This is my second car being painted by Maaco. The manager at Maaco is wonderful and so is his staff, Chris. They really allowed us to explore the multitude of colors they have and were very patient. When we changed our mind on the color, they were very accommodating and encouraged us to pick what we liked. Very professional service with only a few days of waiting for our cars. My family got both of our cars painted from Maaco and we are very pleased! Also, were very reasonable with prices and great customer service by this new management. My kid got in a little fender bender in my 14 year old Mini Cooper. I had been looking at a color change anyway. Went from pepper white to caribbean aqua. So pleased with the results. In addition to fixing the crunch from the wreck, Diana made sure they removed every dent, ding, or chip a 14 year old car picks up. My mirror cover is on backorder (supply chain issues- not Maaco issues) and she said if I find one before they do and need help, I can swing by for them to pop it on. It was a gorgeous economical facelift for my low mileage, but not classic, older car.

Maaco transformed my old car new life in it. My 1994 Toyota Camry looks great now. Ive used Maaco now 7 times between 3 location the end result is the same. Pasadena 1, Sugarland 5 and Pearland Telephone road now. Telephone road just done an awesome job. Thanks so much. Sylvester

Took my 78 nova for a paint color change. I got the premium job for about $1600. I cant complain the job was wonderful for the price. I use the car as a daily driver so did not want to spend an arm and leg for a paint job. They did a great job with masking. Good quality work Id go again!

I usually do not leave reviews, but I am doing so to help many people from getting scammed and their car ruined by this location.I came in for a simple job to fix little paint chips in my front bumper in preparation for a full car wrap on a beautiful 2018 lexus lc 500. I got scammed into not just getting the bumper, but blending on the hood and side fenders. I was quoted and charged >$1300. I drop the car off at end of august and was told 1 week. 1 week turned into 2 weeks because they did not paint the bumper fully and leaving areas unpainted, they also did not blend the areas they promised to blend or refinish. I had to call daily to see if my car was done because there was no communication. When I pointed out the uneven paint, the Indian guy I suppose was the owner said I was being aggressive and difficult. I was only pointing out the obvious. I was soo tired the second time around, I just took the car home to avoid further harassment by the owner. I noted specs of sand, black raised areas on my hood and fender which was not their before. My car wrap guy said they left the sand on the hood and painted over it. When he tried to wrap it, barely applying the wrap, took the entire clear coat off. So now I have a hood, fender, bumper with sand spots all over and clear coat off. They also scratched my headlight sanding the bumper. and left paint stuck on my headlight, and rims. Look very close when you pic up your car. They try to park the car directly in the glare of the sunlight so you do not see the mistakes and damages they did. Make sure you inspect it thoroughly inside and out and in different light. To make wounds even worse, they stained the leather inside my car with clear coat on the center consol. This was the worse nightmare and worse experience in my life. When I tried to call back, and left message to have the car brought back to have it looked. I had no response on follow up. They are not genuine. I have no benefit in writing this. They did not refund me. I just want to protect people from getting scammed and their cars ruined. I do not think they believe in Karma, but I believe what goes around comes around.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO THIS LOCATION!The owner of this store location (#M2007) is not professional and I do not recommended anyone to take your car here. My father received his paint job at this location 4/22/2020. My father informed the man that painted his car that some spots were not sanded down properly before doing the final coating. The painter told him to wait 3 to four weeks and to let the paint adjust, so he did. My dad spoke with the owner over the phone and told him that he wanted the spots fixed. The owner was not professional and had an attitude. My dad called on April 3rd 2021 and spoke with the owner. My father was within warranty time to get his car spots sanded painted properly. The owner told him to bring his car on April 26, 2021, which my father did. The owner told my dad he sanded down the spots and repainted his car when he CLEARLY DID NOT!! The owner had his car from April 26, 2021- May 2, 2021and did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! When my father pointed out that he could see the same spots that were not done properly done the first time that the owner said he would fix. The owner told him if he didn’t leave the property he would call the police! THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! I cannot believe the Maaco’s chain is letting this owner TARNISH THEIR BRAND! I will be reporting this horrible customer service to corporate!

