Worst car dealership I’ve ever dealt with. They sold me a vehicle that broke about a week later. Took it to their service department and they “fixed” the issue except the engine light came on a couple days later. The a/c then broke and they’ve refused to return my messages.Avoid them like the plague. They should be shut down by the state.

They surprised me with a package with all sorts of goodies like refreshments, a $25 gift card to Krogers, much needed sanitizing wipes, a pizza cutter, pens, stationary, and along with miscellaneous items which was a token of their generosity and compassion for struggling single mothers like me. Service department was non helpful and was rude. No communication with one another, second time trying to get an oil change done there. Finally got an oil change done today, but again rude service. And was supposed to get a license plate bracket on since we just bought our car a week ago. But no, they had to order it. So, we have to go back and get it done which Id rather not and go to Bill Walsh Chevy in Ottawa where we bought our car much nicer and helpful service. But, we figured since we live in Streator its only a stone through away might as well. Never again will I go back. The only up side to today was there was a very nice sales man who talked to us in the service waiting room. Very kind man.

Would recommend staying far from this place! Here’s my experience:Called them interested in a vehicle I saw on their website. They scheduled me a test drive then cancelled by text and told me to call to reschedule because they loaned it out as a service vehicle. I called, they had me leave a message and to expect a call in 15 minutes, but never got a return call. I call again, they say they will call me first thing in the morning to get it figured out, no return call. My wife calls one last time, they say they’ll check with management and call back in 2 minutes...can you guess what happened lol?? That’s right, no return callVery unprofessional and frustrating for what was a potential customer.

Started with Terry from Terry Benz. He was helpful and directed me towards John Rowe. From the very beginning John made the process easy for me. Even dropping off and picking up the cars I test drove from my house. I barely had to leave my house and during this time it meant alot. Got a great car at a great price. Norma in finance was so sweet and made sure I understood everything. Thank you guys so much.

I found a vehicle that I was interested in here at Bill Walsh Chevrolet. I called Friday evening and talked to Julianne Sharp, she asked for pictures of my trade which I sent to her over the weekend. On Monday we talked and agreed on a price for the trade, she then sent me a credit app and I sent that in late Monday afternoon. Next day nothing, no call, Wed morning I get a text saying Hey Bruce, sorry for the delay, I checked with my manager this morning about your application and was going to check with finance on that for me, as soon as I have an update I will give you a call. I get a text in the middle of the afternoon, Hey Bruce, I just got off the phone with my manager and he stated that some one came in yesterday, and is currently pending finance on that Navigator with their bank, once I have an update on the availability I can let you know. Would you be interested in a similar vehicle?. Now my question is, wasnt I dealing on that Navigator pending finance before they were? and why wasnt I given any respect as a customer. I called and asked for Julianne Sharp, well shes not in this afternoon, I will transfer you to the manager, 2 minutes later shes back on the line, evidently the manger doesnt care enough to address the issue, So the lady then comes back and stutters through several sentences that I could even understand, so I wished her a good evening and hung up. If I could give less stars I would, these people are not honest or reliable.

We made a girls day of it and couldn’t have left happier. I purchased my first vehicle from a dealer here in March. Terry was an amazing salesman and was super personable throughout the whole experience. Genuine advice and has gone above and beyond as he has continued to help me and answer questions AFTER purchasing. He didn’t stop caring after the sale and that meant a lot! The service department staff is friendly and give detailed reports so you know what’s going on with your vehicle. So glad I went to this dealer!

My husband and I were looking for a used camaro convertible and saw they had one so went to look at it. Never have I met such a condescending, arrogant jerk for a salesman as we did at Bill Walsh. He was not willing to negotiate at all on price and basically told us that since we had drove for an hour to get there we knew we would buy the car from him. No way! We got in the car and left. Horrible experience!

This Is the first car I bought on my own. Going through a divorce is horrific but it’s only complicated by the fear of securing a vehicle loan on your own. I went to Bill Walsh Streator and talked to salesman Terry Rogers who assured me they were there to help. Turns out it wasn’t just a line... not only did they sell me a beautiful 2019 Sonata at an amazing price their financial officer Norma Vazquez made it quick and painless. Needless to say I drove off the lot in less time than it takes me to do a single lap through Target. I wholeheartedly recommend a trip to the Walsh Streator store no matter what your vehicle needs are. Kyle S.I first wanna say Norma and Steve were awesome. We handled 95% of the deal over the phone and email since I had a far drive to the store. We did paperwork upon arrival relatively quick. They gave me a great price on my trade sight unseen. Had a minor issued we discovered which they fixed and delivered my new vehicle. I understand the van was marked WAY down. My only gripe was it really could have used tires. They are borderline but is what it is on that matter. Because of that 4 stars. But highly recommended store.Update: had some issues with our van caused quite a bit of inconvenience for my wife and kids mainly. All this is all on the service department honestly very shady repair practices. We ended up getting out of the van due to ongoing issues from when we got it. Norma again went above and beyond to get my wife happy and in a safe vehicle.

Bought a car off these knuckle heads, which im happy with, but they ran 6 different credit checks - which negatively impacted my credit score. Finally they quoted an interest rate of 10%. Which gave them a 3% rebate from they lender. However the note will be paid back within 6 months. Thus the lender will chargeback the rebate to the dealer. DO NOT LET THIS OUTFIT SECURE FINANCING FOR YOU. it will be inflated. Secure your own financing if you buy off these guys.

Service was great. But when I bought my car a few months ago I was told my trade ins tires were worn. However on the car I bought I already had to replace the front tires because they became BALD and the service guy said it wont be long before I have to replace the rear tires as well. I think my tires on my trade were better than on the one I bought, yet I was penalized for it.LOVE Bill Walsh service though!!

