Delicious chocolate chip cookies that are only available on Thursdays and Fridays between 1pm and 2pm. Thanks to the heads up from our tour guide Sandy from the City of Stuart. I also enjoyed the Guinness truffle and Frozen Mocha cold drink.

The staff was very friendly and the chocolate was incredible. The smell inside was incredible and although the chocolate was a bit pricey it was 100% worth it. I would highly recommend going here.

Chocolate heaven on every level! I come to Florida (from New York) a few times a year and this is hands down one of the most delicious chocolates I have eaten. Lots of favorites here to choose from, but my top fave is the white chocolate lemon with lemon sea salt which is like heaven on earth. Denise, the owner, is someone who will go the extra mile to make every customer feel special. Run...dont walk...and get your chocolate fix at Castronovo!!!

This is certainly a place for fine chocolates. They actually make their chocolate straight from the beans. So worth a visit.

Kind of militant about masks from behind their plexiglass fortress. I witnessed the owner arguing and refusing to serve a potential customer who was wearing a shield. No matter how good the product, if a customer doesnt feel welcome, theyre not going to stick around. I personally choose to spend money where customers feel welcomed without discrimination. I got what I came in to get, but nothing more, and I wont be back.

Castronovo is THE BEST bean to bar chocolate maker. Each bar has distinctly different flavors depending on where the cacao beans come from. You can taste a sample of each one, and you definitely should, to understand how varied the flavor profiles can be. They are all beautifully crafted with a very smooth, melt in your mouth texture. The dark milks are my favorite, and the white chocolate with lemon and salt is outstanding. The packaging is also beautiful and makes a great gift. Highly, highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing chocolate made by a chocolate chef. She buys chocolate bean from many countries and makes her bars, and individual bon bons. One of the best and we are chocolate gourmands. This isnt candy, real chocolate at its best. Worth the price.

Husband mentioned this little gem place located in downtown town stuart, from the moment you walk in, the staff super friendly, place is small but very clean and all different options, we decided to grab a mexican spice coffe with a shot of espresso, and let me tell you it was DELICIOUS

Where to begin? I was in Stuart for the week for work. My wife had read about Castronovo on a blog that said they were the best in Florida for chocolate. So I stopped in during a break one day and was amazed. Not just about the great smell, but the outstanding customer service. So very friendly and helpful. I made a sizable purchase to bring home to my wife and wanted to wait to write this review until after we sampled the goods. Everything we had was amazing! The cookies were excellent, as were the brownies. The chocolate bars were creamy and smooth. The truffle were rich and delicious. Definitely was glad I stopped in and highly recommend you do the same if youre in the area.

They have a dark milk chocolate that is unlike anything I have ever taste. It has the creamy texture of milk chocolate but with the dense, rich flavor of a premium dark. They ship with an ice pack to ensure it survives warm weather during transit. They also have the simplest and purest ingredients and dont use soy lecithin like most other chocolate bars.

Let me start by saying that likely every bar you eat at Castronovo will very likely be the best chocolate youve ever had in your life. And Denise is a fantastic person and great small business owner. Every bar she makes has a story behind it, and her work is masterful. Love is the secret ingredient: her love for the rain forest, the indigenous people who harvest the cacao, her love for the craft, and youll taste all of that ion every bar.That said i deducted one star because I was told that they had one day shipping in Florida and i placed an order on thursday night thinking it should make it by the weekend (as a birthday gift). It didnt ship until monday morning and didnt get to me until wednesday. So six days which made for a fairly belated birthday gift.

Castronovo Chocolate is something completely unique and special, its an experience that most do not get to taste in their lifetime. it is real chocolate, and when you taste real chocolate it will blow your mind. completely recommend, if you live close by or if you are visiting from far away, this is the place you need to see.

Delicious bean to bar chocolate, including vegan options. I was very happy to see that almost half of the bars contained no milk. We were lucky to visit when there was a vegan truffle option. It was made with juice from Honeybell oranges and it was so good! (Since the chocolate is made in batches, once they run out there arent more until they make more.)There were some dark chocolate peppermint bells, which unfortunately came in a pack with some milk chocolate (which we gave to our friends). It would be great if they came separately, because they were probably our favorite. Hubby got a Columbian chocolate bar, and I got this Puerto Rican bar. The staff was very helpful at offering suggestions on what we might like, including which chocolates were sweeter that the children might prefer.

