Ener-G Tech did several repairs to my @1825 home in Stratford Ct including window repair and custom window/storm window construction. The work was of very high quality, and lasted for decades. This was especially challenging as the dimensions of a home that old are not uniform. The artisans at EGT put quality first and were responsive to follow up custom work. You just cannot readily find support and craftsmanship like that--I remain grateful for the excellence of their work.

I highly recommend Ener-G Tech. Of all the contractors we had come out and quote, Greg by far was the most experienced, and helpful in recommending the best options for our budget. The first project was an awning installation. Once we selected the dimensions, materials and features. It was a short wait to have the order delivered. His Team worked efficiently but paused a few times during the installation to confirm we were comfortable with the location, height, etc, before proceeding with final install. We couldnt be happier with the awning.The second project was front door installation. Each contractor we met said we needed to remove the entire door frame. We asked Greg to help. He measured the hinges and came back to us with several door options that would fit the exact measurements of the existing door frame. We were able to visit the showroom to see the different options in person. And finally, the installation was quick, professional, and well done.!Again, I cannot say enough about Gregs experience and consultative approach. We will certainly make Ener-G Tech our first phone call for our next project.

Not until it was determined they could NOT service my gas stove insert due to not being knowledgable or trained to service I was already out $150 for the service call. I was first told the tech encounted hornets in the firebox and had to leave. I found a broken log and no Hornets. The owner came and opened and closed the box with no further succes other than to repair the log.. In the end I called and asked if he would refund my money since the service was not completed. I left him to be thoughtful about his decision. Im out $150. and no service. Sad, I use to recommend them.

HORRIBLE experience. Did not even come prepared to service my gas fireplace. The majority of his time was spent on the phone with phone support but he was happy to charge $200 for horrible service. Had no idea what he was doing. He even stated that he didnt give a damn if the fireplace stopped working because we didnt purchase it from him. Wish I could give a ZERO rating.
