I cant say enough good things about Sunspace of Charleston, Randall Custer (owner) and the crew that installed my new porch enclosure. They were very professional, efficient, and took pride in their work. I cant believe I didnt know about them years ago. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to enjoy your porch. I am able to use my porch more now than ever. It is really like having an additional room in your house. JOB WELL DONE!!!!!!!

My wife and I live on James Island South Carolina and we attended the Charleston home show approximately nine months ago. My wife is a meticulous shopper and always does her homework on quality and price. At the home show we were able to compare side-by-side the products of the three primary companies that install these vinyl window systems. More importantly, we were able to assess the character of the owners of each company (like many we know when we are getting a sales job pulled on us). Randall Custer is a matter of fact guy who simply sold us on his product when he pointed out the pros and cons of each window panel system side-by-side. I jokingly (although with some seriousness) told him that I was an attorney and I would be a demanding client and he did not shy away. Let me make this easy, he is a man of his word. He first listened to what my wife wanted and then he went through each step of the process and made sure that we were fully informed as to total cost, installation time schedule and what we could expect upon completion. He also suggested a slight design modification that made all the difference in the world. I wish I had installed this system prior to this years pollen season and now blowing rain is no longer a problem with our porch furnishings and outside TV. His handshake is his bond, and you can count on it. We do not see that often today.

Randall installed vinyl windows on screen porches at our home and our cabin in the mountains. To say there were challenges with our install would be an understatement - due to the moldings and construction of the screen enclosure by the builder, a lot of things had to be taken into account to ensure they fit properly and they look good. Randall persevered and did a great installation. We love how they look and we can now enjoy our rooms during rain and cool weather, and I love that my porch cushions and carpet no longer get wet from rain or yellow from pollen! It was a great investment. Highly recommend Randall and Sunspace of Charleston!

Our Back Porch is our favorite room of our house. Whether it is just the two of us, or if we are entertaining family and friends, the back porch is the go-to room. The porch is spacious and we have lots of nice furniture for our guests.Unfortunately, in south GA the yellow pine tree pollen is real bad from January to early May. To keep the porch (and furniture) clean, we would cover the screen with plastic. A laborious job to put up, and again to take it down. We always wanted windows, but 2-track windows were not big enough and could only open to less than 50%.Fortunately, I found the Sunspace 4-track vinyl window system. It was everything we desired. Based on my measurements, Randall Custer gave me an estimate on 3 different window systems. We decided on the Model 200 Wall System, and we are so glad we did. Randall had my porch professionally measured and placed the order in early December, 2017. The windows were installed in January. It was nice to have one person (Randall) responsible for everything (the order, the delivery, the tear-out and disposal of the old, and the install of the new).Benefits: beautiful (it turned a screen porch into a beautiful room), functional (in less than a minute, I can go from a sunroom to a screened-in room, comfort (our porch is now 10-15° warmer in winter than before), quality (you can tell, these windows are built to last), value (my real estate friends tell me the windows will add at least the cost, if not more, to the value of our house), energy savings (as a retired electric utility employee, I know that we have a lot less heat-loss in the winter months through the 7 windows and 3 doors that are between the house and the porch).Bottom Line: I highly recommend Randall Custer and Sunspace of Charleston.

Our porch is our new favorite room!! We are so pleased with our decision to choose Sunspace of Charleston to transform our screened porch that we could only use a few months of the year, to a porch that we can enjoy year round. The Sunspace windows really make our outdoor space usable all year round now, especially in the winter and summer when you can heat and cool with a portable heater/AC...sooo much better than just screen! No more pollen in the spring, dust from the lawnmower on the furniture(this is arguably the best part). If it rains you can close them and keep everything dry and you can continue to use your room...I love being out there when it is raining!Randall Custer was great to work with from the beginning of room design all the way to the end of the installation (he personally delivered and help me install them!). Top-notch professional and all-around good guy! I cant recommend him highly enough.Edit: I have had the windows in for almost a year now, and I have had ZERO issues with them. I am very glad I decided to go with Sunspace over Eze-Breeze... I have one friend with Eze-Breeze and he has had to replace some little snap pieces on two of his windows already. Sunspace uses leaf springs to allow the windows to operate, so there are no parts to break! Much better design.

Our screened-in back porch had only that... screens. We had our screenroom upgraded to Model 100 screens and Model 200 vertical 4-track vinyl windows. We absolutely love it! Not only are the vinyl windows able to open from the top & bottom, they keep down the dust out. They are also choose tinting, which was instrumental to us because of the evening sun. We were impressed with Sunspace of Charleston from the quote to the finished product! Mr Custer is a true professional - we absolutely recommend him and his company!
