. Visiting Stillwater and had a spark plug and coil go bad. Brought vehicle in and asked to check and change spark plug. The ran a diagnostic that cost $100 then said to change a coil and spark plugs it would cost just over $1000. After haggling on what we needed done the price came down to $400, which quickly jumped up to $700 because a number of inconvienances for them to reach the spark plugs. Shortly after the new price crept up to over $800.I would recommend you look elsewhere or come prepared knowing exactly what you need and what it will cost before they create mechanical issues on your vehicle to run the price all over the place.
Customer responsiveness was alright, and service was... different. Compared to every other Firestone Ive been to, they took their time talking with other employees before seeing what I needed. For my oil change, they drove my car next door... I dont know why, but it was a different companys service station. Ill probably go to the other place (Express Lube) instead of back here again to cut out the middle man...
Amazing customer service!!I went in because one of my tires was very low and I thought it had a hole. They discovered it did not have a hole and they fixed the tire pressure in all of the tires for me. Thankful they helped fix my problem and save me money!
Don’t come here for a flat! Period.
Took my wife’s car in on Thursday to get a flat fixed they were busy and said come back tomorrow went back Friday still to busy for me. Went back today first thing on Monday left the car this time 6 hours later and they still haven’t got to my wife’s car. I bought the tires at firestone and they don’t have time for me. Picked the car up and will go somewhere else. DO NOT USE FIRESTONE IN STILLWATER. I couldn’t give zero stars.
Horrible job!!! I asked for brake change, tires rotated, oil change and a leaking valve stem replaced.... I received an oil change. Got the truck back with 3 low tires. They did call and explain that they couldn’t rotate due too tread being low is about the only credit I can give them..
Do not go to this place if you have a choice. My tire had a nail in it about 2 weekends ago. They told me that two of my studs and bolts were cross-threaded. They needed to replace it. Then they continued to tell me that my brake housing had to come out for my car model and had to charge me a full brake service fee. Ever since they touched my brake, I have had an ABS light on. I wanted them to take a look at it, the first time they said they couldnt even get the ABS service light to go off after I told them that it goes off after hitting 10 MPH.Today, my other tire had a nail in it. I decided to go back there so that they could take a look at my ABS sensor, thinking maybe they missed something. They just looked at my sensor to see if it was on. I was really hoping to have them check if it was loose or not. Also my other tire, they told me that they couldnt repair it and told me they could put my spare on for free. It was around 6:30 PM and they close at 7PM and wanted to go. They didnt offer to sell me a new tire until I asked, do you not carry that size tire? Then, he told me what they had. They charged me with a life time balance fee which is mandatory. It was about $15 extra. And they say that the benefit was that I get $5 off on my one tire I got from them for the tire rotation for life. Why is this mandatory? It should be an option. After my tire was finally installed, my low pressure sensor for the tire was on. They told me that after five miles of driving, the sensor should go off. I told them that it was not the case the last time. They told me they can turn it off for me if I wanted. So they tried and it came back on right away but I couldnt ask them to take a look at it because they were rushing to close the door. I came home and checked my tire pressure and it had low pressure, about 10 psi below the recommendation. That is why the light was on.I just wanted to get my tire done this evening so that I wouldnt have to get it done the next morning. I should have gone somewhere else the next day and took their offer to put my spare on since they did not want my business. This is how business becomes when they put themselves before their customers needs. You do not matter as a customer here. You are just another number.Thank you for reading my review.
Just save your self time and go to Pioneer tire. Huge waste of time... there’s too much corporate red tape for them to actually do anything to your car. They prefer to just sell you their brand of tire and send you on your way.
Come here as a last resort. They will overcharge you for everything they possibly can.
Too bad there is no place to register a no stars listing because the service I received earned exactly that. I had a confirmed appointment for 11:00 a.m. July 29, 2019. I arrived at 10:50 to check in and was asked if I was going to leave my truck. I told them no. At that they told me it would be at least 2 hrs. for them to get around to my 11am appointment! Needless to say I didnt wait and probably wont be returning. Too bad, I would HAVE been spending at least $800.00 there within the next week.
Little bit pricey but the have a good service.
I spent over $500 for 2 tires only to find they had to put 9 pounds of weight on one of them to get it to kind of balanced. Anyone who shops here beware. I personally will never use them again.
Arrives 10 minutes early for an appointment to have four tires installed and oil changed.Total time: 3 hours and 45 minutes. 2 hours of that was on the car lift with one tire off.
Five stars!! We are long-time Firestone customers, and once again, we were not disappointed. Thank you, Brendan, and the staff for excellent customer service!
