I never write reviews, but the experience I had here was so infuriating I felt inspired. The two women working there should not be in the service industry, point blank period. I was ignored each time I entered the store and practically had to beg to check out and purchase an item. The one did not know how to properly identify a product I was looking for, gave me the wrong item, and then did not understand how to credit the difference in an exchange. I barely got an apology for also being sold 2 batches of faulty product. Never going back to Blue Mercury again.

For someone who is totally lost when it comes to shopping for skincare/beauty/spa products, the manager Cedric made the experience of buying my mom a Christmas gift totally amazing. He managed to suggest a great gift, and packaged it up with a ton of awesome samples for her to try! I am forever grateful because I was just about to give up and leave the Summit.Aside from that, I really appreciate that they are treating the pandemic seriously and are only allowing 5 people inside at a time. After coming from a packed Sephora and ULTA, that was a huge relief.

The customer service was absolutely horrible. I walked in on a Sunday, was not greeted even a hello, just a look of pure annoyance that I was even walking into the store. Luckily I knew what section I was looking for, got what I needed and inquired about one product asking “do you carry Ilia makeup?” And all I got was “No”- literally nothing else- no help in trying to find a similar product that maybe I would’ve bought and brought your store some business. I was so annoyed at this woman’s attitude, like I had disturbed her or something even though she wasn’t doing anything but cleaning a brush...won’t be going back there. Seems like I’m not the only one that had this experience at this store. Should probably look at who you’re hiring a little more closely.

I went to store with my wife on 8/22 Saturday around 4 o’clock. It was horrible experience. We were looking to buy face cream. When we entered the store nobody was around we started looking the cream section and wanted ask for help to get more information about products. We barely saw one employee all the way on the back in the spa area. She was spying on us as if she was trying to catch us in the act stealing or something that’s what it felt like! we kind to feel chocked. Unfortunately she didn’t even greet us. My wife ask her politely may I get information about those creams ? She snarky reply very berif respond and we decided Definetly not to give our business to the store. Employe was absolutely terrible, extremely rude & no idea had a deal with or talk to people. Omg, we will never ever go that store again! We Definetly not recommend anyone that store.

Wish I could give zero stars! I made the mistake of going to Blue Mercury once in high school and never went back because the employees were so rude... 15 years later, someone gave me a gift card for Christmas and I just walked in to use it but was quickly reminded why I stopped going years ago. It is actually kind of amazing that this company manages to only higher mean women, no matter which store location, and for the tenure of their time in business. Will never shop here again. Sephora has everything Blue mercury has and more, and fantastic customer service taboot.

My friend and I walked into the store about an hour to closing time, and we werent even acknowledged or greeted until at least 5-10 minutes of me being in the store with a friend. The staff members didnt seem to be doing anything important. In fact, they were just chatting at the front counter. Repeatedly, however, they would very rudely ask if I or my friend needed help with anything. We politely told them that we were just looking. At one point my friend asked the price of eyeshadow primers, to which one of the ladies at the counter responded with it costs 26-40 dollars, in a very rude and condescending tone that sounded like she thought that it was too expensive for us. The staff would speak to my friend and I very briefly without giving us assistance when we asked and treated us as if we were below them. It is never okay to treat anyone like they are below you regardless of their race, manner of dressing, their accent, gender, etc. None of the 5 members working there on that day could have been bothered to give any help. Not only was the customer service nowhere near up to par, it was nonexistent. In the end, after receiving many dirty looks, we decided to take our business elsewhere. I will not be returning this store, and I dont recommend coming here. Go to Sephora or Ulta instead. They have better selection and much better customer service.

The store has a great selection of products but the customer service was bad. I asked for a certain brand of setting spray and incorrectly pronounced it. The employee corrected me once and than again while I was have a conversation with my friends. She said “if your going to say it, say it right.”

I have used gift certificates at this location 3 or 4 times and found the staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable on the lines/products for which I was shopping. On one visit I left with a new lipstick color I never wouldve thought of trying on, so glad she recod it. Have not tried the spa services but have heard that the facialist there is great with sensitive skin.

Not sure if this is reflective of the general decline of the customer service standards or this particular store on a particular day... was shopping for a gift, selected items and requested them to be gift packaged indicating the intent to gist the items. The store is full of celafain warped gist sets on display. The store clerk informs me they are out of celafain and suggests for me to by packaging elsewhere since I am already at the store. Got very annoyed at my counter offer to empty one of the display gift sets and use it to wrap my stuff, since I was there ready to purchase. The response: Those sets are vendor-sets, they pay money to have they displayed. And I am just a poor schmuck wasting their time with my stupid requests.
