Variety of donuts and other pastries baked fresh every day. Nice selection to choose from as well as homemade desserts like HoHos, banana pudding, and individual cheesecakes. They also have a variety of coffee drinks and an awesome plant room where you can shop for leafy friends too. Clean, nice staff, and great vibe!

Got the cosmic brownie donut and cinnamon bun cold brew. They were both great— particularly the coffee. I do wish they had gluten free donuts, though

My mind is boggled by how great reviews are. I went yesterday on Friday 20th of August. I got 6 donuts at $18. I am sorry but this is the worst donut ever. I bit into 3 right outside of the door cause I was super excited to try them. They are so incredibly thick all you taste bread that dries your mouth up quickly. The flavor is so minimal that I truly feel like I am just eating bread. I wish I went back in to talk to a manager as I barely have money but wanted to splurge and bring home a treat. No one likes them. Now they are going in the trash along with $18. Maybe I have been spoiled with other donut shops or my taste is not fond of eating thicke dry bread as a donut as some others. I tried posting a video of me trying to cut through one to show you how dense and thick but I can’t post it. I am so upset

Lovely little shop full of square donuts and small plants. The donuts are good, and they dont skimp on the sizes.

Loved their plant section and the plant pots are unique. I let my daughter pick a pot and plant out. The coffee and banana pudding were amazing!Reason for 3 stars, I have waited two weeks deciding whether or not to post this but if youre looking for donuts, I suggest going elsewhere. They LOOK delicious!!!!!! But.... They were HORRIBLE!!!!! 😩 There wasnt one person in my household that took more than one bite before throwing it away. Theyre very expensive too! A lot of $ to throw away. 😞 Not possible that they were from one batch. I ordered all different kinds. Its the recipe. I pray they find a different donut recipe bc they look so good! Huge disappointment.One more thing was when my daughter found a cactus with white hair-like stuff growing out of it, we asked 3 workers what it was and they all said I have no idea. 🤔 It is an odd plant but dang, it would be nice to know a little about the products you sell, for example, what it is! A little label in front of the plants would be very helpful. Then we could Google it I guess but I like the personal experience of learning from the employees. It shows they care about their customers and the products they sell.Recap- employees were very nice, they sell a lot of great things, coffee was amazing, very unique local store, I Might be back... Just not for donuts. 🥴

Wonderful food and I almost never like donuts. I do like theirs. The checkouts tend to be long. I request they have a self served coffee kiosk where one can get brewed coffee instead of waiting in long lines. I love the plant store attached.

I’m not sure what the people in the other reviews were eating, but I don’t agree.The donuts are flavorless blocks of sugar encrusted on sugar on top of stale bread. They are chewy and bland. We got a variety and all of them sucked.The customer service is ‘meh’. The price for these disappointing pastries is illogical. We were excited to try this place and it was a total let down all the way around.We’re never going back.Just go to DD and get better quality at a reasonable price.

Quick service.... AMAZING donuts. Great selection and it seems to get bigger and bigger. We love coming here on the occasional Saturday morning to get a half-dozen to go, along with coffee. They have also expanded their coffee selections to include a new cream top style, which we had for the first time today and enjoyes. Highly recommend! Oh....and they have a plant shop!

I visited this shop the first time for the plants and adored it (+1 for all the variety, too!). Then I tried their baked goodies on another visit and thought it couldnt get any better. But then I tried their coffee on another visit and I LOVE THIS PLACE! The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. You gotta check this place out! Highly recommend the sea salt pretzel, a cold brew and a peperomia or two. ;)

Got the Salted Caramel Iced latte w/ Macadamia milk and a cinnamon sugar donut and they were both heavanly. Definitely the best donut place around that I have tried.

Incredible! These are possibly the best donuts I have ever had. They are very heavy, and not cheap, but so worth it. Service was great as well. We went in at 5:30 pm, so the selection was sparse, but they still had some good stuff and everything was fresh.

