Initial appointment takes some time to schedule. Getting a text or an e-mail response to a question is pretty slow. Joe Hill, the estimator is very professional and can be dealt with late into the night. He is also responsive and helpful with the customers concerns. Kern the installer is a very nice person and does fantastic work. The manufactured windows quality is above average. Since the price is very competitive, some cleanup and touchup work is expected from the customer after installation, but it is no big deal. Warranty coverage is unclear. The four stars represent only Joes and Kerns efforts and work. Office coverage and communication is absolutely terrible and unresponsive. Written checks can take up to three weeks to cash! Looks like they just dont need to be paid on time.

I discovered Monterrey Glass in a coupon booklet and everything they advertised was true. Good price, personal and helpful design hints and clean, prompt and professional servicemen. The owner Joe did a follow up call to see if I was pleased or needed anything to tweak the installation. I told him it was perfect and I would recommend him to anyone in need of shower enclosure. He stopped by to “thank me”.

Beyond helpful. They went above and beyond. This is an old-school glass shop. The type of place that you can shake someone’s Hand and it still mean something these days, Very rare. A real human being answers the phone and an actual person cuts the glass, not a machine. These guys are true craftsman and know what they’re doing. They let me walk through the warehouse and pick the glass myself. That made excellent recommendations and even help me set the glass into a frame that I bought online myself. Typically most glass shops would’ve tried to sell me their kit for a huge markup. I am only writing this review because I was shocked to see how quick people are to write negative comments but rarely write good reviews when they have a great experience. Maybe we should all return to those days were a handshake means something and good service is appreciated.

I took a motorcycle mirror from my 1986 Suzuki 750 that I am restoring in to Monterey Glass to have the glass replaced. The original mirror had faded. I was assured they could do the job so I left the mirror and returned a few hours later. Their idea of a replacement was to Glue a new piece of mirror over top of the existing mirror. Not thinking I paid him and left. What an idiot I was. After I got in the car I realized what a crappy sub par job they did. Thank fully the glue was not set so I removed the jagged edge piece of mirror. I went back the next day after I had removed the existing piece of glass from the mirror frame to give them another chance. When I showed the man from Monterey glass what I needed and that I had removed the glass mirror that he had installed he told me he could not do that and what did I expect for $10.00.I never did get a refund. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. RUDE AND THEY DO NOT KNOW THE MEANING OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. Believe me it is not the money like he said it was only $10.00. I went to Beacon Glass Co. in Juniper Florida and they did a fantastic job. I gave them 1 star only because I have to in order to post

When you move into a new community, you never know where to go for excellent service, a fair price, and professional work. Sometimes you pay for your mistakes, but this time we got lucky the first time and went to Monterey Glass Specialists. YES ! They knew how to do the job, what kind of glass to use, how to finish it, and they were courteous, interested and patient in the process. Wonderful results, and ready a day earlier than we were promised for a very good price. Now, to find a plumber etc. etc.

I called to order a mirror on a Thursday and Monday they called to install it. They made it a simple process. No hassles. Thank you for the great service.

My lawn guy broke the slider glass two days before Dorian was to hit Hobe Sound. I called everyone and nobody answered. I called Monterey Glass and the person that answered confidently said that they could put a new piece of glass in if I brought the Frame in before they closed at 4:30pm. This was at 2pm with the hurricane bearing down. At 4:45 I was back at my house with the repaired slider and put it into place! I could not be more grateful to this local business.

Only because you have to give 1 star. Have politely called for 90 days to have them fix a window, understood when the hurricanes hit it would be a while, but when you get told to stay home we will be there on a Thursday, then two weeks later you call back to see what happened and they respond we have your ticket will get to you may be late next week. Any business that is over four months out is not one to call.

Awesome shower doors & installation. The installers are wonderful & skilled. Office is a bit chaotic (or I just stopped in at a bad time) that is why I minused 1 star.

Appointment quickly set to replace broken window glass. Crew was efficient and clean. Reasonable price for service provided.

The workmanship was fine. I hired Arnold for a simple one pane replacement and was involved. I submitted the check in the mail for payment and Arnold threatened to go to the homeowner to Lein the property after 5 days!!!!!! What a joke this company is. I wil NEVER use them again.

If your looking for someone which WILL NOT stand behind their work this is your guy. They installed a glass shower door for me and it keeps sliding down coming into contact with stationary glass. All I got when I ask them to come and adjust/fix door was weve got a ticket made on you. Very rude on phone after they get your money. Take my advise and find someone else.

These guys are typical New York scamsters now working in south Florida. Bad attitude and terrible workmanship. Stay far away.

Friendy fast service.Very good price for two glass tops for some tables we just bought. Highly reccomend.

On my last visit, they eagerly helped me find a very thin diameter flat screen spline, available no where else, from their personal supply so I could finish replacing a panel on my screened-in patio. On my most recent visit, there was only 1 employee, who said he was not able to find the spline I needed, as he didnt know where it was stored. I asked him if he could make a phone call to the individual that knew, and he said I cant. I wont be able to reach him at this time. But you can come back tomorrow morning. I told him it was over a 20 mile drive that wasnt easy for me to make, but he did not seem to care.
