Went to store to get ring sized and purchase warranty. Had issue with Credit card. Was advised to call customer service. I asked was she sure they was open. She stated yes. She even mentioned maybe I hadnt paid my credit card bill. Which I felt was very unprofessional. Credit card department closed on Sunday. Spent an hour on the phn. On Monday I called corporate to advised of my unhappy experience. They explained store associates have a special number they can call for credit cards issues. Still had to return on Monday hoping for a better experience.

Stopped in with a particular item in mind, plus a semi-annual inspection of previously purchased jewelry. One person on staff acknowledged me and said theyd be right with me, which is fine. Half an hour later, a couple walks in, and gets helped by another staff member. I looked around to see if anyone (including the well be right with you team) would acknowledge this, but they did not. At this point I left because a) I was tired of waiting and b) Im pregnant, and needed a restroom. Staff barely looked up as I left, and definitely nobody even attempted to apologize. Not the customers fault by any means as they shouldnt feel rushed, but a simple nod from staff to my existence (beyond the initial one person saying well be right with you) would have made a world of a difference.

Kyoko and her trainee (I cannot remember his name) were so very helpful!! Very personable and helped me make the right decision!! I definitely recommend Kay’s, I got all that I wanted at a good price and they helped with leasing which was very helpful for a broke college student with no credit established!! So happy with my experience.

I went in to have my ring inspected as it is due every 6 months. Up til now, the associates look at it under a high powered microscope to make sure there are no missing or loose diamonds and I get an email that the inspection has been completed. This month the girl looked at it for 2 seconds, not under microscope and gave it back and said it was fine. I’ve not gotten an email that the inspection was completed this time around. I’ve been calling now for over a week and no one answers the phone at all. Guess I’ll have to make a trip back to the store AGAIN and make sure they have my inspection accounted for. I spent a lot of money on this piece and come in faithfully when it’s time so the least this store can do is take the time to properly inspect it and provide good customer service!

Besides being very professional he knows his job and is great at helping you make wise decisions. He will go above and beyond to make you happy all while smiling!

I had purchased lifetime battery replacement for my watches, but they were unable to find them on my account, so I will have to pay to replace the batteries. I really feel like I wasted my money on the lifetime battery replacement.

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience today at Kays. Smiles and warmness from the time we walked in the door. We were greeted by Kemoka and Taniesha and provided services by Jamar who pierced our 5 month old babys ears. He was professional polite and charasmatic. They eased the anxiety of getting our baby girls ears pierced. I would recommend this staff a million times over 😘😘

Was not happy at all!!!! After purchasing a ring for $300 being told it was aquamarine, I go to pick it up after having it sized finding out sure enough it was topaz! After I felt lied to in order for them to make a sale, They pleaded they “assumed” it was aquamarine because of the color. After having them replace the stones with aquamarine, having to wait ANOTHER 2 weeks for something I have already waited for, I went to pick it up. The lady who I assume was the manager was very rude when dealing with me explaining that the warranty doesn’t cover lost stones. However when I purchased the ring, the sales rep highly recommended us purchase the warranty because “aquamarine” are the most fragile of stones. Not EVEN 10 minutes after receiving my ring, a stone falls out in a store. After searching all over the floor for it, (since it wouldn’t have been covered otherwise) Luckily I found it and went in and returned my ring altogether. I feel as if foul play was involved. So much effort and time wasted on poor customer service and getting my hopes up for something. Never had an issue with Kay jewelers before and I’m disappointed by how I was treated here.

Useless customer service. Youll be lucky if you even get them to answer the phone. We got our ring back in October partly because of the great rewards that came with it for the wedding bands. Turns out they had expired a month after he proposed and we couldnt even use them. I sent my ring off to get it sized and since then has broken three times (were talking a six month time period). Every time Ive gotten it fixed they have promised to call me and yet never have. Today I was finally in town and called to see if my ring had been delivered and nope, it was not in on its due date. I called back 30 minutes later because I got an email that my ring had arrived. I called back and asked if they just got a UPS order because I was told on the phone earlier that maybe UPS would come later and my ring would arrive then. No, UPS had come that morning and apparently my ring had arrived that morning but the sales person I spoke to you was too lazy to even look and find it. By this time Ive already driven home so now I get in my car and sit in traffic for 45 minutes to come back to the store to pick up the ring that had apparently been there the entire time and I dont get a single apology. They do not even care that their product has broken on me three times. They dont even care that the ring had been there all day.

My husband and I visited Kay Jewelers earlier this month while trying to find a solitaire wedding ring for our 6th anniversary. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The prices and warranties are amazing and we plan to consider this jeweler for our purchase in the spring. I would recommend this location to my friends and family!

1/2019 Not very pleased with the service from kays. My boyfriend bought me a ring for Christmas. I had to get it sized. It was a size 7. I went in and they sized me at a 6. It was away for about 6 weeks. I went back to pick it up...tried it on and it was loose. They told me it was actually 6 1/4...so they had to send it back.Another 3 weeks and my boyfriend picked it back up. It did fit...however a day later my diamond fell out. So he took it back in. They replaced the diamond and called us another few weeks later. I wear it for literally one day...and another diamond fell out!!!!So he just took it back again yesterday, they apologized and said they would again replace the diamond and call us in a few weeks!!!So basically I have worn my ring for a total of maybe 1 week!!!!Never again going to KAYS! For the amount of money these rings cost...no diamonds should be falling out!UPDATE: 10/20/2020ANOTHER DIAMOND FELL OUT!

