Not worth it to drop off for consignment. There are no guarantees they will take any of your items and the wait time can be as much as two or three hours then you have to come back the same day to get your basket and what they don’t want. Unless you live in walking distance not worth the time. Seems the priority is to benefit their needs only with no concern for customers.

Wow! As a first time mom who literally needs everything, I was extremely impressed by the huge selection in everything (not only clothes). Every item was extremely clean and the items I bought look brand new, I’d never know they came from a consignment place. My new favorite store to save money while having quality at the same time for my little one.

I brought in multiple totes of childrens clothing. They rejected 90% of them. The clothing was by and large in good condition and very gently used.. The staff was polite and they were efficient but I was very disaapointed and I felt that the whole experience was a waste of my time.

Worse service ever! The girls here are so snobby and rude. No smile no words when I asked for the key to the bathroom they just went nd unlocked it . Same when I asking about the stamp card she just stamped it without you informing me how it works.

Nice selection of clothing in all my kids sizes. Very nice staff, very organized. Was hard not to shop for toys and other items as everything is so nice!

I love this place. Things that will never get worn can be traded in and used as credit towards things these picky kids like - other clothes, toys, whatever. Theyre always very polite and we always find at least a few things we like. Weve never experienced or seen anything like what Ive read in negative reviews. Maybe people have unrealistic expectations. Youre not trading to get cash to buy similar items brand new. Youre trading in things that would normally be worth nothing in your life for discounts on items that are worth the very fair prices they offer. They wouldnt be in business if they paid even half of what items were worth brand new. If you want to try and sell your items online and go through the hassle of documenting and listing every item, dealing with people who seem to contact sellers out of boredom with no desire to buy (most responses will be these) and deal with strangers, then maybe you can get more for them. For those of us who dont have time for that, this is a great place that saves time and some money. As for the gossiping, all Ive ever heard is polite conversation and employees judging clothing which is their job. If your feelings are hurt easily by people judging your taste in fashion or the condition of your used items, try not to listen. The last time I came, I brought mostly brand new never worn with tags items. None with any signs of wear. I got more than half of the things I brought in back marked because of condition. Was I offended? Honey...no. They buy whats selling and what they can make money off of. Its a business not a charity.Sounds like there was a bad egg employee that I never met.During my last visit, with trade-ins that were worth nothing in my life, I bought two pairs of shorts, four collared shirts, a matching track suit, a pair of dress socks, pair of shoes, two puzzles, a power ranger figure, all in new condition and paid around $40 🌟I love a good deal and have been to several trade-in places. This one is great.

I’m a repeat customer and have been for years. Unfortunately, all the reviews are spot on that mention loud, gossipy staff who never glance your direction or greet upon entering the store... AND it’s usually the same even when you’re in line to check out. You have to break up a conversation just to call someone over. That should all be addressed. You think it would’ve been after so many reviews below. Overall, they have good deals, so that’s what I go for, but other locations are more desirable because of these issues.

My boyfriend and i have been here twice. this last time was giving this place a second chance, and once again were completely disappointed. i hate writing bad reviews and complaining, but i feel like more people should be aware of what to expect. the staff here is extremely rude. both times we came in, one woman in particular told us we couldn’t sell our things in plastic bc of covid, which we completely understood! so we went to target to get a tote, and we came back and she seemed annoyed bc that wasn’t right either. instead of politely explaining what she meant, she kept giving us attitude and rolled her eyes when we told her we had just went out to buy that because we live far! the second time we figured they were selling up until an hour before close which is usually how consignment shops work, but apparently when we walked in it was too late. we were told she would “take it this time since it was slow” but if we did it again she wouldn’t accept it. even though as a customer service worker myself, all that could’ve been said was “just for future we only sell till ____ but i’d be glad to help now” we waited 25 minutes for one item to be priced while the workers just sat on their phones and gossiped. honestly we’ve bought from here because of the deals on baby items for our upcoming baby, but probably won’t return to this location anymore. hire better staff!

Wonderful staff, they treat me and my grandson with patience and kindness. Ive purchased and sold items at this store and the prices are fair. Ive always had excellent customer service and at times some staff go beyond that.