The only positive thing I can (reluctantly) say is that the manager on duty was somewhat helpful. He took the car back in and tried (but failed) to get most of the corrections made.Still, this place is a nightmare. ONLY take your cheapest most worthless clunker here. Check out the BBB feedback. They are horrible. Avoid at all cost. It took nearly a month for them to correct their poor craftsmanship, and I still left with unwanted over spray, poorly masked edges, incomplete repairs, obvious sanding gouges, incorrectly followed instructions (like Dont pain over that rubber piece!!), over-spray on my wheels and windows, over-spray on my reverse camera and worst.....stray sanding swirls on my headlights and passenger windows and sanding dust in the clear coat!!!! I finally cut my losses and left.

This location has a new auto body painter... he did a WAY BETTER JOB than the previous painter... so far I am happy with the results

I had an accident with the hatch of my vehicle and my garage. It looked serious enough that I called my insurance and they requested I get 3 estimates. My first stop was the Maaco near my home. I spoke with Diana who was very friendly and helpful. She looked at the damaged and concluded that there seemed to be no scratching of the paint on my vehicle, only paint from my garage. Mario was able to remove the damage completely from my vehicle. I am extremely grateful that I didnt have to file a claim or be out of pocket any money. In the future if I ever need any type of auto body repair done I will come here.

These guys have done bad job painting my front bumper. When they said it’s ready, I came there and bumper had a piece of paint fallen off. In other spots paint was dripping down and dried like that. But the other main part: it wasn’t the same white color. It has yellowish tone.They redone the job but difference in colors on car can be seen if you’re picky. And it is for 400$

Love it! Just got my car painted and fixed for 1100. My bumper was damaged n so was my hood due to a collision. Got the fresh color cool rose metallic. Very glossy and had the special deal. Feels like a brand new car! Dropped off on Sunday n it was ready for pick up Wednesday. Very happy camper! Will recommend this location to anyone who need a makeover. Thank you Maaco! 😃

Sure paid a lot of money to have a inconsistent color throughout the car on its new paint job that they will not fix that they did completely new paint job that looks horrible and Im stuck with it, they told me to make a list to bring it with me when I brought it back and when I did they didnt even want to look at the list to fix the paint job, their reply was thats all they could do the best they could do

The quality of the work exceeded my expectations. I was expecting a final look that was obvious the car had been repainted. What I got however made an old car look new. They were professional and friendly. Would use them again.

Dont waste your time here. When you pay $1900 for a paint job and it isnt good at all and all you get is the excuse you get what you pay for over and over. Theres trash in the paint, parts are painted that shouldnt be. Paint on glass, seats and other interior parts. And they wouldnt do anything about it. Wash it, most will come off.

Left over spray even after I was guaranteed they wouldnt and in top of that they over charged me after a agreed upon price.

Out right rude, poor workmanship and rip off. Do yourself a favor and take your car somewhere else.Long story short, they got the wrong part, installed incorrectly, got the after market part when I ordered a factory original, were reluctant to admit their mistake and provide discount for the broken part and labor. When the apparent discount was given they did less than the job quoted. I say apparent, because an after-market bumper instead of factory original was installed. The job that started at $225, ended up $1025 with wheels un-finished and still with scratch marks with ~10 days delay....When I brought this up with Richard and Danny, they both were outright rude and did not allow me to talk.I just took my car from there, due to fear of any further damage they might do to it.VERY Unprofessional. Will NEVER EVER go to any Maaco shop EVER!

