Great material selection, friendly and helpful staff. Really great lumber yard. The poplar boards I got are as straight as they possibly can be. Couldnt ask for more.

After scouting lumber yards for Premium Mahogany for my deck, I was pointed to Chelmsford Lumber, who is an affiliate of Sudbury Lumber. They said that their partner Sudbury Lumber was the place where I would find such quality. Well went directly to them meet a front counter person who is without a doubt the best in the business, and knows her business well. I ordered enough for a 16X14 deck and a few additional sticks for the steps, delivery was great but figuring with all the great things said I would not have to look over their shoulder when dropping $2700+ . Well when it was laid down and coated, I and the carpenter took a final review WOW WORM HOLES, SAP LINES,, etc.. Approached the manager Scott and he would not help with replacing the ~12 out of ~30 sticks. Called even stopped by but could not get in the front or back door NO one shovel the ice/snow just through sand down. Called from the car(100% disabled USN), some young male said he, Scott, would call back NEVER DID. Call Timberline Lumber Gloucester they have the quality, and they do call back.....

We went in to look at Trex decking. The gentleman assisting was both knowledgeable and helpful. He knew we were just looking and he offered several samples we could take home and compare with our house colors.

If you cant find it here you dont need it. The sales folks are well trained and very knowledgeable. Prices are on the high side, but you get what you pay for.
