They got or can get just about anything for appliance. Great staff and very helpful, others turned me away for an ac capacitor these guys got the job done and even offer to look up the part I needed. I would return.

This place has excellent customer service. I had a bad blower motor for ac so I took it to them they tested it and sold me a new motor and they installed the blades for FREE and sent me on my way all I paid was for parts. Very friendly people

Great service saved me $$$$. I used them once before. I thought it was my AC motor and turned out to be my capacitor for my AC. These guys have checked my motor and said its good. They could have easy sold me a new motor and made more money. Worth the drive from Elk Grove.

First time dealing with Standard Appliance I needed it capacitor in an emergency when everybody else did in the valley here with 108 degrees. Sunday night I get a call from my father in-law 87 .AC stopped and he said he saw smoke by the condenser outside.Call the repair man Monday morning can’t get out till Wednesday I know everybody is busy at this time.But the old folks got a have their AC!Thank youDean Newhall

These guys are awesome! The only place in town that had the part in stock. The part needed was a thermocouple for AO Smith water heater. The thermocouple had a fuse it in prevented the repairer (me) from using a standard thermocouple. Besides having it in stock they installed in on the burner assembly for me; all I had to do was re-install the burner assembly! They also advised me of areas to clean on my water heater that I was unaware of and if ignored would have led me to a quick replacement of the new part. They made my decision to repair vs replace my water heather very easy and saved me a ton of money. They deserve your business. Beware, if you Google Standard Appliance Parts that google doesnt give you the other guy in town! It happened to me, but I caught it.

My two year old$600.00 fridgerator started to loose its cool and stop making ice,we had just stocked it with food,when I found myself in an urgent situation,cant afford a new fridge right now,Google search located Standard I called them told them the problem they were very nice explained to me how to install my 28.00 dollar part took a few minutes to install and my fridge is humming like a kitten.Thank Standard!

These guys were incredible. I have an old Whirlpool dual unit whose timer went bad. Part was no longer made. They identified the true part number, checked their resources to no avail, and then searched the internet while speaking to me to find one on eBay! At a fraction of the cost of what was the manufacturers price.

I have a Fedders AC unit. Parts are hard to find since company went under. The owner Rick was very helpful with my condenser motor. He didnt have OEM but had a motor with similar specs as OEM and he even took the time to take the old wires off the old motor and crimp them on the new motor so I could tell which wire went to what.Got home and motor worked however switch was intermittent, went back and had excellent service for the second time, Robert explained how to mount the new switch as it didnt look exactly like the old one.I dont review lots of places, but when I get the service I got at Standard Appliance I have to tell others!Take pictures or better yet bring in the parts so they can help you better.

The people here were friendly from the moment I walked in. It was quite the drive for me to get to the store from where I live, but they accommodated me and I was in and out in just a few minutes. They do sell to the public (not just contractors or technicians) which is nice. I went in for a hvac part and got 2 plus a few other things as I wanted to diy my ac. I got home and called 2 times to ask more questions to try to get it working. They were able to problem solve with me to find an answer. Talk abotu above and beyond here! I took my part in, they brought me what I needed (even though I wasnt too sure about it myself).The only reason for the one star down is that there is no refund to public for parts bought. While I can understand this, I do not give a 5 star rating because of that. I generally do not like policies like this, as a diyer I would like to know that I can switch parts or return if I need to a part I buy so that I do not have to make the hour+ drive for each part I may need. Id like to be able to get every part I MAY need and make less driving trips.I do RECOMMEND them though. I will be going back- loyal customer now that I know this place exists! And I do love the friendly and helpful service. The prices for parts were also very reasonable.
