Moved out of the area so I don’t stop by as much. However after trying to have a key made at two other hardware stores with no avail, I found myself back at Town Line. They were attentive and went above and beyond. The Key they made wound up working better than the original key I gave them. They’ve earned my business and the drive.

They always go above and beyond! So many of our DIY projects would’ve gone horribly wrong without their help. Online videos are great for an overview, but Town Line staff answer questions and get into home-specific help. And they always seem to stock whatever we need. Grateful to have them.

Town Line Hardware is my first stop for home remodeling supplies and paint. Family owned, professional and friendly, they carry a surprisingly large range of products - and the knowledge to back them up. Today, for example, I needed a custom color match for a Celect composite trim color. No problem -- they have a colorimeter scanner and the expertise to tweek the settings for an excellent match.

I try to buy local, and have frequented Town Line Hardware for a few years now. Today, I went in with a paint lid to match paint for some touch up work on doors and baseboards. I asked for a quart, but the man at the counter told me that because it was oil-based, I would need a gallon to correctly match the color. I didnt want to spend that much money, but I also wanted the color match, so I agreed to the gallon. While waiting, another customer (a painter) told me that the paint - because it was oil - would NEVER match, and that oil paints were not longer recommended for use on wood. His sentiments were then echoed by others who worked in the store. So, now I had a $65 can of paint - more than I wanted in the first place - and it STILL wasnt going to match. And yet, I was asked to pay for it anyway. I did- very begrudglingly, and left the can behind because I cant use it.I would have assumed that the person who told me the quart wouldnt work would have also known that the color wasnt going to work - period - before mixing a $65 gallon of paint I cant use. Im extremely disappointed and will not be returning to that store.
