Had to give them 1 star. No option for zero star.Dropped reefer on August 4th for regular service. They said it will be done in one day. Came to pick reefer on 9th August late afternoon. they haven’t done anything. Excuse was lost the work order tag. They offered it will be done by tomorrow. I Refused their offer because if it wasn’t done in 5days what are chances they will do in half day. Any how worst experience.
Bad experience, long wait hours, technics walking around chit chatting left and right. Came with apu problem after 9 hrs $1640.20 to repair same issue they worked on (30 APU running hrs ago ).Will try YouTube for DIY next time, will save time with and $$$.Don’t go there.
Terrible install of a TK APU!!!!!!!!!I went to TK services in Stockton, Ca. for a quote in Feb 2020 to purchase and install an APU unit for my 2016 Volvo VNL 780. I was told by the service mgr Gary Garcia that I had two choices for installation; either replace one of my 150 gal fuel tanks with a smaller one so the the APU unit could fit or a cheaper option would be to make a bracket that would house the APU on the back of the truck. Initially, I was surprised that TKs service mgr ( Sonsray fleet services subsidiary) was confident that the unit could be successfully installed in this manner. Convincing me that the behind the truck install was viable. So, after the install completion on March 8, 2020 I was given a mere 1 hr of runtime on the unit for testing.With my 5th wheel in the same position where Gary the service mgr initially measured prior to the install, I again confirmed by asking are you sure this will be okay, to which he responded, yes, we do this all the time. The following day, when leaving my yard to pick up my dedicated load, in the midst of my turn the trailer destroyed the APU unit. I immediately went back to the Stockton TK where Gary (service mgr) and Alan Granier (VP of Sonsray Service Division) told me under no circumstances were they at fault. That as the driver I should have known better. No sympathy for what just happened, no shock or amazement on their part, just annoyed that I would even think to bring the unit back to them. Avoid TK at all cost! To deny any responsibility, to have performed a negligent install and to have absolutely no regard for the impact this would have on my livelihood is reprehensible. As a business owner, I didnt spend 15k to be dismissed and given no regard as a customer. Again, AVOID TK at all cost!!!
Think twice before going to this place had a driver having probelms with the unit called these crooks told them the codes 10-31 and sent the driver driver unhooked before they even looked at the trailer they called telling me it needed all 3 belts. Yes one was bad. But the 2 others were cut with a knife they don’t let anyone watch them belts were under 1000 hours old nothing was wrong with the other 2 just crooks p.s belts that were cut with the knife were in great shape weren’t even cracking my hometown dealer told me they will be reporting these crooks to thermo king for scamming people
Took a little while before they were able to get working on repairs (apu issues). Actual repair time was about 2 hours so not too bad. They discovered a few things wrong that were not part of the main issue and fixed them too. They could do with some more informative signage. If you have a trailer, youll need to drop it in the drop yard then bobtail back to the check in area. Also their driver lounge is not much to be honest. There was an empty room with 2 chairs, a bench and a single occupancy bathroom with a shower in it. Thats it, no TV no coffee or vending machines.... Pretty boring so bring a book, magazine, tablet phone charger, something to entertain yourself with.
Don’t come here it’s a scam they charged 572$ labor just to replace water pump. AVOID AVOID
Excellent service. Friendly people. They took good care of me. Above and beyond. I highly recommend them for all you apu and reefer needs.
Be aware, these people are thieves. A woman sold me the wrong part and never mention there was no returns. I tried to return the part and the manager manuel, didnt want to help me. It seems that the management is part of the scam, to take clients money. Thats called a fraud.
I had a fuel sensor sending wrong signal and turned of my reefer.I called them and the manager told me ok come and park outside.I arrived there and a guy came out and fixed the issue within 10 minutes for free. They are really good in their profession, very helpful and friendly.Thank you.
READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE COMING HERE!!THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF WITH A SMILE ON THERE FACE!The BAD1:Minimum is 2 hours2: OVERCHARGING is guaranteed (4 hours to replace fuel pump) just got it done @ a real thermoking in 1 hour3: they had 6 hours to replace the fuel pump and I had to leave because they did not have a simple fitting to finish the job!4. Charged me full estimate of 1000$ even though actual time with my apu was less than 1 hour!5. They had to go get fuel pump, but because mechanic did not do his job by preparing for quick install, the could not finish!6. Took literally 45 MINUTES TO MAKE THE BILL SO I COULD PAY IT! That’s without arguing about there incompetence!7. This place also owns an equipment shop where they regularly rip-off there customers too!STAY AWAY!!!
Don’t ever trust these guys in Stockton Thermo king this place is soo sucks thay needs to send thare mechanics to training thay don’t no nothing about reefers

Wow, the lady I talked with in service was decidedly unhelpful. I explained the code I was having and that I’d been advised that they were a day and a half behind- I get that- but when I asked to speak with a tec she first told me they were all at lunch and then said they were all working on stuff; I only wanted to find out about the code I had and how serious it may be- she obviously doesn’t know much about trucking in general and may want to keep in mind that the customers she doesn’t want to help are also those which bring revenue to a business and ultimately employment to her.Luckily when I called the Reno based TK they were extremely helpful in explaining the different possibilities including the VERY important fact that I’d need to be empty to have this particular code investigated. They allowed me to make a more informed decision on whether I could keep running until I reached them- the Stockton branch was unhelpful in every way.
Great customer service!! I had a load full of pink frozen dildos (dont ask why) but my trailer wasnt keeping the temperature at -9 degrees so I called TK services for help. The manager Alvin took care of my problem they did a full system check too. Very satisfied and definitely recommend TK services in Stockton. Now I could deliver some pink frozen dildos.