Walking into this place is just..happiness! Staff is amazing, chocolate is the best ever (bean to bar, how can you go wrong?), coffee and chocolate drinks are delicious. If they made this into a space with tables I think that people would come in and sit/work/socialize just to resonate in the positive environment and of course, to eat the chocolate ;)

Wow! I assume it was the owner who warmly greeted me (and the other customers popping in), took my order, and when I asked, explainer the difference between Castronovo and a chocolatier. Here, you can watch as everything is done from scratch, from roasting to finished product. Tiny place, but what an asset to the downtown Stuart experience (Lyric Theater, galleries, restaurants, etc.). This is my new favorite source of chocolates!Bring a small cooler, with one of those cold packs, and a big Ziploc bag (to keep paper wrappers dry), if you might leave chocolates in your vehicle. The owner warned me about how readily this stuff turns to chocolate soup in a hot car. Luckily, I was going straight on, to my grand-aunts house, where the Truffles were a hit!

Denise Castronovo’s chocolate in St Port Lucie is an elegant and personal gem of a chocolate shop. Just fine high quality locally made chocolate are some here. The chocolate is “bean to bar” meaning she controls the rather difficult chocolate making process. This is a very impressive task and takes quite a bit of skill as l know from my own difficulties with making bars.Denise has had much greater success at making her chocolate then I did. According to her web site, she is the only U.S. female chocolate maker to have been awarded prizes at the International Chocolate Awards...ok she can do her hair flick now.Her bars win awards and are a work of art but my favorite is a hand rolled dark chocolate truffle they make periodically. Again, it is the sheer eloquence of the piece that sets her work apart. A hand rolled chocolate ganache, dipped in dark chocolate, it is full of flavor but so delicate its best enjoyed straight away on a summer’s day or you had better being a cooler. I’m pretty sure they are in limited supply as well so, get there in the morning or order ahead. Over all, because of its high quality, local focus, and craftsmanship this shop is among the best chocolate shops anywhere.

Wonderful location and an even better product. Their chocolate is world renowned and absolutely delicious. I really appreciate their collaborations with other local companies like Hanis Honey for their chocolate honey. I love having a chocolate company in Stuart!

Staff was so friendly and cheerful! It was a treat just to watch them working! Aside from a couple exquisite chocolate bars, I got the hot sipping chocolate which blew my mind it was so good! Im forever spoiled and cannot have regular hot cocoa anymore!

I have had a long running affair with chocolate. I love it, cant get enough of it, and dont mind paying extra for good quality. When I tasted Castronovos chocolate I was floored. Simply outstanding. I give it as gifts for birthday, Christmas, etc and it always brings a big smile to peoples faces.

Im addicted to this place, so happy we have this chocolate factory in our town. I am from Europe where Hersheys, Cadbury... could not stand a chance. So I grew up with good chocolate but Castronovo is by far my favorite. The owner, Denise, is very talented and dedicated, her chocolate really does taste amazing. I love the sipping chocolate as well (and I tried all the flavors) but I could do with less sweet flavors. Their coffee is ok, not great. Still, I would rather have an ok coffee with great chocolate than the other way round. Thanks for being here!

We are fortunate to have one of the top chocolate makers in the country here in little old Stuart! Castronovo is not a chocolatier like most chocolate companies in the country, but a true chocolate maker. Chocolatiers buy pre-made chocolate and remelt it while a chocolate maker actually roasts the beans and grinds them. Their chocolate is what true chocolate tastes like and it has more antioxidants in it than any berries. This is not the over sugared emulsified chocolate we grew up with, but the true healthy for you chocolate that we should be consuming.

This is the worst tasting chocolate I have ever tried. Its not edible and its very expensive. $9 for a 2.2 oz bar!! Tried it and its the worst. They sold their one bar for today.
