I’ve been using this franchise for years. Today, I didn’t have my military ID on me and was not given my $5 discount as I have for previous years. I asked if I could use my coupon from an email and the tech had already processed my payment. I asked for the Manager and he wouldn’t reconcile my dispute. I’ve never had a problem before and won’t be coming back!!!!The customer service was less than desirable and the professionalism was non existent. Use good judgment before using this location.

Fast and transparent! He told and showed me everything that he was doing as he was doing it. He topped off my other fluids after changing my oil, checked out my tire tread and changed my tail light super quick. I usually have my husband do all of this but he doesnt have the time right now and I am very skeptical of car maintenance places because its easy to take advantage of someone who doesnt look like they know a ton about cars. This is a company that proved very trustworthy as they were willing to show me everything as it happened. Thanks!

I waited in line for an oil change watching people who came after us in the other lanes go first. When I reached the front of the lane I was in, one of the employees told me to back up because “first come first serve” and he let someone in another lane get in front of us. We were there before the other cars being serviced so why are they picking and choosing who it applies to. When I explained we had been waiting for awhile and other people who were there after us had been serviced he shrugged his shoulders. I left. Unprofessional, inconsistent, and not worth it.

I remember the first time I came here, it was just after they opened, before they could do inspections. They did good FAST work and beat the price of the place I used to go to. Since then, it has become my go-to for any car stuff - they do a lot more than just oil and tires. The people there have always been professional and clearly knowledgeable, the work is always done fast, and the prices are always good. You cant go wrong. I recommend.

I’ve had to change my prior 5 star post to 1 star. After referring many people to come here in the past all the referrals have stopped immediately. When i arrived for my oil change the skid plate for my vehicle was securely bolted. When i left the skid was no longer attached to my vehicle. I was told by an unprofessional manager who lacks all the customer service skills that can image ( starting with a proper introduction, acknowledgement of the issue, and proper resolution) that it wasn’t their problem the skid plate wouldn’t bolt back in to my vehicle.Claims of rust preventing it from bolting back in and every other lazy excuse. All anybody ask is that their property is returned in the same condition it was received. The bottom line is this company displays the lettering Honesty, Trust, and Respect. Nothing could be farther from the truth! Potential customers please beware of this business at this time. I hope corporate can make the needed changes to get this business back on track.Thumbs up to the young man who helped me during the oil change. You have the skills to communicate and basic human empathy your so called manager lacks. Like i told you, “ It’s not your fault and i’ll take care of it through other channels.”

Pretty solid oil change stop. They are fairly quick & efficient. They also perform several routine checks on your car, while also topping off the washer fluid.

Took my car here to get my AC fixed and a week later my car started running hot. I took it somewhere else to get it fixed. I didn’t have any issues of my car running hot until I took it to them.

Came here for an oil change, I think the man that helped me was named Charles? I know it started with a C & he had long dreads. He was awesome!!! Very polite, friendly & professional, thoroughly explained EVERYTHING for me & wasn’t overly pushy with the recommendations of extra services. Car was done in 10min or less, best car service I’ve ever received!

Arrived at business in Suffolk VA at 5:20 PM for a standard oil change. There were no other vehicles being serviced. I was bluntly told by the service tech they were not accepting any more customers. The location closes at 6:00 PM. Their open sign was illuminated. I do not understand why my vehicle couldn’t be serviced, nor was I offered any explanation from the tech. This very disappointing and poor service.

More disappointed from the lack of integrity this place shows.I went in to get my oil changed as I usually do but this time the mechanic told me he wouldnt be able to change my oil. His reasoning was because it seems as if someone put some kind of plug in the drain pan and we are afraid if we take it out we wont be able to put it back in and youll be stuck.I told him I appreciate being made aware of this but Ive only had my oil changed by you guys, so clearly at this point Im waiting for someone with some common sense to see that this points to something you all caused. I went to acura and had to get a new pan. This couldve been easily avoided if they simply informed me of this sooner but what happened was the drain plug got stripped so thank you for what I thought to be good speedy service when it was nothing more than just speedy. Im never coming back to this place. If I cant trust you with changing my oil honestly why would I go for anything else.