Before getting there I had spoken with several employees on the phone who all were friendly, courteous, and extremely helpful getting me the information I requested and changing appointment times. Id give 0 if it was an option. I walked in to the streator branch and asked the sales manager if they would honor online prices i demanded a guarantee of that and they gave it. Until i said i wanted the vehicle and they refused to sell it to me for that price

There are always dealers that are pleasant and easy to work with, and stand behind their words and promises, but unfortunately this is not one of them. Been almost 2 months and still waiting for what I was promised. I have now decided to take care of it myself, and pay it out of pocket, basically because I am tired of getting the run around. So they won this match, but I will just make sure never to step foot on any Bill Walsh lot again.

At first Jerry and Terry were willing to work with us. But Your customer service at the location is horrible. We drove almost 2 hours to look at a car that we seen on car fax. The car was nice until we got there.  When they brought out the car we noticed a big dent on the drivers side which was not in the pictures noted on car fax. We were willing to take this car but the check engine light came on they say when he pulled the car up. The return call after we left and settled on a price was not imformative nor did it sound like your guys wanted to sell us this car. After they received the price on what it would cost to fix the check engine light was all on you guys. After your quote was signed on paper, that price should have been honored. When we called back to see what was wrong with the car there was no effort to find out what was wrong. All he said, thats all they told me and the price is now 6900. This was a whippy move to say it nice. You had a car sold but now your dealer will be on my list of reviews at one of the worst dealers anyone can deal with.

I recently purchased a Buick Enclave from the Bill Walsh dealership in Streator, Illinois. From the minute we stepped foot into the building I knew that this was the place to be. Everyone of the sales people we encountered greeted us with genuine kindness and respect. Pete, our sales person was the best offering to stay later or meet with us anytime. He went over and beyond being a salesperson.This was the sixth vehicle I have purchased from this dealership and I wont go anywhere else. If I could of given them no stars I would have. Ist of all I called to make sure the vehicle I was interested in was physically there, was told it was there, made appointment to test drive the vehicle. Got to the dealer which it took me over an hour and half to get there and was told that the vehicle was on a test drive with another customer and it was likely that they would be buying it. This is a pattern for this dealer, they tell u the vechicle you are interested in is still available, and when you get there they tell u its not there hoping they came sell you another one, which they didnt. Poor customer service, liars, and I will never waste my time with them again.

I called on a Monday and they were able to get me in the next day. I arrived early and was given a ride to work. When they had to order the part, they returned my car to work and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Again, I arrived early, was given a ride to work and my car was dropped off. It made a worrisome problem a breeze. Ross and Whitey were most accommodating and my car is back in tip-top shape!!

I bought a truck from this place, and it leaked every fluid possible. They made a blatant attempt to hide it, then said the previous owner must have had the engine cleaned and thats why the engine was spotless when I looked at the truck. Luckily the bank that financed the deal wouldnt pay for the truck so I got my money back.

This dealership is really really really good at lying and wasting your time. They have zero respect for customers. PS setting up an appointment is useless, they wont respect your time and will lie and look confused and point the finger at another employee to take the spot light off of them. AVOID at ALL COSTS.

Was extremely disappointed with the mechanics dept. they quoted us a price to fix my sons car and said they had the tools and know how to do the job after we hauled the car there they then told us it was going to be double the cost although they did honar the first quote given BUT they then told us oh we dont have the tools so that will be an extra 80.00 because you have to buy the tools so we picked the car up hauled it back home and fixed it our selves in 25 mins for the low price of 32.00. We will unfortunately never go back there or recommend them to anyone.

My wife and have purchased cars from Bill Walsh in the past. Always great experiences. We just purchased a car in May. It has been back to the dealership 5 times. Toyota is purchasing the car back however, I purchased an extended warranty, clear coat etc from the dealership. They will not return my full investment in a car that is faulty even though they are getting the car returned to them. The sales manager has been uncooperative and insulting. I have lost countless hours of sleep, business time and family time because I have had to return to this place multiple times. Do not purchase from here unless you want a nightmare if things dont work out at no fault by you. I will be posting this review on every Bill Walsh page and review site.

They have the best people in thier shop.they fix your vehicle right the first time. Always pay attention to detail and really take pride in thier work. Whitey and Russ know thier customers and care about you. Your never just a number.

Was ignored for 22 hours... i just wanted some numbers on a 2018 camaro that i test drove there. How rude!

Lied constantly made me wait for hours with lying to me constantly sales manager kept lying asked for more of a down payment and I kept matching what was asked and opted getting the run around finance manager at streator location was the same way.

The entire experience that I have had with this company has been negative. Bill Walsh is a crook and lives up to the stereotype of a bad car salesman, crooked, sleazy with dirty business practices. I leased a car from them and was in an accident. The entire claims process was shady and having to deal with Donna from the office was a nightmare. They argued with me relentlessly and failed to provide any information that I had requested from them. I would not suggest this company to anyone.

Where do I start?I gave these guys a shot after visiting and having a terrible experience at the Ottawa Lincoln dealership. This sister store and management was terrible.I called the customer service number and explained the situation. She insisted I go visit Terry in streator is the sales manager he is awesome. He knew exactly what was done incorrectly and what we needed to do to make this work. He was very knowledgeable and very patient. He took the time to keep account I was 2 hours away and I purchasing a car for my wife and I. (She wasnt present)So he took my trade let me try a car to see if my wife would like the car. He insisted that I not jump into that car. We finally found the car and got bank to take care of me on the first try. I ended up getting a brand new 2018 malibu I got the most for my trade in and the best price for the car. Couldnt be happier with the service i recieved. I am glad I gave Terry another shot, will definitely be back for future vehicles.Special shoutout to the other Terry.
