Good prices with coupons. This location doesnt do meals except for the hotdog. That would be the only improvement.

The costumer service is excellent! The boy with brownish hair and blue eyes who was wearing a dolphins mask took my order and he was so nice! He definitely needs a raise because he is so handsome and nice. I low-key wish he was my boyfriend.

Been a long time since I paid homage to the Matriarch of Milk, the Duchess of Leches, the Queen of Dairy. While this particular location only serves chili dogs as a non-ice cream alternative (instead of the usual cookout-esque fare of its other, more varied counterparts), the service was fast, the sales associate friendly, the atmosphere relaxed, and the dining area clean. Only 4 stars, though, because I really had my sights set on a chili cheeseburger.

This place is my least favorite of the DQs around where I reside. It’s very small and packed with very limited choices. Took my boys to enjoy a nice treat but just too over crowded to stay and enjoy their treats.

They have birthday cakes of choice.

I would never go back to this place again. Once my and I walked in everybody stopped and started to stare at us like we are some criminals. I guess black is not where it at there. Once we order our stuff and wait... A lady came out with the blizzard and banana split. Then we asked for a top for both items. She ran to back with an attitude to tops and never give my wife a spoon for her banana split. I guess she thinks we dont need or use spoons. We just eat with our hands and feet. My blizzard never made it to the car due to it melting all over my hands and clothes. If I can give them less then a star I would in a heart beat.

Thank you Dairy Queen. They now carry dairy free dilly bars. The dilly bar tastes so good, hard to stop at 1 😂🤣.

Since new ownership the ice cream is lacking flavor. Shame my family and I really enjoyed coming here for special treats. Prefer Ye Old Fashion Ice Cream or the frozen custard from Culvers.

Great ice cream and fast service

The Dairy Queen on Old Trolley Road in Summerville is one of my favorite places to go for ice cream and cold treats. This is a great place to come to on a really hot day to cool down and chill. I really like the ice cream cakes that they offer here as well as they are something different for a special occasion or just a treat on a busy day. The service here is very good and they do a good job of taking care of everyone. This place has offered a quality dessert and food experience for a long time.

Fast friendly service every time I go. They actually turn the blizzards upside down as they hand them to you.

Good place to grab a Blizzard on a hot day. Unfortunately it seems theyve stopped handing out new Blizzard punch cards. They still accept previous ones that have been fully punched.

Love my dairy Queen. This Dairy Queen offers just treats and simple lunches, no burgers or fries. But who doesnt love a cone, hot fudge sundae, or a blizzard. They also have hot dogs and chips for those quick lunchtime meals with a side of blizzard.. lol. The staff is great and friendly, the store is clean and recently remodeled. The have freezers displaying treats and cakes.. oh and they look good too.

Hubby and I felt like having a special treat so we drove to DQ. When we travel, this is also a place we like to go to as an award for driving. A blizzard fixes anything!I guess many other people feel the same way, as the store was pretty crowed. It did not take long to get our order so we happily took our blizzards and walked past the long line that was waiting to order. I think there is a trip coming in the near future, so to quote Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ill be back !

Went with soccer team after game and service was excellent. They pumped out 40 shakes in a heartbeat. Girls were happy and so were the parents. Yummy!!

Yum, go back to a childhood favorite - this shop is it. Very reasonable prices, hot fudge is hot and rich and creamy. Ice cream is perfect soft serve. My grandsons favorite is their banana split, I love their chocolate, hot fudge sundae.

Dont get me wrong, Dairy Queen has the best soft serve anywhere, and I love their fudge above all other fudge. So its not the food this review is based on, its the service.The staff is always rather drab, with few smiles if any. They do the turn the blizzard upside down thing because they have to, but theres no fun in it; its always turn/turn/here you go. Well get some blizzards with no spoons, etc. Its like they took the fun out of ice cream and challenge us to make it fun ourselves. Luckily the flavors are all there so that we can at least enjoy it once we have it.

Went to the store on a Sunday night at 9:34pm. Showed up to see the employees leaving. When asked what time they closed they said 9pm I proceeded to tell them that their website said 10. And that it must be wrong. Please update your site to reflect the correct time or let your employees know they are missing out on sales

It was clean but the employees were hiding in the back with no masks on and served the customer before me who was without a mask with no comment. If it wasnt no cook food service I may have let it slide

Omg when craving for a good old fashion ice cream soft serve with sprinkles. And reasonable prices this is the place to go. Especially for a large family. They also have a frequent buyer card for Blizzards​.

What a fun family treat. Dairy Queen participates in the Terrific Kid program so my 2nd grader was happy to get his free cone. The rest of us were happy to celebrate his accomplishment with him... theres definitely something for everyone! :D

Ordered a large chocolate shake with some mint flavor in it. It was more vanilla than chocolate and hardly had any mint flavor. Quite possibly the worst shake I have ever had. And the sizes have gotten smaller. I remember when Dairy Queen meant quality. Guess its time to stay home and make my own.