Business should have coupons that are actually available to use. I was told there were coupons available however the only coupons werent able to be used. Thankfully, I still ended up with a discount.

Oil changes are great, firstly. However, I had them check my AC that had recently stopped working. They charged me $130 (understandable, I chose to have the diagnoses there) to tell me after about 30 minutes that my compressor had failed and handed me a quote for around $1500 to fix it.I was skeptical, as it’s a newer car. I had a friend of a friend check it out, and she figured out it was the magnetic clutch that had failed.Cheap part, and total for the job is less than half of doing the compressor. Which wasn’t even the issue.If you’re going to offer AC diagnoses, might I suggest physically looking at the parts involved, and not upselling unnecessary repairs. I now don’t feel like I can trust them and will also be taking my car elsewhere for oil service when I don’t have time to do it myself. Which is a shame, I used to love this place. Not sure what changed, but it was for the worst.

Never thought Id be one of the people complaining in a Google review haha. The first few times I visited, everything was great. Unfortunately during my last visit, they damaged a part on my car during the oil change. I dont live in the area and I discovered this after I moved. I called and emailed them several times over the last few weeks but no one will respond.

GREAT PLACE .. Highly recommended.. Used to always go to the dealer and this was my first visit here . The fact that you get to sit in your car when they do the oil change and all is pretty awesome. Rachel was the one who helped me and she was professional, courteous and very helpful. Very quick service compared to other places where you wait for hours . I highly recommend this place. My roommate recommended this place to me. It was about $30 cheaper than where I was taking my car for an oil change and that’s a big plus! I have a 2011 Toyota Prius Hybrid and it only cost a little over $70 for oil/ filter change and they did a few other extra things which was nice. Staff was very friendly as well. The only drawback was they didn’t know how to clear the “oil change needed” signal on my car, other than that I’ll definitely be back.

Had my AC system replaced entirely, it blows super cold, $1,600 was hard to swallow but compared to the $8,000 the dealership was going to charge for the same job, I think I can get over it, lol.

I’ve been a loyal customer for a couple years now, and I enjoy the convenience of getting maintenance done close by. However, the last few times I’ve visited I’ve had to return my vehicle for the same issue as if they purposely make partial repairs so you have to come back. They performed a diagnostic and found the issue, “repaired” it, then the issue came back again within a month. Nice staff, but I’m beginning to feel the mechanics are not trustworthy.

I needed my oil changed and a state inspection done this afternoon. In order to pass inspection I needed a couple of lights replaced. Not only were they very quick with the process, they are extremely fair priced! The entire staff was very polite! Also, they let you make appointments, which was definitely convenient for me!

I went in to get my vehicle repaired and the service was excellent as was the quality of work. The mechanic who came out to speak to me afterwards noted a separate issue I had also been noticing for a long time and said he knew what it was right from the start. I went and got that repaired as well and my vehicle has been running beautifully ever since. This shop has great customer service, mechanical knowledge, and great craftsmanship in their work. I will definitely be using them for all my future needs.

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt the need to share my experiences about Express Oil Change & Tire. First off, I would like to say this business is very professional and they do some amazing work. My son has a late model Range Rover and we always take it to the dealer for maintenance and servicing. However, one day his truck was giving him some problems and he ended up taking it to this place of business. I thought that they only did inspections and oil changes, but was enlightened to know that they do so much more. I was reluctant to let them work on his SUV, but I decided to give them a chance. In my own opinion, they did some major work. One of their Service Managers – Russ, was so professional, knowledgeable, and courteous that it made all the differences in the world. I’ve read a few negative comments, but my experience was fantastic. Their price was competitively fair, and their work was excellent. To date, my son’s vehicle is running great and all the work they did is working fine. I will continue to share amongst my family, coworkers, and friends about this place. Keep up the great work and once again, thanks Russ for an amazing experience. We will be returning.