They check you in right away. And for drivers that have to stay the nite they have a. Drivers lounge with a Shower. Nice touch for them OTR Drivers.
I came here for service and Russell DID NOT help me at all. He was trying to tell me to meet him elsewhere for service and that he can give me a better deal. I was glad a staff member overheard and intervene. The Indian man, I think the manager I apologize I do not remember his name, gave me the best service ever. Staff here are friendly aside from Russell which I am happy to know snakes like him do not belong at reputable places.

I was loaded with ice cream and my reefer shutdown. I called Tk and they told me to get in and they will get me in ASAP. When I got there they were really busy but pushed several trailers to the side to get me in and repaired. The repair was done fast and they saved my load of ice cream from becoming a trailer full of milk shake. Thanks for all your help. They saved the day!!!
We had a reefer shut down last minute. They took us in with barely any wait. Fixed the reefer, and didnt charge an arm or a leg. Their service rep was kind and understanding. I will be sending all my work to these guys! Thanks again!

Got in a full battle royal. Of course I won, broke 3 arms, 2 black eyes, 1 fat lip, rung 3 bells. Seriously this thermo king is there for a reason. Keep us rolling. Location is convenient, parking is fair. Environmental conditions Stockton industrial.
Open 7 days a week from 7am to 6pm. It took 3 hours to get an estimate of the cost of the repair. a normal delay for thermoking

They damaged my trailer horribly and denied it! There is a huge scratch and cut on it and it is obviously fresh but they are just saying they didn’t do it. Never bring your unit for service here!!

Negative stars if possible.Dont let them milk you of your hard earned money.Be VERY CAREFUL when getting service here.This review was for service done on both Reefer & TriPac APU unit. We brought both unit in same day, they gave us an estimated price for annual service, we agreed. Got a called from their service representative saying our reefer unit was leaking oil profusely, we need to replace the part, est price $4k service & labor. Freaked us out, we came to find out, its few drops of oil outside the part. No thanks!To our APU, its not functioning properly you need to change this, that, blah blah blah. Estimated price $900 labor & part, no thanks!End of day, end invoice was higher than estimated. Oh well its ok. We signed that payment, and get the hell out.Went back to our yard, found out they missed a few screws while putting our TriPac unit back, thank god our tech checked or else things will be flying without us knowing.PRICE: milk every penny you got.SERVICE: as little as possible.I would give it a few negative stars if I can.
4hrs to find out why my TriPac is not doing a Regen cycle (why APU’s need to be CARB Compliant now is beyond me) and I hear a tech ask the tech working on my apu, “Are you still working on that? Why is it taking so long?” To which the tech replied, “I’ve never done this repair before.”I asked the service desk associate, who just went to check on the status, if I just heard what I heard and she said, “Oh, he was talking about something else.”As his head is hanging out of my driver side window while he’s sitting down on the driver’s seat. I am being told 4hrs into this that they are, “.....still doing diagnostics.”Not to mention I was told to pull my truck in so he could start working only for him to walk out of the shop to go to lunch leaving my spouse, our dog, and myself to sit in a cramped and cluttered driver’s lounge. When I went out to just see if he discovered anything, he isn’t there and shows up 5min later (over an hour after I pulled the truck in) and he tells me he went to lunch because he was scheduled to. If he was scheduled for lunch, he should not have told me to pull the truck in so we could have gotten lunch before waiting 2.5hrs to even begin to have the tech look at the APU.If ThermoKing is going to have CARB compliant APUs, then they need to provide actual training to their techs on HOW to maintenance their many issues.This is probably the 3rd time a tech has went to lunch after I pulled my truck into a ThermoKing shop for APU work. What a lousy ran company.
Decent shop with small lounge but nice shower
Dont ever fix your APU form them. They are cheater make me wait whole day charge me $1200 bucks and my APU was not even fix. When I went back they told me theres another issue what a crap joke I was like what did you guys fix and didnt you guys did whole unit inspection they was like we did but its different problem nowThey are sucks.....

Had a minor issue with a back right door on my cr england trl 20571. Would not close properly due to the bar being out of line. Managed to lock the doors shut using a security lock and the chains hooked to the doors. Called Eric at the Stockton TK yard as well as the CR England road service, as I needed an mt to pickup in Sacramento,CA. Eric claimed no good empty trls would be ready until Friday. He refused to try to adjust the door saying it was not on the schedule. Previously, TK stockton said they would not supply refer fuel to critically low England trailers. Would rate this place as a minus 3 stars...useless and rude!
