I hate walking into a furniture store because the sales rep tends to follow you around like a puppy just looking for a sale! Not the case at Suffern Furniture. I was referred here and it was the best experience Ive ever had buying furniture! They take a real consultative approach to understand your style, price range, etc. They basically can create any type of piece youre looking for from scratch. Very custom approach but yet very affordable. My couch came yesterday and I couldnt be happier. Thanks Mike and team, you are guys are top notch!

After visiting large furniture stores, gave this store a visit. Ray was amazing...no high pressure to buy, just suggestions to get us exactly what we wanted. Purchased sofa, loveseat and recliner. So friendly and knowledgeable. Cant wait for furniture to arrive.

I suggest using Raymour & Flannigan, Ashley Furniture or even Wayfair if you want your goods delivered in a reasonable amount of time. Told the wait would be 10 to 12 weeks. Waited almost six months before all was delivered - came in in dribs and drabs. Very disappointing on so many levels especially since nothing was offered to us for our inconvenience. Left many messages with owner who never bothered to call us back. Will never use them again.

We had considerable difficulty communicating with the staff after the delivery men decided they could not deliver our furniture up our stairs. Suffern Furniture delayed speaking with us in resolving the matter and when we did talk, we were blamed for ordering inappropriately sized furniture. After quite a few frustrating phone calls and a week or so later, Suffern Furniture sent another group of delivery men that had NO PROBLEM with the delivery. It took less than 20 minutes. It is unfortunate that they were not willing to work with us and come see our home before falsely accusing us and being unwilling to help.

They cant display as much as the big chains on their floor, but they more than make up for that in knowledge and service. Highly recommend you check them out.

Professional service and appeal furniture design

Needed a powerlift chair for a family member and found them online. They were nice, friendly and made delivery easy

My wife and I had been furniture shopping for our living room for a while. She decided she wanted to check out Sufferin furniture. We had captured photos of our space with my iPad and work with an sales person who was able to help us choose and match a couch, rocking chair, end tables, and coffee table. I was initally not planning on buying that day, but was very pleased with the choices that have since been delivered and looks great. I would definately recommend this store to friends.