I had a great time at the store today - my daughter loved shopping here and I was able to let her pick things out because they are reasonably priced. I also took things in to sell and was pleased with the amount - I had some things that were never worn and I know I wouldnt have gotten as much if I tried to sell them in a garage sale (hehe and I dont have to sit all day in the hot sun - so thats worth something to me as it is) ...thank you well be back :)

So much better than that stupid Lil Frog Fashions place. So much wider selection. Ive found new clothes with tags on them before here. So many more toys. My kids love coming here. Would highly recommend!

The worst Once Upon a Child to ever exist. The staff is always gossiping and loud and unfriendly. They don’t notify you on whether they are accepting bags which should be clear as day when u make an appointment. Northfield Once upon a child is worth the drive for me

1 star upon entering store. I was not greeted. While shopping no one offered any assistance. Then once I was ready to check out, I stood at counter while 3 people behind ignored me, I had to ASK THEM to check me out. Will take my money else where since they have no regard for customer service

Fairly good store- the clothes are priced ok. If you try to sell items they barely take anything and when they do, offer you maybe a couple dollars. Sometimes it is very surprising considering some of the items on the racks are way below normal standards. The women behind the counter have been very rude the past couple times I’ve been there (except one girl who I wish I could remember her name to shout her out)- they ignore you when you walk in the door, their conversations are incredibly loud no matter what they’re talking about, and often times it’s gossip. Yes the issues suck but at the end of the day I’m not paying brand new prices for clothes my kids won’t wear for more than a couple months, so here is where I come.

Beware! This store never buys any stuff back even if bring back the items you bought here. This has been the third time for us when they have refused to buy items back which were bought in this store. All items we tried selling were in working condition. If you bring a bunch of stuff they just buy a few just to appear to be buying back items. The majority of items will be refused. I am gonna go to the North Canton store going forward. They are a much nicer store even though it is a 30 min drive.

Keep these in mind... offers are just that... an offer. You are not obligated to accept it. If you want top dollar, sell it yourself, not to a RESALE business. They resell items to stay afloat. Dont expect to be able to resell merchandise that you purchased used in the first place. Those items are now even more worn and outdated. Just because you purchased it there does NOT mean they should purchase it back from you when you are done with it. This store is wonderful, clean and organized. Kudos to the owner and staff.

I have both sold to them and purchased from them. I was super impressed by the organization of the store. Everything was set up by gender, size item type and color. My first visit I was searching frantically for black dress pants for my toddler and located them almost immediately! Prices are super reasonable for buyers (the pants I bought were $4!) so you cant expect to get much when you sell. That being said, I was really happy with what they offered me when I sold to them.

Im so excited! Today I went into the store to find some fall outfits and there was so much to choose from! A lot of times when you go into second hand stores, the inventory seems to be hit or miss, but Ive always had great luck at this store! Ive also brought clothing in to sell back and the staff was friendly and quick to go through my baskets! I love selling back because it gives me more money to buy!!! Wahooo!!

When I first walked in I had a bathtub with me. I was greeted from one of the girls there by telling me that I could take that right back to the car,they wont take it. The isles had clearance bins in the middle of them which you could have tripped over. Most of the clothes I brought in had the tags on them but I was told they were worn. The one girl was eating her salad right next to a pile of clothes and dropping her food off the fork. A lot of the baby clothes had stains on them. The staff was not very helpful in fact they were all just standing around talking the whole time I was there. I will never go back. This was the Stow store. Very dissatisfied.

I took my sons shoes in to sell and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They are selective, though, and wont take anything that looks worn. The prices they paid are lower than what I would get if I sold the items on my own, but it is easy and worth saving the time.

Staff always comes across as though youre interrupting their day and important conversations. Have never walked in and felt like an appreciated customer. Only reason I return is for cheap clothing but it would be nice if the employees were nicer. Even the owner comes across snooty and stuck up; never makes small talk or acts like your money is keeping her business running. If I owned this store Id at least make my customers feel like they were imporant to me...because they are!

Whoever is managing this site should be fired. I NEVER feel the need to write reviews, but this place simply should have better staff. They are not only rude, but In the half hour I was there, all they did was gossip. I was alone with my one year old daughter, making trip after trip out to the car, holding my daughter and merchandise- THREE workers standing just talking at the counter to eachother and not one offered to help or even held the door. When I almost dropped something They just stood there and looked at me. Seriously people? I hope the owner doesnt pay any of them over minimum wage. I will be donating my items from now on and definitely will not be giving the stow location any of my business.