I came in here with my husband & mother in law. We were looking for a mother & child charm that showed we are having a girl. My husband bought me one before but shows blue for our son. We came here close to closing and the lady came over to talk to us. Immediately we were informed that this charm was discontinued & you couldnt order it online any longer. She kept trying to push another charm on us that I already had but the only difference was the color pink on it. Weve spent A LOT of money on my bracelet. My husband decided to look on online to see what he could find. Guess what??? There was the charm we were looking for on Kays website...its also being advertised on fb for this coming Mothers Day. She was just lazy & her customer service skills were poor. I wish I would have caught her name but shes probably in her late twenties,has shoulder length brown hair and somewhat heavy set.

I have always been a fan of kays jewelers and spent THOUSANDS there! So my problem is I bought my wife a new ring and they sent it off to get sized. I was calling the store to see if maybe in came back in a little earlier than expected because that has happened in the past. I know they are probably busy at the store right now but they literally picked the phone up on 2 separate occasions and just hung up without a word. Third try they picked the phone up and just let it sit and no one said a word. Even if they are busy that’s the most disrespectful/unprofessional customer service I have ever experienced. I WILL NEVER buy anything from Kays ever again. The location by the way is Summerville SC Azalea square

I dont know if its all Kay locations, but this one has the worst customer service. I dont mind waiting for a sales associate to get to me, but at least acknowledge a customer coming through the door even if you have to say Ill be with you shortly. Ive been in there a handful of times and every time Im waiting for almost 10 min before someone will acknowledge there is a customer.

Very rude, very unprofessional. I called the store no less than 20 times over the past two weeks (and NEVER got my calls answered) to check on the status of my ring and my quote. when I went into the store the very rude associate (I do not know her name) did not help at all and told me it would be another two weeks before I could get my ring back because she “just got the quote that morning” and still failed to call me. I do not recommend doing any repairs or resizes through them. I am absolutely disappointed with my service and the lack of professionalism.

Terrible customer service. Didn’t explain warranty’s and sold told us it was one type of stone .. get it and it’s a cheaper totally different stone. Then not even 10 mins later walked in the the store next door and one of the stones fell out.. after waiting a month and a half still no product. Not even worth it. Will not be back. Sales staff is not trained properly.

Came in to look at bridal sets with my husband, wasnt acknowledged. Walked around but there was a couple sitting with a rep in front of the bridal sets talking about his necklace chain, Im pointing that out because why would you be blocking the bridal sets if you werent even looking at them. Anyway tried waiting another ten minutes, still not acknowledged. Two women come in and wander around themselves and the lady asked them what they were looking for because maybe she could help them find it. I was speechless!!!!!! I mean seriously????? We walked out and went to a different jewelry store.

Kays is a rip off ! I bought my girl friend a $ 2000,00 dollar ring she didnt have it a year and the diamond fell out. When i took it back I was told sorry about my luck I needed. To bring it back every. 6 months to get it cleaned or the warranty was no good. But when I bought it they told me to bring it back once a year for a cleaning what a joke they tried to get me to trade it for another ring with little trade in value. I should of went to a bubble gum machine.

I go in just to browse since my family decided to walk the strip. The lady was like what can we help you with. I tell her we are just looking if we need any help we will come get her. She says okay YET she continues to follow us around the store asking us question...HELLO i clearly just told you if I need help I will come get you. She was very pushing and annoying so we just left before we were even done looking. Learn not to annoy your customers and maybe you will actually get some business.

My wife went in to Kay to get her wedding band repaired, she works an hour away so she doesnt have much time to come pick it up, so I went in to pick it up for her. When I got in there, I had the receipt and my ID, my name is on the receipt, but my wifes name was on the bag that they keep the rings in, not mine. The manager goes on trying to belittle me, throws me the dirtiest look as if I was a criminal trying to steal a ring, she proceeds to call my wife and tells her that a man is trying to pick up her ring. My wife gives her permission to release the ring to me, and the manager still refuses to give me the ring. So after Ive spent 45 minutes in 4 oclock traffic to pick up the ring, my wife has to wait in ltraffic for over an hour after 5 oclock, just because the person who took her ring initially wrote her name down, rather than mine. The manager here has the worst customer service / social skills I have ever seen in retail. I will never come back here again, and wouldnt recommend anybody to go to this particular Kay Jewelers.

My boyfriend isit graduating from the navy and I bought him a nice watch as his gift and took it here to get it engraved with his name. It took a month to get that done and when I finally got the call to pick it up it was not only curved when I asked for straight across but was upside-down. When I addressed this the young man said oh, now thats just rude they would do that. What do you want me to do about it? I asked him to at least turn the back around so its facing the correct way. He tried then told me he couldnt because that would cause it to be loose. When he handed it back it was scratched. My boyfriend is graduating this week so I couldnt afford another month to get it fixed. Would not recommend this place.

I have been shopping with Kays for a long time. I have bought many pieces of jewelry. I purchased a set of pearls several years ago. The clasp broke and they sent it off to be restrung. They charged me $337.The clasp did not hold up. It has broken again. I asked the girl in Kays to see how much it would cost to get another clasp. It has been 2 weeks and I have yet to hear from her. I took my pearls to another jeweler and they said the it was a terrible job that they did. I am very upset with Kays.I now have someone else doing my work for a third of the cost. For the last several years when I went in they have not been able to find anything on the computer that I bought. I have no idea what is going on with them but will no longer do business with them

I just have to say how wonderful of an experience I had shopping this location for remembrance gifts for my sisters after my mother passed. Sheila, Reba and Krystal were so helpful with picking out the perfect Locketts for them and ordering them for me . I could not have done it without there help and want to make sure they know it.
