Lovely shop to visit while on vacation. Has a unique selection of patterns. The fabric selection is adequate and moderately priced. Staff is friendly. Worth the visit while in Summerville.

I picked up a quilt for a friend and they did a beautiful job!

DO NOT take your sewing machine here for service. I took mine in to be cleaned and oiled to help the life of it and got it back with damage that it didnt have that actually shortened the life of it. When I got upset about it one of the employees started calling me names. Will never do business there again and recommend you dont either.

Incredible destination for fabric fans. Place has a delightful happy vibe. Friendly, helpful People. So much to see, this Place exudes creativity. The scope of their inventory is remarkable, from fabric n notions, to patterns (all kinds) and projects, to new and unique gift ideas. Reasonable prices too.Free parking in parking lot just across street.Had a delicious lunch at a fabulous, little restaurant within walking distance.PP&Q is an inviting establishment and well worth the trip (not far off I-26).

A great little locally owned quilt shop

I drove to Summerville to support a small business today. I spent $60.02 at this store. The nice ladies help me. The lady that checked me out took my items out of a small bag and put them in a larger bag because it wasnt I fitting. When I got home one of my $2.65 spool of thread was not there. I am sure it was left in the smaller bag and even tried to explain this when I called. The owner called me back to say she didnt know what to tell me! Hum!

This store is the most amazing place, the staff are all very very sweet and kind. As a beginner, I had alot of questions and everyone was so helpful. Their fabric is quality and fairly priced. It will definitely be my go to place from now on!

Was told if I was in the Charleston area that I definitely needed to check this quilt shop out. On the plus side everyone was extremely friendly. Also the number of patterns and ideas was tops. What I was disappointed in was how limited the amount of fabric the store had for sale. Was really expecting more.

I love PPQ! The people are friendly, and the store has a very historic atmosphere. It is an old hardware store that was part of the original town. I dont care as much about the sewing as a man, but the store is a neat place to visit!

Blown away by how awesome this place is. They hold workshops and classes at VERY reasonable rates! The building itself is very cool and has a section completely dedicated to fabrics. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. I love People Places and Quilts! Be sure to give it a go and spend the afternoon taking one of the many classes they provide.

Delightful place once I found it! The entrance is on W Richardson! Parking just has to be found. My best suggestion is on Cedar between Richardson & Doty and walk back to Richardson.

Was there back in May and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Even when the checkout line was crazy the employees were wonderful and the costumers were nice to each other.Definitely a go to shop best costumer service I had in a long time!

I visit this store every time I visit family in the area. The shop is large, has lots of samples and beautiful fabrics. They usually have kits available, too. Ive always been very happy with this shop until my visit this summer. I purchased $140 worth of merchandise. There was an Alison Glass fabric which has a 12 circular design printed on a gray background, two circles per panel. This bolt should have been priced by the panel and NOT by the yard. It is clearly intended to be used as a whole circular design and not cut out into smaller pieces like the majority of quilting. Someone had purchased an odd amount and the fabric started with about 3 of two partial circles instead of an entire panel. the space to the next usable circles was 6. I asked the employee if she would cut off the unusable portion of the fabric before measuring mine. I intended to purchase 6 sets of the circles which equated to what should have been 6 panels. This was roughly around 2 yards. She told me no, she wouldnt cut off the unusable part because the store would have to eat that.....to which I replied, but then Im going to have to eat it and she just replied with a blank stare and had no intentions of caring. It was only about a $1.50-$2.00 loss to the store and a $3.00-$4.00 loss to me. I used to own a quilt shop and the goal is to be the best service one can offer and the customer leaves after having a good experience. I almost never write reviews but I feel like the way this was handled was wrong.

Love this store! The staff is friendly, and will answer any questions for you. They have modern, historical, childrens and contemporary prints. Every time i am within an hour distance we have to stop. Great book selection along with every holiday and some African prints and some wool. This store has it all.
