Try this place for the first time and was impressed- its 25 minutes from my house but Ill be making the drive they have excellent Steaks amongst other things.

I also read the good and bad reviews, but I decided to see for myself. The people were very nice. The place is always busy (which says something about the place). The Italian sausage with fennel is the best I’ve ever had in Florida and the fresh mozzarella is excellent. Don’t let people sway you. Try it yourself!

The meat is always good, a little pricey and today I realized they have a gimmick for their bacon wrapped fillets. I bought a package of two bacon wrapped fillets 1.24 pounds at $32 a pound, the price came to $39.68. I realized I am paying fillet prices for the bacon. I took the bacon off of each fillet and weighed it And it was 4.4 ounces, that’s 4.4 ounces of fillet that I’m paying for but not getting. Those two pieces of bacon cost me $9.46! In the future I will ask for my fillets with no bacon. I’m pretty sure they know what they’re doing.

Great spot, one of the very few family owned spots left to get a real sandwich, high quality meats, GREAT FRESH MOZZERELLA, and they know how to slice their deli meats. The 5th star would be if they can just not talk politics at the shop. You alienate half your possible patrons by talking politics and having politically motivated signs, tokens lying around. A smart business should understand that half the country will not agree with the other halves political hero and maintain neutrality for sake of the business.

Have bought meat there before with no issues, asked one of the butchers for beef ribs like Fred Flintson style he got some out of a freezer and rings it up 24.90 . I bet there was not a half ounce of meat total.Went there today to see what could be done I was told that’s what you wanted, so basically I spent 25.00 bucks for dog treats Will not be going back whatever happened to the customer is right?

I read so many positive reviews about this market and some, downright terrible reviews. The best case scenario is to check it out for myself.On the day I decided to check it out, someone was walking out of the building mumbling about the quantity of meat on her ribs being less than adequate for the amount of money she spent. Again, I thought,.... complainers.I purchased prepared Chicken Francese (three pieces) 19.99, eggplant rollotini(five rolls) with a slice of boiled ham at 19.99 and wedding soup (two meatballs thrown into chicken soup with a few bits of pasta) at16.99. As you can guess from my stars, this metropolitan area resident was not impressed. Two stars are for decent sauce.. personalities... no comment....thanks, but no thanks. Guess I just prefer what I like..

I recommend this place all the time. Great cuts of meats. Service is fast, on point, and knowledgeable. They also have pre-made Italian dishes frozen that are just excellent. A hidden bonus is they sell bones with scraps of meat still attached that my dog absolutely loves. This place is perfect for having quick, delicious meals in the freezer or choice cuts for grilling, baking, or frying.

Thank goodness for Supreme Meats. Coming from NY, it was a great find. Prepared food was great. Good selections at the deli and nice staff.

Mixed reviews. Hit and miss with the meat. Sometimes good, sometimes not so good. For a premium price, I expect better cuts. Dont hold the meat more than a couple of days before using or it will spoil unless you freeze it first. The tall guy who seems to be the boss is not overly friendly. Taking my business elsewhere.

I used to get the frozen dinners if I was in a pinch. The other day I bought the eggplant parm, penne with broccoli, and one of those fried mozzarella with sundried tomato for $39.98. Eggplant was good, but the penne was not! Some of the Penne was so over cooked, and the broccoli too, was so overcooked it was like mush! When I brought it back, the owner John told me nothing was wrong with it, it was Al dente and the broccoli is supposed to be cooked. We went back and forth, and he then told me that I overcooked it! Typically, the customer is always right, not always though you should at least say hey sorry, or how about another one...not speak to a customer with disrespect and blame them! Very rude!!!!!! I hate having to give 1 star!!!!

