Service was great and the food was too. The pancakes arent your traditional perfectly round cakes and instead are more of a delicious slight towards a crepe. They are really good. The omelettes are very good, its clear they use fresh quality vegetables. I only dinged one star because I thought the coffee could have been better, but maybe we were just the end of the pot that morning. Well be back for sure.

I wanted to like it...that say their pancakes and waffles are fantastic. We had a pecan waffle and the corned beef hash.The pecan waffle was a nice waffle with pecan pieces dusted on top. It was good, but would have been better if the pecans were IN the waffle.The corned beef hash was a HUGE portion, but I couldnt find flavor anywhere. The corned beef was cooed separately from the hash browns, and it screamed for salt. Yes - Corned beef needed salt.Im happy to see a local place as busy as Garretts, and I wish them luck, but wont make the trip across town for breakfast again.

This is a very good place to eat. The owner and his staff are very courteous. You can order and they will bring your food out to your car. Pancakes are the best. Biscuits and gravy excellent. Lobster Bisque superb. The breakfast sandwich I highly recommend you try it.

Oh my gosh what can I say about this place the breakfast was absolutely phenomenal and I didnt even eat in I had it delivered to my hotel room such a great staff such a great delivery person it was worth all the money I spent I thank everyone over at Garretts Mill Diner for such a great breakfast and a great welcome to your city oh and lets not forget about the bite-sized scones little pops of happiness in your mouth

This place really is the best! Driving by, we saw the signs, “best pancakes, best waffles, best corned beef, best staff” - and it’s all true! All of our food was absolutely stellar. We had the savory breakfast crepes, corned beef omelet, pancakes, and fresh fruit salad and they were just delicious. And the staff was so welcoming and eager to help. We felt right at home on our first visit - and it definitely won’t be our last visit!

Great service, really friendly people. An obvious family establishment working hard. Very tiny space, only 8 tables - none really appropriate for a large group. I have a feeling these people would be glad to accommodate and request they physically can, though. Food was good, I will return!

Outstanding, the service was good small place more of a family environment. They advertise best pancakes which is true. I am thankful I listened to my wife. The pancakes were the best I ever tasted. My wife who is not a pancake person ate all of hers. I asked them to send the recipe to the breakfast restaurant I patronize in Florida. We could not have found a better place.

So funny story. I get hired last week at Garretts Mill Diner in Stow because the owner needs some help. The place needs a lot of work. Is he doing business and have good food, yes but Its unorganized, cluttered and one of the dirtiest places I have ever seen. Cleaning is staggered and not a priority. My first priority is organizing and removing clutter. Simple things like asking that the tea pots which were black need regular cleaning and a bucket of kitty litter should not be visible under the check out, bathrooms should be cleaned daily and the trash emptied. I come in guns blazing as so much needs to be addressed and I feel Im making an impact. Everything I suggest is acknowledged and implemented but apparently some including the owner dont really want any criticism or direction. Ill admit not cleaning or rotating containers is easier that following cleanliness guidelines but that is not how I work. So today I get a call that Im not working out and its best we part ways. I brought in my own glass cleaner yesterday to clean the front windows and door because they didnt even have glass cleaner so you can only guess what the priorities are. In any case I am again looking for a new job while the Diner is breathing a sigh of relief that they dont have to clean thoroughly or empty the trash in the bathrooms which is where the paper towels you dry your hands on are stored. Am I being petty? Maybe but I was hired to do a job and was let go for pointing out what was wrong.

As a vegan it is a special treat to find a rare gem like Garrets Mill Diner. They offered several different vegan options: offered to make custom pancakes with almond, soy, and gluten free options. They then brought the products to the table so we could verify the ingredients. It was so refreshing to be able to eat a real meal instead of being offered just fruit. Everyones meal were fresh, hot, and delicious. Service was awesome. I would 1000% recommend stopping here for a meal. Also, support local businesses. Next time I am nearby I am going here!!!

Stopped in for lunch. Service was excellent and fast. Great coffee and delicious food. I ordered the lobster benedict and it was so good that I got a quart of lobster bisque to go!

Quaint diner. Out crepes were wonderful and huge. They have both sweet and savory. Since I got both bananas and strawberries there was and up charge for a second fruit ($1.75.) They are only open for breakfast and lunch.

I was in the area for work and found Garretts Mill Diner driving to my hotel. The menu gave me a good feeling, so I stopped in. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure each customer had what they needed. I ordered biscuits & gravy and scrambled eggs with American cheese. I was too excited to dive in and forgot to snap a picture.The biscuits were light and soaked up the gravy right up. The kitchen anticipated this and had added a ramekin of extra gravy to the plate. The gravy was fresh, scratch-made, and flavorful. The eggs were cooked well.All in all, a great spot for breakfast. The scene appeared to be frequented by a loyal local crowd. A definite must try.

Found this place by accident & will be my new new fav breakfast spot! Warm, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, great food & prices!

The pancakes are the best in Stow. Absolutely no contest. Biscuits and gravy are also essential here. Homemade and very tasty. Just a great spot for breakfast, local or traveling, doesn’t matter. Come enjoy great food, leave beyond satisfied. Will be returning as soon as possible.

Very disappointed. Wife ordered protein breakfast w/over medium eggs, bacon, wheat toast. Got egg whites only. Several minutes after my short stack arrived. Called attention to the mistake. It was quickly replaced with scrambled eggs. Again, called attention and it was replaced second time with eggs.Lady in booth beside us decided her feet hurt so she removed her shoes. Management did not say a word to her.Only reason I gave two stars instead of one, they have hired a handicapped person as a server. Good Job on you for that. Sorry, just too many strikes for us to return.

