I typically only brought my vehicle in for basic services (oil changes, replacing a head lamp bulb, brakes) in which all the work was performed flawlessly in a timely manner and reasonably priced. I have recently had more extensive work performed concerning a broken coil spring and a damaged fender. Surf Avenue Auto Body was able to provide me with a quite accurate estimate in pricing but relayed that they would need some time to fix. While the car was held for about 5 business days, they were quick to assist me in finding an affordable rental. Very pleased with the quality & expedience of work and their accommodating staff!P.S. The hourly labor rates here may be the most economical I have ever encountered through an auto body shop.

Surf Avenue Auto Body is the BEST!!! My daughter had an accident with my wifes car and both were really upset about it. Surf Avenue picked up the car and brought it to their shop and within 2 weeks had it back to us better than new! They handled everything with the insurance company, we didnt have to do a thing! Highly recommend!

Kory, Shawn and the rest of the crew here are great! My car was littered with paint chips and they were going to repaint the nose end. Insurance ended up agreeing to repaint the whole car and they managed to color match PERFECTLY (mine is a challenging color I’ve learned). It looks better than when I bought it, and they were informative and professional every step of the way. They’re always great, no matter how big or small the work needing to be done. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

Surf Ave has been my go to shop for all my car needs for the past decade. The work is always excellent, the prices fair and the communication honest and up front. I refer everyone their way!

When I spoke to the gentleman on the phone, he was nice and made it seem as if he could fix my car the same day. However, when I arrived he began to back pedal and told me he couldnt fix my car until the following week and he had to hold my car for a week. Have you ever heard of an auto body shop holding your car for an entire week?! Especially when the car was not wrecked? He told me he would call/email me about the details and when I could come in. He never followed up and I had a pretty good idea why. Ive been told that I speak very proper and it may have misled him when he actually saw me, due to societys stereotypes. All in all, if youre black, Shawn might not be interested in servicing your car.

These guys are the best. Kory, Sean, the whole crew are awesome. They treat you like family, truly have your best interest in mind, and take care of you. This is the place for anything you need for your car.

We’ve been using Surf Autobody for years and have always found them to be upfront and honest. Our vehicles are always inspected for safety items (i.e. tire pressure, brake pad condition) even if we’re only in for an oil change.

To be honest, I always assumed body shops were sketchy and after my accident recently I was worried id have to deal with that on top of everything else. Turns out I was wrong when dealing with Surf who were communicative, friendly and honest. The work was completed when promised and I was alerted to any delays in a timely fashion. They go Above & Beyond for your satisfaction. Mr. Murrati and his staff run a tight ship here. They are kind, professional and quick. My girlfriends car was done over the summer and the job was excellent. You couldnt even tell there was work done to her car in the first place. Because I was so happy with their work, I decided to use them when one of my cars was involved in a minor accident. I had to dispute with the insurance company because they used aftermarket parts and the fitment was not good (not the shops fault) the guys at Surf Ave helped me get original parts on my car and made sure the job was done correctly and to my satisfaction. Im sharing a secret - I truly thought long and hard about writing this review. I have been using Surf Avenue Auto Body for more than five years. I started going to them directly when Jaguar Land Rover of Milford, which is now Jaguar Land Rover of Fairfield - made the mistake of telling me whom they used for their service & collision.At the time the dealership did not have a collision center in Milford. I purchased my Range Rover from Jaguar Land Rover Manhattan. Ever since our first dance, Cory & Sean have become family!I had to say goodbye to one of my vehicles on their lot, where the insurance adjuster called to tell me he did everything in his power not to total it out. They were patient and understanding. I cannot tell you how many times I sent that adjuster out, with marching orders save her!Recently, I drove Silver Lining in.
