As far as Michaels goes this one is slightly above-average. Customer service remains elusive but when you finally do find a customer service rep he or she is quite knowledgeable and willing to help. The prices are in line with every other Michaels in Northeast Ohio. I remain particularly impressed with the Custom Framing and arts studio. They even have some pieces from local artists. Good place to get fake flowers especially if one is doing some of cemetery decorations. The line at the checkout almost always moves quickly. If its a major holiday the lines are quite long.

I’ve come to this location lots of times and had overall great experiences. I placed a pick-up order because I didn’t want to have to go through the entire store to find one thing. Took over 1.5 hours to even receive the item. Employee told me it would take a bit to get the item. Employee also was very rude when I asked about my order. DON’T TO CURBSIDE PICK-UP AT THIS LOCATION. UNRELIABLE

Went there because they claimed on the internet they sold cotton rag paper, which I needed to make my wife a gift for our second wedding anniversary. It seemed entirely reasonable they would carry such a thing, considering the business they are in.I stopped recently one evening and left my phone in the car, as I do sometimes. After spending 5-10 minutes looking for the paper myself, I figured Id ask an employee to point me in the right direction. Unfortunately I asked a kid whod only worked there for a week. No big deal. They were very pleasant and eager to help despite their not knowing themselves what it was I was looking for, which I appreciated.What drew my ire was after the clerk put a call into their manager on duty, the manager had never heard of it either, and basically said We mustnt have it, which is absurd, since cotton rag paper isnt a terribly obscure thing.So I went back out to my car, got my phone, and after some finagling was able to find the isle the illusive kind of paper I was searching for was in.While the new clerk was pleasant and I have no grievance with them, I was really put off that the supervisor didnt care to help either myself, the customer, or even the recent hire, successfully locate an item they did in fact have in the store.As much as I dislike using Amazon, it is experiences like this that make me understand why so many people dont even bother going to big box shops like this anymore. I wouldnt have either had I not been on a deadline and will certainly think twice before patronizing a Michaels again in the future.

I can usually find where I am looking for. Store is always clean and well organized.

I usually give Michaels 5 stars, because there is always good sales, friendly sales people, nice selection of seasonal crafts and decor. This visit I was in and out, very little seasonal was out, the store was in disarray, from what looks like resetting, hardly any staff.. I was GREATLY disappointed

Bright, cheerful. Unique items in almost every isle. Has what I want when I go there. I have to go back now. I forgot I want to re-learn how to macrame plant hangers. Ill bet they have some kits or raw materials

Im so used to Pat Catans its hard to get used to something else.The store is small but if you look around you could probably find what youre looking for.

There was not one cross stich kit or book in the entire store. There was stock in the isles.

I ordered ONE item for curbside pickup at 6a.m., by 6p.m. it still was not available. I was trying to avoid dragging my 3 children into a store for ornament hooks. When I called, the girl working was rude and dismissive. If Target had these in stock I would just order from them. Never shopping here again.

Placed an online order for curbside pickup. Get home and I got the wrong size shirts. Ordered 2T and got 3T. So I go to the store and tell them and they start returning it I ask if I can just exchange for the right size and they say no they have to return it. So then I go back to get the right size and they are completely sold out. Don’t sell things online that you don’t have in stock in store! Horrible customer service the manager was beyond rude and none of them were wearing their masks either. Thank god for old navy at least they have plain white tshirts in stock in all sizes!

This is a small store but they carry a nice variety of craft supplies. Their line of merchandise is always different than you see at the other local craft stores. They accept competitors coupons and also have many holiday items reduced now. I go here when I am looking for a special item for a project. They offer craft classes for kids too. Also have a rewards club. Close to store parking.

Usually has everything I need. Staff is great and super helpful and knowledgeable. A little on the pricey side but all art supplies are.

I could live in Michaels. I dare not work there because I would be paying you more than my salary. I love that you have everything and that the inventory keeps getting better. I would love to see more 70% off deals that would be amazing. Being an artist you need all the help you can get. And if you want me to keep coming back just keep sending me those coupons. Has everything you could need for crafting, workers are usually nice, respectful, patient, and know what youre looking for. They have everything from baking needs to resin work except for fabric.

Had what i needed. Got good things from the clearance including a digital camera for 7.99 that was 80.

This Michaels was well stocked, clean, organized and the staff is amazing! I love Michaels deals that they have and all the coupons that are available. When I am in need of something I am more than likely able to find it here. I also love their app and how efficient it is.

Selection and variety is great. The prices seem pretty high compared to online. But if you cant wait a few days for something then it might be worth it. Workers seem to be doing their own thing not accessible.

I’m usually not one to write reviews ever. I went to find sculpting tools for my daughter and the first employee that I asked told me that I need to find an employee that works there that knows where they are. Didn’t make eye contact with me and didn’t offer any help whatsoever. The second person that I went up to had a complete attitude like I was pulling her away from something even though she was just standing around. So I was very gracious and said thank you when she showed me where it was and she was just so incredibly unfriendly And seemed very bothered that I asked her to help me. Like I said I don’t write reviews ever but the lack of effort and friendliness really turned me off.

Manager was rude and would not accept back a $12 product that was defective. Admitted that he had the power to refund, but was choosing not to.

Very over priced! They bought our wonderful local craft store and shut it down. The local place was much cheaper and had more to choose from!

Pros: they had all the craft supplies I needed! Hooray!Not Pros: The store is cramped, shelves overflowing and set so closely together I feel uncomfortable walking through the store, like Im going to knock everything over.The staff are cordial, but not overly friendly. Service was slow at online pickup and signage pointing the way to online pickup doesnt exist. Spoiler alert: you go to the far kind of back of the store where frames are for online orders.

A lot of lovely crafty, artsy, fun things! Prices are higher than Patcatans which is a common complaint from all the creative people I know. Anyways, I went in on a Monday to get a few mats cut. The associate didn’t seem very interested in helping me. She did explain that she was super busy with some high paying custom orders. I get it. She told me it would take 2 days for my mats to be completed because of the other orders ahead of me. She said she’d usually have time to do it while I waited but couldn’t today. Ok.. I get it. So I waited a couple days to get my very simple 3 mats cut and completed. Upon receiving my mats I was very disappointed. They were very sloppy with cut lines coming from the corners of the opening. One of the mats I had to shove into the frame to get in as it was slightly too large for the frame. I’m really upset because I waited 2 days for something that took them 5 minutes to make. I guess if you’re not spending tons of money on your framing needs you just don’t really matter. Go somewhere else.

Went to a number of Michaels store. This one was a little disappointing, the yarn section wasnt as the other store. Nice associates, they have plenty of crafts, the registers are different, they are like Pat Catans. Not a fan of the set up is.

I was able the find everything I needed and the staff was able to answer all of my questions

The nearest one to ashland ohio. we wanted to look around and my girlfriend liked the yarn selection for her projects.

Stock situation pathetic for fall decor, no stock

I was really disappointed that they didnt have the size seed beads I was looking for after their app had indicated that they were available. Then I bought what I thought were metal beads on sale only to be told that someone had mislabeled the shelf. Shouldnt the store have honored the posted price? The checkout staff was totally uninterested and not helpful. I did actually find someone to help me on the floor for once (usually only checkout seems to be staffed). He told me my option was to order through the website. I ended up going to Pat Catans to find what I needed. Its too bad Michaels is closing down Catans, which has a much better selection of jewelry related supplies.
