Ive brought my car to Mark for repairs multiple times over the last 3 years. Hes repaired suspension problems, fixed my brakes and provided general maintenance. Mark does the same work as the dealership for half the price.He does quality work, and provides great service. I trust him with absolutely everything about my car.It is so refreshing to find a mechanic that is unfailingly honest and always has the customers best interest in mind.If you need a mechanic you can stop looking. Mark is great - honest, reasonably priced, and he gets the work done when he says he will. He is very professional and strives to make sure the client is satisfied. You would be hard pressed to find a better shop to service your car. Extremely happy to have found this place.

We have an aging Mercedes that needed multiple items according to the dealer. Mark looked at the estimate and the car. For one of the items he proposed an alternative method of repair which significantly reduced the cost. For the other items he was able to offer aftermarket parts at a cost savings. Overall he performed the repairs at a significant savings. The work was done quickly with Mark asking about our needs for the vehicle also. Overall I think it was excellent work, a professional interaction and I am completely satisfied.

This shop is so great that I drive all the way from Cambridge to Sudbury to have my car serviced by Mark. Mark and Eddie are car magicians! I live 20 or so miles away from Alexander Automotive Services (AAS) but my brother lives right up the street from them. Luckily for me, my brother is also a customer of AAS, and he turned me on to them. Having your car serviced at AAS is a no brainer; when I bring my (and my Moms) car in for service they always demonstrate that they have both my cars performance and my customer experience as their main goals. I really feel like Ive stepped into another era, where professionalism and courtesy are at the forefront of the customer experience. I unhesitatingly and highly recommend that you consider AAS for all of your auto servicing needs, it is well worth the trip!

Mark always provides excellent professional service for my car, and is always helpful and pleasant as well. It is satisfying to know my old Toyota is in expert hands when I leave it with him.

Mark is amazing. I’m a perfectionist with my car and am frequently dissatisfied with other mechanics. I own a high end BMW that’s aging above 100k miles. Based on the quotes I get from the BMW dealership down the street (literally), Mark saves me $3k-$4k per year with work that’s on par or sometimes better than the dealer. Having a mechanic you can trust is invaluable.

Went in for the first time on a friends recommendation. I made an appointment over the phone for about a week ahead of time. Pleasant phone manners and professional. When I arrived they had my info written in the book so did not have to go through it again.This is not a fancy shop with a large waiting room, expect to drop your car off.The work was completed in a few hours and I was on my way again.Next service my car needs Ill be bringing it back.

Rarely write reviews but Mark has been so generous with his time and expertise, that I feel compelled...My first experience with Mark was on the phone. I was calling from the Volvo dealership because I had a feeling I was being taken for a ride and Mark patiently went through my options with me. In the end, I realized I was indeed paying a premium at Volvo but I wasnt getting as taken as I had thought. He could have been less honest to get my business but he wasnt.That led me to go to him when I had a flat tire. I explained that I was a New Yorker, hadnt had a car for long (basically didnt know what I was doing...). He could have told me the tire was ruined and I needed a new one, charged me a lot of money and I would never have known the difference. But he didnt. He took my tire off, fixed it, had it done in no time, and put it back on for me... for $26.That was definitely worth a positive review in my opinion. Thanks, Mark!

Wasnt sure what to expect had no other option but to go here because my car broke down. But honestly I cant imagine any other place I would have rather gone. They are so nice, assessed my car the day I brought it in and within a day I was driving it home. Never met a friendlier mechanic in my life. He is realistic and prices you cant beat I had a quote from a few other places around and his estimate knocked the others out of the park. Most importantly my car feels amazing. Drives perfect. Excellent service, I highly recommend. Mark spent a long time trying to diagnose and fix a problem with the gear selector of my automatic transmission (which the Audi dealer had previously failed to fix properly). He is very conscientious and his prices seem reasonable. I have an older vehicle Im just trying to keep going for another year, and he has not tried to up-sell me on products or services which werent really necessary, and offered a fair assessment as to whether it was safe to skip some repairs.

This shop is what all mechanics should strive to be like. He was very personable and friendly. After I dropped my car off to get the brake pads changes, he even offered to give me a ride back to work! Definitely coming back with any problems I have in the future as well.

If you are looking for a mechanic shop that really wants what is best for you as the customer, this is the place. I won’t take our vehicles anywhere else.

I brought a used vehicle to this shop for a pre-inspection before purchasing it. Besides some minor complaints, it was given a clean bill of health. On this advice I purchased the vehicle. Within 3 months I had discovered roughly $2,500 dollars worth of repairs, none of which had been caught by the pre-inspection performed by Mark.Id love to give this place a good review, as Mark was very friendly and took the time to answer quite a few of my questions, but I simply am unable to do so based upon the service received.

I rarely leave reviews, but had to share my experience working with Mark at Alexander Automotive. Talk about going above and beyond! Although I needed a battery change (even though AAA told me it was my starter), the service was excellent - Mark was a pleasure to work with and expenditious in getting my Pilot back to me! He was professional, conscientious and really did go the extra mile for a simple battery change. He took the initiative and called the Honda dealership to get some reset code that was needed. Sudbury and surrounding towns are lucky to have Mark and his stop in town! I am so happy to have found my shop for any car problems/issues going forward. Highly recommend and prices very fair.

Absolutely unresponsive. Called for an appointment and an estimate so I could deal locally. The mechanic said that he could do neither right then but he would call me back. took all of my info for phone and car. No call back. I also filled out an electronic form from their website for the same thing. Also no answer. Maybe they are no longer in business.