The food was really delicious. Good serving size for surprise. The service was so so. But wonderful cuz it seems like it helps out special needs people with jobs. Overall it was a good experience. Will go back again to try other dishes

This place had the absolute best cornbeef hash Ive had in my entire life. We were only in town for a day, and we happened to get breakfast there when we got into town, but we had to go back the next morning before we left to have it again! They did a fantastic job of serving all eight of us! Garretts Mill is a gem!

Came here for Father’s Day. The customer service was top notch, food was delicious, and price was great! Highly recommend! I’ll definitely be back.

The food is delicious and plentiful. I ordered takeout. When I picked up my order, I waited about 10 minutes. I was left to stand near the doorway, never offered a seat. There only was one dine in customer, plenty of seats available.

I was impressed with the level of customer service I received here. We had to wait in the car before we could be seated but we were offered scones and drinks while we waited. They even gave us bananas for the kids. Once we were seated, they checked in on us frequently and the food was fantastic. I also purchased some scones to take home. I will definitely be back.

We had such a great breakfast at Garretts mill. The owner was so friendly and personable. We had the breakfast burrito, the steak and eggs and the breakfast sandwich. They were all delicious. Clean restaurant and quick service. We will be back.

My new favorite spot for breakfast and coffee. The crepes were delicious and you get a very generous serving of them for a good price. I could eat their Loaded Burrito with Tereso sausage everyday of my life its so good. background music was the oldies, which I liked. The cook (owner too I think) was very friendly and treated his employees with patience which added to a good atmosphere amidst a rush hour.

Great spot, driving through and this place was recommended by our hotel. Definitely a great way to start off the morning. Service was exceptionally friendly.

This place is amazing! Whenever my sister comes into town, this is the first place we go. We’ve made it a tradition. The pancakes are AMAZING!!!! It is like eating a cloud. This may be weird but the butter tastes amazing also. We had ordered French toast with cinnamon frosting, and this was the BEST frosting I have ever had. The eggs, always a plus. I’m not usually a home fries type of person but the potatoes here were amazing! We showed up 20 minutes before close and still had great service!!! Might make this a Monday morning weekly ritual! Sooooooo good!

WOW!!! I can NOT say enough about this little diner, not only was the customer service phenomenal the food was amazing!! The best western omelette i have ever had! My boss said it was the best corned beef hash he has had as well! I will definitely be giving them my business going forward! Thank you Garretts Mill Diner for a great experience and bananas :)

Reuben. Corned beef was excellent. Cheese wasnt melted. Dressing unevenly applied but tasted good. Light rye which I prefer to the ubiquitous marbled but it wasnt toasted or grilled sufficiently. It was dried out but not browned. As a result the sandwich was messy but missing any flavorful crunch. The proportions were good for me. I dont want a huge corned beef sandwich, but it was disappointing. Not enough to complain about; that would just be wasteful, but overall the sandwich was sub-par. Id give it a 3.Had the hash browns. They were unpeeled, sliced, golden potatoes. They seemed nuked and grilled but it was a lump grilled on the outside. The only real flavor was the skins but the matted texture was off putting. Peels were too much. Again, not to send back, but not to eat, either.Got ketchup and hot sauce. Those came in plastic containers which was too food service for me. There wasnt enough of either but since I didnt eat the potatoes there was too much of both so waste plus plastic! Winning!Partner got savory crepes which were ugly but reported as excellent. The crepe looked perfect. Filling was proportional to the crepe in my opinion. In other words, it wasnt an over stuffed burrito. But they werent plated in any attractive fashion. Just sort of poured into the plate.For me the experience was a 2 but I would try more breakfast-y things again. The crepes were probably a 4.And no, I didnt complain. I was good. It was ok. I am not going to cheat a hard working establishment or waste food

Friendly staff and very accommodating. Not so much on the food flavor, though. Pre-made biscuits that were dry and cold. Gravy was runny and had no flavor. I gave 3 stars because they let u choose fresh fruit instead of potatoes and the wait staff are very pleasant. Potatoes were actually good. So was the coffee. I probably wont go back since there are so many great breakfast choices in the area.

As someone who prides himself in eating pancakes, the pancakes I get here are some of the most unique Ive ever had. They are incredibly thin and crisp, but goddamnit if they are not some of the best pancakes Ive ever had.

Love the food here! Breakfast is wonderful- nothing too fancy, just regular breakfast food done right. Today, I ordered the savory crepes, which were absolutely delicious. The fruit cup that came along with the crepes was very obviously made to order and was a great complement to the crepes. My breakfast loving husband got a the staple breakfast of eggs, bacon, home fries and toast. Though he struggled, it was allllllll gone at the end. The staff is super friendly and its really a comfortable place. Well definitely be back soon.

There breakfast burrito is amazing! Something with the combo of the sour cream, hot sauce and their homemade salsa. Its so freaking good. They also threw in a free pancake. My wife and I always have a great takeout breakfast experience here.

Nasty food, gravy was like water and the bacon was old. I asked for fresh bacon and was told she could warm it up in the microwave or griddle. It was clear that it was cooked the night before.

My family friends and I come here all the time for breakfast. Their food is very very good. But this time we were sitting here watching the cook ring people out and then go right back to cooking without changing his gloves. The touch screen was absolutely filthy and he’s touching money and receipts from other people then goes right to the stove and grabs the handle to the cooking utensils. Sadly to say we will not eat here anymore.