The manager Chris deserves fired from the comments Ive read and am about to leave. Got there at 6pm door said they close at 7. Manager (Chris) told me they were closed and when I pointed to the sign with the hours he called them suggested shop hours and told me he was short staffed for the day having 3-4 other employees sitting in the waiting area with him. When I expressed I only needed an oil change he told me that they are closed and I can do it myself if Id like hed open up a bay for me. He then handed me a card with his name on it and said hed make a note of me being there. (telling me to complain) I emailed corporate and they emailed me back asking for personal information and they never got back to me or made me feel any better about the service I was given.
This Firestone is a complete joke, dont waste your time or money! I had a window regulator go out in my car. I had this same exact problem about two years ago and fixed it for a little over $200. I came into Firestone and told them what was wrong and asked them how much it would cost to fix it. He told me it would be $100 flat to look at it plus parts I told him I knew it was the window regulator and asked him how much that would cost if it turnes out to be that? He said hed have to look at it in order to give me a for sure answer. After looking at it for 5 minutes and confirming that I was right, he tells me its going to be $460 to fix it. At this point I was stuck in between a rock and a hard place - he had demanded to look at it so I had to give him $100 no matter what. After I griped at him for trying to screw me over he offered to let the $100 examination fee also go towards the total cost of the repair. So by the time I paid him the $100 and went somewhere else I was still SOL. I told them to order the part, they told me to come in at 9 AM Tuesday morning to have it fixed so I could have it done before class. I showed up and they were too busy to do it so I needed to come back in an hour. Now here I am, sitting in their store, missing class and writing this review.
The most terrible experience I’ve ever had, I will give negative points if there is the option... At the end of last year I had a tire punctured, but I have to drive the highway later that day, and only this place can do tire change at that time. That’s the beginning of the nightmare. After they got the tire changed the steering wheel was pulled to the left, so they suggest me to do an alignment. HOWEVER, the problem do solved after this alignment, since it has been pulled to the right! Then I came back to let them adjust, and after this time, it was pulled to the left AGAIN... At the same time, there will be two lights on and one is about the engine every time after I drove for a little distance. I went to the dealer and after their check, the reason is also about the alignment, and the dealer suggested me go back to where I got the alignment and told them to redo it. So I went back to this store and the staff insisted me to do another A HUNDRED DOLLARS CHECK since they considered there’s something wrong with the engine or at least the computer since my car has had an accident (my car has NEVER had an accident), or they cannot do anything. I told them this car still needs alignment since you guys have never adjust it to the right place, but they told me these lights will still be on after this time. YES, IT IS! BECAUSE the steering wheel has been pulled to the other direction AGAIN!!! Later, I got another alignment from the dealer, and all the problems have been solved.
They were so nice to me after I had drivin all over Stillwater to find someone to change my oil and been told they were to busy or just completely rude. I pulled in here and they got me right in and out no problem, had the oil I wanted for my car, and we’re so kind. 10/10 will return here for my oil changes.
I called and set up an appointment at 8 o’clock so I could be the first one in and get out quick as I work in the city and have to take time out of work to get my oil changed. To change my oil it took an hour and fifteen minutes which is entirely too long. I looked out in the shop after about an hour and everyone of the guys were standing around talking. One gentleman was eating his breakfast. I will not be back.
They can be a little on the pricey side, but the guys are always nice and helpful. They almost always get the work done quicker than they say, even when the place is busy (which it is most of the time).
They tried to find the problem for 45 minutes and then gave up and let the car sit there for 2 full days before I called and gave them a hard time. Told them I needed it by a Monday, they noted Tuesday. Told them there was coolant leaking around the fuel injectors, they called and told me there was no visible leak (they what the heck is this green liquid around the fuel injectors?!) Not a car savvy guy, but was in a crunch, so I investigated and diagnosed the problem and called them to tell them what to look for. Finally, on day 3, after being TOLD it was a bad intake manifold, they called back to tell me it was just the gasket.I said are you sure about that? and they said they were certain and that intake manifolds never go bad. If it was the manifold I was going to do it myself to save money, if it was the gasket I was going to let them do it because it was half the price. So they started on the gaskets, only to call back in a bit and say weve got it taken apart and you were right, its the intake manifold. They proceeded to tell me Id still have to pay them the $540 for the gaskets either way and that the manifold would be $430 extra dollars. Well even that estimate was wrong because the final bill was $1150.Love Firestone in Tulsa, but in Stillwater, youre better off with napa auto parts and YouTube. Only use these guys if you have no other option.
Waited for a free brake check and oil change for 3 hours, then another hour just to have the brakes fixed. I guess there was only one worker who knew how to change the brakes. Plus it was more expensive than what I was expecting to pay (200 more than what I wanted). While I was here two others came in separately, with tire problems. Both got turned away saying they couldnt patch the tires because the nail/object was too close to the side wall, the only recommendation was for the customers buy new tires. Upon reading other reviews, I feel this has happened to quite a few others. I guess my advice is to 1. Schedule an appointment 2. Dont come here to get your tires patched.