I give up on going here. I had what I wanted to sell freshly laundered and folded neatly into baskets when they gave it back to me everything has just been thrown back in I was insulted by what they offered me and when my son Wanted a movie everybodys too busy talking to each other to even realize that I was at the checkout even though I had said excuse me and hello a couple of times the employees are rude and to self consumed if you dont want to run a business then dont open one

The staff are VERY rude, like you are bothering them almost every time I have gone. The selection of clothes is decent, but more expensive that the other 3 kids second hand shops in our area. The best time to go is their 50% off sale.

I walked in and the whole place smelled funky. I was lost in the store immediately. Then I noticed that an employee had their dog their. it was really poorly managed.

This store is a joke! I took items to sell, the staff was semi friendly. Out of the three girls only one bothered to say hello, not the two I was standing directly in front of. A girl took my bag, told me to fill out a piece of paper, and come back in 45 minutes. Ok-I’m not from Stow so I hung around the area and came back. I asked how the gauge what they take and what they offer. I was very surprised by what I was given, one of the reasons I was told was bc of wear, staining and styling; I made sure the items I took were in good condition and neatly folded. I was given a VERY low amount for the items they did accept. One of those items was brand new WITH tags! They only took the high end items and paid much much less than what they could have. Very dissatisfied with this store and staff. I will be contacting the corporate office in regards to this, what a ripoff!

I work in this area so I like to get away and look for things on my lunch especially for my kids. Well I decided to stop and check out this store since it is close to my work and all the women acted like I was bothering them when I would ask them questions. I work in customer service myself and if I would act like these women did I would either get wrote up or sent home for the day. I was looking at a couple of things and one of them was a stroller. I looked (while in the store) up the stroller online brand new the same exact stroller priced on Amazon was $149.99 with all pieces. The stroller in the store was missing a couple of pieces and it was very worn and dirty and it was listed in the store as $100.00. So I thought I could wait to go up and talk to someone in regards to the price to see if they would come down. Wouldnt even give me the time of day!! The sales girl that helped me said since it said Priced Accordingly then that pretty much covers there butt that they took a stroller in without pieces and trying to get there money back that they paid the customer. Im sorry but this is a second hand childrens store....I stopped going to the one in Canton because of this and now I will no longer go to this one. I also have a lot of friends with children and they love second hand shopping and I will make sure they know about both areas. I used to loved going to to this store especially the one in Canton but now after the experience I had there and the experience I had at this one I will not be returning and I will be spreading the word. I will also be going to forward to corporate with this as well. Thank you!!!!

Wife loves this place. I find it boring. HAHA. They have a little play area to keep the kids busy while you shop so thats good.

I took my boys clothes in sizes 0-24 months. Everything was washed, clean and stain free! Needless to say I was insulated by what I was told they would offer me. I always buy my childrens cloths here. And now I will never be back. The staff was very rude and the store was a mess!!!!!

Horrible! The store is so jammed packed and crowded youre constantly in someones way. No room to move and look around. Only one make shift dressing room, with no hooks are anywhere to hang the clothing youre trying on. Then theres a line of people waiting for you to hurry up in that one dressing room. Ridiculous! Never going back, wasnt worth the headache.

But i would like to say i really do love this store i agree that it is crowded BUT there are TONS of clothes and some with the original tags. The clothes are very cheap which is awesome. I do feel that the bouncy seats, swings, etc are kind of pricey because people who sell them themselves normally dont ask AS much as the store has priced, would be nice if you could bargain a little on the furniture. And i dont like that if you buy something from them even if it still has the tags on it they dont buy them back. ( never tried at this store but the other ones i have been too will NOT buy them back ) which kind of sucks cause when i bought alot of GIRL stuff when i was pregnant and i ended up having a BOY i didnt have the money to buy the boy stuff cause i spent every penny on girl stuff. SO needless to say my son wore dresses for a few weeks.

Huge store with a ton of selection! Got several new outfits for my little one!

Took a tote of clothes in washed and ironed. The clothes I received back were just tossed back in the tote. Would never bother to take in another item I will give it away before I would allow them to make money off of my items.