I am not a huge cake person but I do love Dairy Queen ice cream cakes and my family knows it is the one thing that I really want every year for my birthday. This year is the first year I can remember not getting to enjoy a cake because though my family got one when we took it out of the box we quickly realized there was hair all over it. My family drove straight back to the store and got a refund. They checked the only other cake in the freezer at the store and it to had hair. Though they got their money back I did not get my cake. Needless to say I won’t be going to this Dairy Queen anymore. The girl did apologize and said they get them from somewhere else but regardless it ruined my birthday. So glad it was just family and not a party.

I enjoy the way they make it for me because I do not order what on the menu I like my ice cream with different types of ingredients. I visit this site approximately 2 to 3 times a week.

The ice cream is delicious but the customer service is horrible! The short girl with the long curly brown hair doesnt have a customer service bone in her body. This is the third time Ive dealt with her in the past 2 months. She acts as if the customer is wasting her time. Never had a problem here until she started working there. She needs to fix her attitude.

We stepped in five minutes before closing for a late treat and they were the nicest young people ever!

I arrived at DQ at 9:12 pm with my daughter (who has worked very hard and was overdue a big congrats). We had to stop and get thank cards this same evening. Since we thought (due to the website) it closed at 10pm and the place we went to get thank you cards closed at 10pm as well, we decided to get the thank you cards out of the way first. If management would have taken the minimal time it would take to update the website my daughter wouldn’t be disappointed this evening! Oh course, we will go to Ye Ole Fashion tonight and in the future so not all is lost. I just grew up with DQ and this is very disappointing how they have let themselves go I’ve the years! And because I don’t like seeing deserving children disappointed I took it upon myself to suggest a time update of the hours on this website in hopes that the staff will do the same.

Great convenient location for an ice cream or hotdog but they do not carry the full menu. No hamburgers etc. The cashier seemed kinda moody the other day as well. Maybe of just been having a bad day though.

It’s good but i find that every time i go and get a blizzard, it’s never blended enough. there’s always a ton of toppings at the top of the blizzard and then it’s just vanilla ice cream at the bottom. i’ve lived in summerville for about 5 years now and it’s been the same ever since i’ve gone here bruh. if it was the same through out the blizzard i’d have no problem but it’s not

I had to order a last minute birthday cake, which normally they make the cakes on specific days, apparently. Thankfully, they asked what I wanted and told me they could do that with only around 36 hours notice. I am so grateful, and they did the cake perfectly and it was ready when I needed it.

I arrived at the location just prior to closing. The store closes at 9pm however google maps and the official DQ website have it listed as 10pm. I enter the restaurant and wait in line to be refused service when it is my turn, mind you they served the people before me and there were people dining in the restaurant. I have been here before with decent service but this was inexcusable. I traveld a ways to get here just to be embarrassed in frount of the other guests. I never received a call back, I had to call back myself ( just to be told basically they are kids being kids). I would not recommend this place, go to publix next door and get a tub or McDonalds on Dorchester; at least your getting what you pay for.

Great ice cream, however we had a large party show up at 9:50, just before closing. They stopped taking orders at 10:00. Only half the party was served. Very surprised they wouldnt take our money after 10:00.

This is something I wanted to share about a horrible experience I had at Dairy Queen on Trolley Rd today around noon. I wanted to make this aware to my service dog handler friends and hope they share this as it has GOT to stop. This is a review I posted on their FB page.“The dark-haired female working today, February 6, 2019 around noon wanted to refuse service because of my ADA approved service dog. This has happened twice to me in this establishment. She refused to tell me her name so I could let the owner know. She told me that all the customers would complain with me having a dog in the store. She also said I was making a “big scene” which is ridiculous as I never raised my voice, I offered her all the documentation I had (which by law I’m not required to do) and explained she could call the number on the back of the ADA card to know the restaurant’s rights as well as mine. She finally just asked what I wanted then told me to leave when I got my frappe’. I went and sat quietly in the corner while the store filled with customers. Not one of them complained, instead they smiled at Jillian and told me how beautiful and well behaved she was. I finally called the police to hopefully educate the lady who was rude and wouldn’t look at the ADA card I had explaining the federal law which she instead slid with force back at me telling me she “didn’t care and didn’t want it”. I didn’t want this to happen to me again when I went there with my children and I didn’t want it to happen to anyone else. It’s traumatizing and upsetting to be treated that way for something I’m doing legally, quietly and non- disruptively. When I went back to the counter to get the corporate number before leaving she said there wasn’t one. Also, I did ask her for an apology which she refused to give and told me I was again making a “big scene and was over the top in calling the cops”. I explained to her that I just wanted her to be educated about this to which she replied “I’m not stupid, I don’t need any education”. I replied that I absolutely wasn’t calling her stupid but was trying to educate her and the team about the rights of service dogs and their handlers since she wouldn’t listen to me or read the material I gave her. She kept saying “I was ridiculous, over the top and service dogs have to be big, on a leash and walking on the floor.” I’ve contacted the corporate office - yes lady, there IS one which I’m sure you knew. I’ve been told a formal review is in process from the corporate end down to the regional manager. Truly, I really hoped she’d just listened to me, read the ADA info I’d given to her and that this could be resolved peacefully and politely. I’ve NEVER had to call a corporate office about a complaint - only about excellent service I wanted to share. I’ve never called the police about anything except an emergency.