Salted Caramel latte is delicious, tastes like a burnt caramel. I find their donuts are hit or miss, sometimes greasy or heavy, but todays cookie butter one was fluffy and yummy!

Great donuts. Dont expect the ordinary, run of the meal donuts! These are amazing. They are more expensive than others, but great for a splurge! We would definitely go back for more. The staff was attentive and friendly as well.

Absolutely amazing! Everything is so fresh and decadent. The service was also great, they were all super helpful. They also have a small room full of gorgeous live plants and bonsai trees.

Was super excited to buy special donuts from here for a surprise gift for my son but honestly they were really disappointing. Looked pretty, smelled great.... No real flavor and a bad texture. Tough and chewy at best and all of the flavors tasted about the same. At $16 per half dozen it was a pretty big letdown but we made it up to him with the donuts from Donut Connection which were much, much better. Dont think Ill return.

If you like dry doughnuts this is your place. Their homemade poptarts are good. But this is the 3rd time trying them, and the doughnuts are so so so dry…….nothing compared to glaze downtown. Sad to say but even DD is better😵

These donuts are the bees knees! Delicious yeast donuts and the chocolate bread makes me a gluttonous sinner. It was the perfect choice for a business meeting where I work. I was able to put together an impressive spread without working myself to death.

Honest Review. Ive tried Baked several times and gotten different donuts and apple fritters. My biggest complaint with them is that the donuts are mostly thick bread without a lot of flavor. Its like biting into a loaf of bread. I feel like they try hard to make the most unique and best donuts but they still turn out plain. Donuts can be simple and still be really good. Maybe its just my preferences, but every time I try I just feel disappointed. Donuts aside, Its a great atmosphere and the staff are very nice and friendly. They get five stars.

Finally found myself up early enough to get delivery from here. I asked for a variety of non-sprinkly grownup-type donuts and my Uber Eats driver and/or the Bked Shop staffer did great. The donuts are not sweet like you expect, which was a fabulous change from the usual places. The texture is also unique, not raised like DD and not cakey like Entenmanns, similar to a cronut but not buttery like that. They are delicious, dippable in coffee, and the variety I was given were all very tasty and classy. The chocolate cake and cinnamon sugar were my favorites, but they were all good. I did not hate myself after eating two, whereas other places donuts have me feeling diabetes at that point. If you are a grownup and you want some really nice donuts, this is the place for you! Enjoy!

Incredible artistry in both design and flavor. There are almost too many options to choose from that are unique in creation. In addition to the wonder food; the staff here makes each visit friendly and like home. Absolutely worth the visit and if you’re not close ... well get in your car and get here; worth the drive.

The customer service was non existent. I went in looked at the donuts and the lady up front was working on the coffee machine and the 2 employees in the back didn’t bother to acknowledge me by just saying “we will be with you in a minute “ for example. So I guess they are not interested in my money. I will not be back.

The BEST donuts; dont go in expecting the generic Dunkin or Krispy or gas station cake donut. BKeDSHoP donuts are the real deal, raised and glazed, chewy and sweet, with just a bit of crunch to the crust. Try the maple bacon donut or the waffle donut! Great selection of coffee drinks too; check out the plant shop while you wait for your order.

When I saw they had many vegan options I was super excited. I bought 6 vegan donuts. Once I was able to taste all 6 I was highly disappointed with the flavors. They’re very plain. The seasonal gingerbread didn’t taste like gingerbread at all. Strawberry chocolate, could barely taste strawberry. Overall the donuts seemed like they baked various circles and squares then decorated with frosting. But could never really taste the flavors that it was supposed to be. I’ve had better vegan donuts for the price. Probably won’t ever buy from them again until they find a better way to infuse the flavors.

Donuts were good, but expensive. Coffee was pretty average. Staff wasnt rude, but definitelly not friendly. All in all, there are better cafes.