If I could rate zero stars I would. Im a big time foodie and love to cook. I dont care what the product costs as long as the quality is there Im good. I purchased a complete prime strip loin (10 steaks @$172.00) in November and was extremely disappointed with the first 2 steaks. Marbling was non existent, steaks were tasteless and definitely NOT melt in your mouth as prime beef should be. I called the store and spoke with the owner and told him how disappointed I was. He told me he cut the loin himself and there was nothing wrong with the meat, he said the meat will be sweet and juicy to which I said hey I just ate a second one last night and I its not! He then said I dont know what you are looking for but that meat is perfect. I said so you are not going to do anything for me, he said no that meat is perfect. I said well youve lost me as a customer and you have not handled this the way a smart businessman would. Im still dumbfounded he argued with me and refused to even try and make me feel whole...how short sighted is that!! The customer is always right.I will take my business to The Butcher Shop now PLUS tell EVERYONE I know about my experience and to avoid Supreme meats at all costs.

Last of what we knew as “the neighborhood butcher”. You could order roasts seasoned & tied to your specification or discuss with the staff exactly what your looking to do in meal preparation. It’s what makes it a breed apart from Dupermarkets where you CANNOT GET WHAT YOU WANT; YOU CAN HERE!

Very upset, meat and food good. But you pay for it and I have no problem with that. I went there and they were making the sausage with fennel. Said I will come back. I looked at ground chuck also. It was 3.89. I came back and got my sausage and ordered 3 pounds of ground chuck. He totaled the bill and I thought it was high. I looked down and the price cards were gone. I asked the young tall guy with long dark hair that the price was 3.89. I told him I was sure.He then proceeded to lie and humiliate me in front of customers and it was that price all day. I was shocked. Called my buddy and he was there earlier and has a tag on his found chuck. 3.89. Which I now have, it is not the money but lying to your customer in front of a store full of people is wrong. I think I deserve an apology. Considering reporting them for price gouging. Rich p

I went here recently and asked for a Porterhouse Steak. I went home and the Porterhouse was actually a NY Strip. Not a big deal, mistakes happen. I call the store and they were incredibly rude. I talked to 3 people. Each of them kept telling me I didnt know what a porterhouse was and refused to refund me. They wanted me to come back and pay for another porterhouse! Screw this place, Ill find another butcher.

On April 1st, I bought a spiral cut frozen ham ($44). After I got home, I realized there was no expiration date on the package or tag. I called the store and was told they got it for “Christmas” and froze it before the expiration date. That meant the ham was about 3 1/2 to 4 months old. Since you should only keep a ham in the refrigerator for a few days and in a freezer for 2 months, this was clearly outdated. There solution to the problem was to hang up on me.Obviously, they care little about customer satisfaction.

I purchased 2 Delmonico steaks $43.89 and I could have gotten the same at Walmart for a quarter of the price, they were terrible..will never go back. And they acted like I was bothering them, no thank you or come back soon...

Recommend everything here! Everyone thinks a standalone butcher is going to be expensive but the quality is worth it so Ill pay an extra 50 cents a pound for 1-1/2 thick pork chops. The chicken cordon bleu is packed full and so easy to prepare.

This place is tremendous. The meat is exceptional and the service outstanding. Italian American from Philadelphia whose traveled to visit family in Italy his whole life I know what people are looking for in meat and in specialty products. You want bistecca alla fiorentina they got it, you want braciole they got it, you want acciughe salate they got it, you want marmellata di fichi they got it. Just go. They got you.

Xmas Eve running out of time I called them to wait for me because I wanted some meat for dinner.First they were very polite and helped me but the most important is that the quality of the products is unique.I bought lamp leg, top sirloin and grounded beef. By far the best quality meat I had for 6 years living in the USA. Good job guys

I have been getting the Amish turkeys from Supreme Meats for about 9 years and I have NEVER been disappointed. Whats more, my Thanksgiving guests always exclaim about how delicious and moist the turkey is. I would never buy a turkey anywhere else.

Good prices, decent selection. The staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful. I was a bit confused that a butcher shop didnt have any chicken thighs, but Ill give them the benefit of the doubt and presume they were just out of stock. Their Italian sausage was delicious, but the hot was not spicy at all. Given that Florida is the geriatric capital of the world Ill give them a pass on this as well since Im sure a 90 year old retiree has shaken his fist in impotent rage at his perceived spice level of table salt...I have every intention of returning because, quite frankly, my only other local option for meat is Publix or Winn Dixie. Hopefully they can accomodate reasonable requests for certain cuts or slices. Now if they only carried fresh seafood or wild game Id be set.