Elisa was wonderful! We had to get a last minute oil change before going out of town. We drove in, it took maybe 15 minutes to get the oil changed, fluids checked, windshield washer fluid refilled, lightbulbs checked and pay. I forgot about the complimentary windshield wash! Had an oil change, they were very friendly, finished in a good amount of time, topped off everything in my car and added air in the tires, and gave me a quick run down about them (tread, rotation) which was helpful. My favorite is that the main guy told me Merry Christmas, no one does that anymore! Definitely plan on going back again.

Buyer beware.This place used to be great, but it has QUICKLY gone down in service quality. They regularly under-fill my oil, they go by the PC specs they have and dont account for the filter. I use full synthetic and sent my son to get the same in a car i had just purchased. He was convinced to pay for oil additives, not knowing any better. They do, or should know, synthetic oil does NOT benefit from additives, because it doesnt break down like conventional oil. Called to complain, expected a refund, but I was told it was the choice made by my son. Be careful, very careful. Know what you need and double check the work!

Came here after my husband recommended it! What a wonderful service! I have a 4 and 2 year old and expecting #3 so sitting around waiting for a traditional oil change didn’t happen often and my van maintenance definitely suffered. All the staff were very polite and explained everything in layman terms so I could understand what they were talking about. We were in and out in 10-12 minutes and didn’t have to get out of the car. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends.

The manager TJ took really good care of me and my truck. I had a complaint. He listened. He didnt get upset or try to justify. What took me by surprise was that he understood. He asked me to come back in to look my truck over. He took care of my truck himself. He was very polite, professional and understanding. I was on the verge of not ever returning after being a long customer there. TJ made me feel safe enough to bring my truck back for any other type of service. I had my oil change at this location and it was the most professional experience I have encountered at an auto shop. To be fair I have not usually had bad experiences; however, the young man who did my oil change was way above anything I have experienced. The technicians name was Jamel (not sure of spelling) he was not only professional but extremely knowledgeable. I hope and pray someday he owns his own shop.

These folks are always friendly, very quick, efficient and fairly priced. It is a nice touch that they give the vehicle a once over before you check out. Best thing is I do not have to exit the vehicle. Stay in the driver seat the whole time.

There is no feeling better than being greeted by the owner of a business! The professionalism and care I witness at this facility was high grade and note worthy. While in the comfort of my car I witness a great process for servicing the customers, it looked effortless. I was in and out with a oil change and a full check of my car. The building was clean and organized. They also provide other services that I sure will be just as great as the oil change I had. I had to ask for more business cards because I will sure share this experience with everyone I know. Even though this was a random location to get my oil change since I live in Chesapeake I would still come out here because of its wonderful service. I will definitely bring more of my vehicle service needs here.

Wrong oil was put in on oil change and they wouldnt change it to the correct oil, manager was argumentative and suggested I bring my own oil in next time. Asked for air pressure to get checked and was lied to about that being done. I reccomend finding somewhere else to go

Really great deal for an oil change. They do a safety inspection to make sure all your lights are working. You drive right up. I have never had to wait to get my oil changed. You can also have other work done on the other side. I had my tires rotated.

I went here for the first time and I was impressed. Im not one to take my car anywhere but talking to the staff and seeing what they do made me feel very comfortable bringing my car here. I was never pressured into anything and the price is very good for how quick they did it. 10 min is all it took for an oil change. Staff is professional and kind. My mother recommended this place to me about 2 months ago when I needed a oil change. They had me in and out within 10-15 mins which was awesome! I also just had my state inspection done today and my truck had a few issues but they got it fixed and I was good to go! Staff is amazing! Prices are awesome! I live in Newport News but I will only take my truck here from now on!

Very convenient, and fast! Very friendly too, however, with any of these pull your car up and get your oil changed quick places, they are a tad pricey, but its the convenience your paying for! Normally in and out in about 10 minutes or so... Much better than having to wait an hour or two, or have to drop off and be without your vehicle for the day!!!!