Started off great with the first guy I spoke to on the phone. It was Friday afternoon I was able to get my car there, get a quote and was able to leave it with them. I need sanding all paint off the roof and repainted. I wanted flat black to match a decal I had . They said they could do it.I went on vacation for a week which they were okay with. When I picked up my car they brought it around and from a distance it looked good. When I got closer it looked as if they sanded it to the metal, sprayed it and said done. Like he was painting a house or something. The car was very dirty not even a wipe down . Opened the doors and it was like he was using the inside to hold himself up to sand it. I could see hand and feel print inside my car. In the paint, there was a lot if debris like they painted it outside. I did not ask for a textured flat paint job nor did I pay for it almost $600. Just a bad paint job . The also damaged the front end which the did fix but not without gitting some paint trim, my decal on the bumper my inner wheel wall and my rim . The repaint of my roof was almost a gloss not even the color I wanted. The owner is not very customer friendly when you start showing all the things that his guy messed up .I tried to show him picture and he told me hes color blind and cant see pictures very well and that I need to get to the point of what I was trying to explain. WHAT!!! how do you run a paint company when you cant see color. The other guy (supervisor) even said good painters are hard to come buy. Well maybe If you pay more and have a higher expectation you would have quality work. He finally tells me that he is done with me and my car. Huh. I have a 5 year warranty. Or do I?Bottom line . If you want a great paint job do not go to this one. Just bad. I recommend service king . They do an awesome job for body work. If the price is right for you and you decide to have them paint your car. Dont expect much. Just read the reviews there all about the same. Rude owner, bad paint job and overspray.

I got estimates from 3 different places. With Maaco being the least expensive and I had a friend recommend them, I went with them. They did a great job with the body repair. I would use them again.

Hacked my car up, lied about pricing, threatened me and performed work I didn’t want done to my car, now I’ll have to spend way more to undo what they did, do not trust these guys!!!!

After the original paint on the hood and fenders of my wifes 2005 Altima started to fade and lose the gloss, we thought we would invest in a paint job to spruce up the car.Maaco was having a sale on their Ambassador (mid range paint job). After a few quotes, Maaco won us over with providing minor dent removal at no extra cost.Initially, the paint job looked okay. There were areas of over spray on some of the trim. You could tell it was rushed as the prep work was lacking. The paint also had a hazy sheen to the finish.Fast forward 1.5 years:The hood is back at the point (worse even) before we had Maaco paint it. The fenders and trunk are now fading and flat.We take good care of washing the car and I waxed it two or so months (I detail cars). This is very disappointing to see our investment in the paint job go to waste such a short time later.I cannot recommend that you get your car painted here

This is the worst place to take your car. Lots of over spray and then they claim that the bumper finish was not good and that is why their paint job did not come out good. Also did not put back all the parts they took out of the bumper. Some were installed incorrectly and some like the under bumper air dam was missing completely. I had to replace some of the wheel well trims because they were installed incorrectly and got damaged by getting stuck on the tire. I am seriously thinking that this place steals parts off of unsuspecting owners car and sells them for after market value. One of my cars ignition coil was replaced with an old one from some other car. They had no business touching the ignition coil. I wish I could give this place a -ve 5 star. I am thinking of informing the cops.

They gave me an estimate. I believed in his promise. Job has not been done as we agreed.Light Chip and Scratch is not completed.He quote Enamel + Ultraviolet for $449 and add extras charges for a total of $251, total $700. The job has not performed 100%. Khalid Rizvi was impolite when I told him that I am not satisfied. He started shouting, I told him that I speak with respect and he did not stop. I leave the car for 2 days more and they did a poor finishing job.They force me to take the car and pay de $ 700 because if not they are going to sell it. I took my car because is stressful to deal with this people and I need my car for transportation. Bad costumer service, poor finishing job. They are a scam.

Very poor job, the very first day i notice lots of details like dirt on the paint, paint drops, which i immediately went in the office and i told the guy that helped me which i believe was the owner of the shop and he told me it was gonna go away, almost 4 months have pass and the paint dirt still there and so its the paint drop, also after two weeks im starting to notice a lot more bad details with the paint like it the car was not pre sand nor was prime applied property, my inside doors were not worked on thought the estimate included the while car i could of paid extra but no-one told me anything, i took a chance going to this place because i needed to paint my vehicle but now Im gonna have to spend more money to get this fix thats if they dont tell me i have to paint the whole car again..Not very satisfied.

Took my BMW in for work. The paint job looked OK, and they did the minimum expected. A week later I noticed a lot of over-spray all over the car and on my nice chrome exhaust tips.Took it back to have them buff out the over-spray, and they significantly over committed and under delivered. Theyd say the car would be ready on Monday, Id call and theyd say theyd have it Tues. Then Tues turned in to Wed; Wed into Thurs; Thurs into Friday. And the final day they guy in the office had the gumption to joke, We need it another week. I was less than pleased with their service.