The storefront is beautiful (good luck finding a parking spot though) and the employees were super sweet. The service was fast and the treats are beautiful as well. But my family of 4 didnt like 5 out of the 6 donuts we tried, not even a bit. We got a beautiful variety - the Glazed donut was good, but still not the best donut in the area.Glad I tried though! Too pricy to spend the wheel at this place again. Good luck!

Love this place but not cool when I work down the road and the door says 7AM to 7PM Tuesday thru Friday and you close at 4PM! Adjust your hours for customers. Not nice

Extremely tasty & large square donuts. We loved it! We got there after 2pm, so the choices were somewhat limited. Nevertheless, we got six donuts (Buy-5-Get-1-Free Deal): carrot cake, Nutella, birthday cake, lemon poppyseed, coffeecake & strawberry. These donuts have the consistency of cake batter. They were all quite delicious & very filling. Terrific staff, too. Cant wait to go back.

Kind of hit or miss. Some of the donuts are absolutely amazing, whilst others are bland. The coffee is great. Poorly managed with long lines and wait times.

Honest review from a real customer.After eating at Halls, the wife and I took a walk over to BKedSHoP for a sweet treat.I should have went with my gut instinct after seeing their display. I immediately thought this is what the Manna probably looked like that the ancient Israelites would eat, except this was covered in glaze.I ignored that thought and bought one anyways.Well, it tasted just like it looked. Dry and bland and it got thicker as you chewed, sucking all the moisture from your mouth with every chew.Other than that, they had some nice plants.

BKeDSHoP is homage to patisserie, excellent baked gems in perfectly portioned parcels. Each an indulgence unique to itself. Putting all chains to shame with fresh goods, if you come early you can even enjoy the lingering scent from the freshly made dough! I strongly encourage everyone to try them!

I think we would have liked it more had I known that the first donut I bought was vegan....it threw us off. Im sure vegans would enjoy it, but for someone who has never tried vegan this was the worst tasting donut I and family have ever had. The cashier just said it was original chocolate...I thought it was a chocolate cake doughnut Saying that the other things we tried were quite tasty!

AMAZING!!!Better than any other donuts ive ever tried. Instead of being fried, these tastes of heaven are baked, hence the square-ish shape. I highly suggest the salted chocolate. They also have a really, REALLY cool plant shop with the neatest plants! Happy eating!

No gluten free options but my daughter enjoyed the vegan donuts. Apple fritter was her favorite.

Awesome local joint with good food, coffee, and donuts!

My husband picked up a half dozen on 8/15 Before 10 am and I was excited to try them. They looked great but I was disappointed in the taste to be honest. I feel bad saying this because there are good reviews but we both thought the donuts were heavy and dry. I asked him how much he paid and was surprised how expensive. I wouldn’t have minded the price if they were really good. I will have to try some of their other items and review.

Staff is so nice, very clean and beautiful location! We loved the selection of baked goods- kids were super happy with their donuts, the cheesecake is divine, and we loved the coffees too. My teen had an iced chai latte that was delicious and I loved the cinnamon bun cold brew. Plus the selection of PLANTS on weekends was so exciting for this plant addict mama! (Nice collection of trendy and popular plants like flf, philodendron, peperomia, jades etc. Healthy and reasonably priced). We will DEFINITELY be back. Bring cash for the tip jar- they process cards on their tablets so tips are cash only. Nice outdoor seating in Nexton plaza too.

Great donuts, would be greater if it didn’t take me 30-45 minutes just to get 3 donuts. The check out process is just off. Donuts are made and ready on a bake pan, three workers up front, one in the back, 6 customers in line, I was the 6th and it took me 35 minutes to get out.

The chocolate ho ho cakes are so moist and delicious. If you still have room get the cinnamon rolls.

I have yet to physically visit here, but all my orders have consisted from food delivery apps. The doughnuts, poptart pastries, and hohos have been absolutely the best I have ever had. Their quality of food and taste is incredible. Something this amazing is almost inconceivable to be located in a place like summerville. This establishment is going places.
