Horrible customer experience. If you do business with the company do it at your own risk. Youve been warned. The owner is shady, dishonest and only looks out for himself. They are expensive and cut corners in quite literally any aspect possible in order to make a buck. I would never in 1 million years do business here again. I honestly hope this post saves someone out there.
Quality of work is acceptable, however prices are exorbitantly high and the owner is difficult to work with at best.
This crew has some real talent with a forward looking vision.I am a real attention to detail kind of guy, and these guys are the same.If your looking for quality work and attention to detail, these are your go to guys. Brian and crew have the vision to build cool boats, not to compare, but like West Coast Customs, but with boats.DanoINTELLIGENT YACHTS
Top notch service they helped me out so much getting the part for my boat. I live in Iowa. hands down the best help.
Great company! Honest, reliable, professional and fair. Not to mention they are also very capable of completing some amazing custom work. I had my 22 Robalo livewell tanks completed redone and customized with manifolds. They did an amazing job. The bait is happy and so am I.
I had very simple work done and had to have them do the work over within a week because of 3 different issues AND HE WANTEDTO CHARGE ME ADDITIONAL LABOR BECAUSE HE MESSED UP THE FIRST TIME TO FIX THE MISTAKES ! Work done was : 3 seat cushions reupholstered and a pre-made Bimini installed, pretty simple right for a “customs marine” shop? If it can’t last 1 week what type of longevity will I get out of this ? Issue 1 - he didn’t secure my leaning post cushion properly and caused my son to fall off and hurt himself twice. Issue 2 - one seat cushion (that I could tell) was installed incorrectly and had to be fixed since they weren’t glued down properly and the cushions were deformed. Both issue 1 and 2 he admitted himself were not installed correctly. Issue 3 - the Bimini cleat came unscrewed and flew off while driving even with the Bimini top down. Notice several safety issues here? We agreed to use holes that were there from a previous Bimini so we didn’t have additional holes in the boat but they left some old hardware on as well as didn’t properly anchor it to the boat. The owner Brian is also tough to deal with and was quite rude when inquiring about new business and other issues during install. The one positive is Tara there was very kind.
Awsome place! Excellent service!Fast & reliable🤗
These guys really did a number on my old 1978 Mako 235. They took my project boat and really brought it farther than I ever thought possible. They did such a great job, I got on offer from someone who wanted to buy it that I couldnt pass up. Im looking for the next one now and Ill surely be bringing it to these guys first thing! :)
We help Marine Customs Unlimited Market some of their used marine-related inventory.Charlie has been very detailed and informative helping us keep track of offers, price changes and overall inventory management.Brian (the owner) has been fantastic from day one allowing us flexibility in pricing these used items, giving us feedback on all offers (and stories because there are always stories:) and hes also very great full with payment when these items do sell.We hope all our marine listing clients will be like Brian and the team at Marine Customs Unlimited. Thanks MCU!
I love working here! The people are great and its amazing to see the completed projects.
Brian and the crew at marine customs un limited can handle all of your boat needs. They offer 1st class service and honest hard working repairs to your boat. Brian was kind enough to work with me on a boat I wanted to buy from him. They also did an excellent Job on the installation of a fuel tank. Whats amazing if you go there is to look in the books and look at the photos Before & After There are Boats that look like trash Boats that look unrepairable .Brian and staff at Marine Customs unlimited make them look new. 5 PLUS STARS GUYS AND THANK YOU, CAPTAIN BRUCE AND TANNERBilly Bones Bait n Tackle, Port St Lucie and Stuart Florida
Beware of this company. Con artists at best. They misrepresent the work they claim to have completed. They returned my boat having not completed all the work they billed me for. I also paid for a paint job that was never performed and my boat was actually returned with large orange spots all over it. The owner Brian also insisted on half of my payment be in cash which I see now why he did that. I have had to pay for the actual work to also be completed by another provider. Please accept my review as a warning to protect yourself from doing business with this company. I have much more info to add should Brian choose he wants to rebut my review of his company.
The guys at MCU have the experience, knowledge and confidence that far surpasses anyone I have ever dealt with before. Combined with over the top customer service, MCU is hands down the best choice for all of your boating needs.
Brian and the staff are very professional and courteous. They pay attention to the customer and go the extra mile to make you happt.
Upfront - Quick to Respond - Covers All Details helping me understand the Why behind the What and more. I am a contractor that works for MCU and i can appreciate all the above as most clients i have are not available, dont want to know the details about what i do and more but Brian Does. Hes detailed, quick to make a decision, passionate about what he does, experienced (and has the stories/happy-clients/rolodex to prove it) and tells me why he does or needs what he needs/does. Being in business myself of digital marketing for 15+years that is a very respectful trait that most all business owners i have met simply do not have. Bravo Brian!
We love watching the show and appreciate all the walk thru pointers and being able to see the boats go thru the whole process. It really inspires me to work on my own boat. Thanks Guys
Very professional and courteous. Pleasure doing business with them.
Great people! Even better work!
They block the entrance to Garden street with boats and fork lifts and customer parking. They create Dangerous conditions and ignore NO PARKING signs. Leaving customers boats out by the road. When they utilize every square inch(even when its not their own, evident by their neighbors across having to put out Cones to stop them from parking there because NO PARKING signs werent sufficient) it causes drivers entering Garden Street from A1A to slam on the brakes to avoid them using their forklift, and the boats and trailers that petrude onto the roadway not to mention pedestrians and other drivers exiting Garden street who are also avoiding their obstacles. So caution when entering Garden Street from Southbound A1A, on top of trying to crossover 2 lanes of traffic you have make sure they arent out shuffling boats in their overcrowded lot. Will update with pictures or delete review when they discontinue their dangerous practice of utilizing every inchUpdate 7/8/2019: Yeah they still have no regard for anyones safety, I uploaded pics to show what people have to deal with on a daily basis. Beware using this company as I am forced to be in close contact with code enforcement, leaving your boat with them it just might get towed
I took my 17’ Scout here for an insurance repair. Their team is extremely professional. When I picked the boat up I could not tell where the damage had been. The boat looks better now than when it was new. Thank you!
