UPDATE.. I already rated 5 stars, but today I received a refund check from Conway for the difference between the estimated registration fee and the actual fee. I’ve never had a dealership do that.I located the vehicle I had been searching for at Conway. It appeared to be extremely clean and low miles. We drove nearly 3 hours from 2 states away and we were relieved that the vehicle was just as advertised. Sebastian and Mauro were great to work with. Zero pressure sales, they let the vehicle sell itself. We were nervous to make that drive and show up to a vehicle with a bunch of cover ups then have to fight through the sales gimmicks and upsell charges. ABSOLUTELY none of that happened. Easiest car buying experience I’ve had. Everything is matter of fact. Sebastian asked what payment I needed and he did all the work to make it happen, actually came in under. That has NEVER happened before. Very clean office. Definitely set the bar high and gave us a new car buying experience. We will be returning to replace our other vehicle when the time comes. It was worth the drive, not even a second thought.

Went to go see a car yesterday they told us to fill out the application and that they would look at it today. They ran our credit and WE kept calling for an update on the approval Mauro said he still had to talk to his manager because he hadn’t heard back from the bank. My husband then noticed on the website the car we were looking to get had been sold. We called and asked if it was correct and they had said yes that they sold it. So they ran my credit with out letting me know someone went in to buy it. No courtesy call NOTHING. We once again had to call them because if we didn’t they wouldn’t have told us. He said he wasn’t aware it was sold. They should honestly have a system in place so they know what is being sold or look into and atleast given a courtesy call. Now they ran out credit for nothing.

I purchased a black 2007 Grand Cherokee from this location. Initially everything seemed great. I had been searching for that vehicle in several places so I was extremely excited to find this one so close. (Out of state purchaser) When I initially sent my email regarding my interest for the truck Emilio was the salesman whom responded, however Emilio communication was horrible, I sent several email and called. Kinga his colleague was the person who ended up getting back with me regarding my interest.After arriving at Conway I was greeted by Kinga and she took me straight to the vehicle. Kinga had pretty ok sales person performance as she didn’t rush me into anything, she was patient and told me what ever information she knew about the vehicle in question.I placed a deposit on the vehicle on 7/27/2020 and returned the following week to complete the purchase as discussed and documented.This second time I had to fly into Chicago in order to drive the vehicle back home. I arrived at the lot we finalize everything regarding the purchase, this is when things begin to go left. From the initial communication regarding the purchase I indicated it would be a cash purchase, when I handed my cashier check over to Ivan not sure if this had anything to do with my appearance but he asked was this a bank loan or cashier check. I immediately felt insulted due to the fact that we spoke in great detail surrounding my method of pay, not to mention I left $500.00 cash the day I drove down to secure the vehicle.When I returned on 8/4 nothing the vehicle had been completed. The vehicle still had Conway Import stickers on the window that needed to be removed, it was not washed and had NO GAS. Keep in mind I had an appointment with Elgin DCJ to inspect the vehicle before I got on the highway and to essentially make sure the was safe to travel in for 4hrs going back home.As soon as I pull off the lot the GAS LIGHT COMES ON and it you’ve been to this car dealership then you are fully aware that this area does not have a gas station near. I called Kinga livid bc not only did my time get wasted and I was practically late for me appointment at the dealer I was BLOWN AWAY by the fact that this vehicle did not have at least a half a tank of gas. The vehicle had the EXACT same amount of gas in the vehicle from when I went and test drove.They did not do ANYTHING they were supposed to regarding me departing with the Jeep except provide the proof of purchase and vehicle itself.Fast forward to Dec 7, 2020 I’m leaving a review surrounding everything including the 4xxx I’ve spent on the vehicle since it has returned home.Dry rotted tires -replacedWhite smoke coming from the exhaust (sent email to manager only to be told that was normal when we all know it is not!Drive/Passenger side exhaust manifold leakNew brakes and rotors on entire vehicle (Conway put cheap parts on the vehicle)The oil had not been changedSerpentine belt replacedWater pump leakingBattery replacementFront seal leakingRear Main seal leakingTransmission was missing a pieceTow hitch is gone NO spare tireThey had places air filters in locations that don’t require them.The KEYS to enter the ignition was loose returned home and had to spend 240 for new keys/key fobsThe vehicle overall after all the modifications made has been great. However I wished they would have LISTED all of things needed repair wise.Conway imports states on thr website that they PRIDE themselves on picking great quality USED VEHICLES however I do not feel this is the case. If Conway Import actually stood by there words this may have been a better situation. Oh and when I started calling them to inform them of issues with the vehicle I BEGIN TO HAVE A HARD TIME REACHING ANYONE. I even informed them that I would return to the location either way, and suddenly my calls began to get responded to.From the many reviews I read I would have never thought my experience would’ve went the way it did. In fact one reason I chose to do business with Conway Imports was due to the reviews.

Never has it been so easy to get a car from a car lot! The staff-Kinga and Mauro were very helpful and answered all of my questions, even a bit after work hours. They stayed in touch and even though they are located far from home they did everything they could to help get me into the vehicle i wanted. He couldnt normally explain why he cant make a discount. He was not try to keep us like a serious customer. Maybe because I was not American. Sorry, me and my husband were trying negotiated but it was so rude. We are want to buy our third car. Believe me I know how other auto stores serves.

We had our Mini van blow a motor on a Saturday. I called Conway because I saw they could maybe help with challenged credit. I talked with Ivan and told him our situation and what we could afford. Him and the Team at Conway got me approved for a loan on Monday for a car we were interested in. Never felt pressured at all and they made the process very easy. We showed up at the dealer and they had the car we wanted to test drive all ready to go. Because he got us approved for that car before showing up we were out of there in a hour with our new Honda HR-V.They made our stressful situation a lot easier and we will be going back when we are ready for our next car.

I live about 5 1/2 hours away from Conway and was having a hard time finding a vehicle in my area. I came across a Lexus that I liked at their dealership and worked with Sebastian and Mauro. Overall they were attentive and responded to me quickly with any questions or concerns I had. It was easy to setup a time around my schedule to do a video call to have a virtual walkaround of the vehicle. They were accommodating enough to drive the vehicle to a nearby Lexus dealership so I could have the vehicle inspected by a third party. This was the first time I had ever bought a car sight unseen out of state so I was a little nervous but Sebastian and Mauro made things as easy and comfortable for me as possible given the circumstances. Due to the inflation of the car market and lack of vehicles stimming from the effects of Covid they were unwilling to negotiate on price but I guess that is to be expected in our current market. I would recommend getting a credit pre approval from a third party bank. The original interest rate they quoted me was significantly higher than what I had been approved for but after giving them my pre approval they got me a better rate. Ive since had the Lexus delivered to my home and it arrived in great condition as described. As long as it continues to treat me well Ill continue to work with Sebastian and Mauro in the future and recommend them to family and friends.