Restoring a 1996 L Jaguar Vandan plas. Had previous quotes of $5,0000.00 and up for a paint job. Went to maaco meet with owner received good vibes and a good price of 1,100.00 to repair minor dents and rust spots and paint exterior of car. Told owner I would be out of town for two weeks. Two days before my return the owner called my wife and told her the car was ready for pick up. My wife went down to view the finished product, she called me and said she was pleased with the paint job, car looked like new. I picked up my car Tuesday. I was very pleased with the professional paint job. All dents removed, car looked new, gave me pride of ownership. Owners nephew said owner detailed the interior as he wanted my car to look like new. This was done at no charge and a show of him going the extra mile to satisfy a customer. Im very pleased with the work and would recommend Macco to friends and family who wanted a professional paint job without the cost.

Omg we paid alot of money to get work done. These people took my cell phone stand that hold my cell phone,unarmed my horn and alarm you would think they would have put it all back together,not sure why they were inside my truck when the work being done was paint and a window. I am beyond frustrated. .Horrible, Horrible business.They had my truck 7 days not once did they call me to tell me my truck was ready,my hubby had to call them several times.

SAVE YOUR MONEY and go else where - worst job ever - they dont even have the eye for a good paint job. Mine had dirt in the paint and the scratch was visible - they claimed no one will notice instead of doing it right. Everyone noticed! I lost money as Carmax and TDA both said the only thing wrong is the paint that maaco did!!!!!! Will make promises about making it right and break them after they screw your car, so if all the bad reviews dont help you stay away then god help you. Never take luxury vehicles - these guys dont have what it takes!

They covered everything but thats it. Minimal prepping, if its an older car or truck with any peeling paint youll still see the old paint edges under even if they say theyll strip the old off and yes over spray like everyone else says (ruined two of my four leds). Had to take it back a month later to take care of paint drips, painting over previous peeling paint, and obvious sanded areas in the recessed trim, it had deep circular swirls about two foot long (this was caused by the shop, it was not previously there, and they agreed to fix). They did fix it... now the swirls are sanded away and there is a line where they sanded it away. They had to repaint areas and now there are new paint drips around the door and bubbles from dirt trapped under the paint. The bubbles were much worse than the initial job... this was the second to top of the line paint service they offered, not the single coat paint job, over 1300.The owner is sarcastic and has no sense of service when dealing with him. As another review said Thursday turned to Friday, then Sunday, then Wednesday.. two days turned to 10. If they did not set a fast expectation this wouldnt have been a problem and its obviously a reoccurring problem (similar experiences in other reviews). We just love your car we want to keep it longer is the smudge service I was treated with on the tenth day inquiring.This was the cheapest place in town but you really get just that, a cheap paint job. I wish I could go back and pay more for another reputable place. I thought the warrenty was worth it but after going back, and the fix created more problems, I can only see value in it if your painting a beater (at which point you would not pay for the package I did and thus will not have a warrenty). And be aware on the receipt where it says imperfections may show, it is definitely their scape goat as the owner will make it quite clear when showing any bubbles from dirt or surfaces not properly prepped.To be fair the car does pass the 10 foot test, aka looks good from 10 feet out any closer you see problems.Definitely not want id expect from a 2nd to top of the line professional job. Their top of the line is just wet sanding and buffing to take care of orange peel after the car has been painted... if the base job is bad expect the end result to be similar whether you wet sand or not.Macco is franchise owned and I would definitely recommend trying another location or another company. After dealing with their corporate office that told me I can only go to the same location that did a unsatisfactory job and fix afterwards, I wont be stepping foot in another location whos corporate office does care about customer satisfaction.Youll find BBB complains and bad reviews all over with this place. Hope you dont go off a whim and try it out since youre looking for reviews.**Update**It has been not quite 2 and a half months and paint is already flaking off of the hood in a spot, about 2 inches long and 1/2 inch wide, and exposing bare, rusty metal. There is no primer visable even though I paid for a 2 stage paint job and the primer they used is a grey color as I can see from the over spray in other areas. In contrast to a black paint it should be clearly visible if it was there....