Scheduled an oil change, fuel filter change, and state inspection over a week ahead. Dropped of my vehicle, gave my info, and walked across the parking lot to the Kroger.I was told I would be called once the work was completed. Over two hours later, I called and found out the vehicle had been done for over an hour.They where nice enough to drop a few bucks off the tap for my inconvenience. However, when driving home. I noticed the inspection had never been done. I dont know if there has been a management change, but I have never had this issur before. Thank you all for wasting my time and money. I will never use your service again.

I’m very picky when it comes to who I take my car to. Having a mechanic for a father will do that. When I left here I was highly impressed. I had my oil changed, and the price was reasonable. I also had my brakes inspected because my wife had been hearing a noise on occasion. The brake inspection was free, and they told me that my brakes were perfect, and explained that moisture from sitting overnight could be the reason for the noise the first couple tones the brakes were applied.I asked for any recommended maintenance schedule and the tech had already printed one out for me and showed me what relevant to my car, what was due/past due for the mileage my vehicle was at, and what they had checked during my oil change and was fine.The service here was PHENOMENAL.

Quick and VERY reasonable prices! When they say 10 minute oil change, they werent kidding. No drama, no rabid upselling. Just straight forward service and no nonsense. The Chevy dealer around the corner wanted to charge $375 for coolant flush, $240 for a serpentine belt, and $60 for an OLF service. Express did all 3 services for less than $400. Much appreciated!!!

Im still in awe. I was dreading getting an oil change because I had a two year old. I was so surprised when they told me to stay in the car and it would only take 10 minutes. Be wary if you bring a sports car here. Brought my car in for a simple tire balancing. That went well, but they took it out for a test drive to make sure the balance is good which went all well and fine, but my car remembers peak boost (which I reset before handing over the keys). Theres no need to hit 26lbs of boost to make sure the wheels dont shake at speed. My mistake - I should have put the car into valet mode with 3k rev limit and no boost. Im happy it wasnt wrecked at speed. Oh well.-- Updated (25Oct2019 @ 10:25pm) to thank the owner for his response. I appreciate the test drive to ensure the tires were well balanced, however knowing my car, pegging the boost at 25+ psi will get you to 50mph in about 2-3 seconds, probably less. The car maxes out at about 29psi; but my gauge only remembers 24+. I have a lot of time and money invested as you can imagine, and feel very uncomfortable with those unfamiliar with the power and acceleration driving it. Unless a driver knows whats under the hood, Ill always be wary of a test drive. I think anyone could lose control if they werent expecting the acceleration.Thank you for getting me in and out quickly that day. With regards to the tire balance, everything was fine.-- Updated (31Oct2019 @ 2:15pm). Just went to remove my wheels for a separate issue. Found every lug nut torqued down way higher than spec. At least one cross-threaded; that stud now broke. 5 years of ownership of this vehicle and my first cross-threaded and broken stud after I visit this shop. Come on - start the lug nuts by hand then set your impact wrench correctly. Down another star.

I went here for the very first time because I didn’t have time to do my own oil change at the time. Well they “finished” changing it and I got home and checked my oil and noticed it was really dark and I was curious to why it would be dark. Well I unplugged my drain plug and lone behold my oil had not been changed nor my oil filter. They tell you to stay in your vehicle but it you go here which I don’t suggest, make sure they actually change it or you’ll be in the same position I was in. $80 down the drain. I would recommend doing it yourself and if you don’t know how to then I’d go to jiffy lube

Fast and friendly when getting my oil changed. My only complaint is that I asked them to put air in my tires, which they said they did, but my low tire pressure light was still on. The gentleman said I probably just had to ride a few miles down the road until it turned off, but it never did. Normally it turns off right away when I have enough air. Maybe their tire gauge was off? Not sure. Over all I recommend this place for getting an efficient oil change.l

Quick oil changes and love the people there! Good honest people that won’t do you wrong! I just have 2 cons: the waiting room chairs are not comfy especially if I have to wait forever for my car to be fix, since I live 30 mins away I have to wait over 3 hours. It’s worth it tho!

Good they checked everything and did everything they said they would do its just I had to wait longer to get into the service Bay then I was in the service Bay
