Here’s a good example of how they do business: The deal was done. The paperwork was drawn up. The owner took the car for a ride. He knew I was taking it from their store and driving straight home to Nashville, TN. He said he didn’t like the way the car felt while braking. So he replaced the front brakes… at no extra charge! He thought I’d have a safer 8 hour drive. THAT’S how you run a business! And Brian, the young man who helped me was the best! Very sharp and very kind. They had a lot full of these types of cars. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

I had found a beautiful Range Rover Sport on Chicago Cars US website and met one of the sales team members by the name of Albert. I explained to him that I had been looking for this particular vehicle for a long time and that he had exactly what I was looking for. I placed a deposit on the car and set-up a time to meet the next day, however I had to cancel due to a work-schedule conflict. Albert was very patient, especially after I informed him I worked in the medical field as a Nurse and of course still working with Covid patients on a daily basis. He was understanding and re-scheduled with me this past Saturday. I finally met Albert and he was very kind and gracious and ensured my wife and I to take all the time we needed to inspect, test-drive, and make our final decision with the vehicle. When I returned with the Rover, Albert walked away respectfully from other clients to see if I was ok with the car. I had told him that it wasn’t what I thought it would be and that I didn’t want the vehicle after all. He asked a few questions in regards to what I didn’t like, then took me into his office area and refunded my deposit. There policy is No-Refunds on deposits, however, Albert understood that topic of conversation wasn’t discussed when gave the deposit. So, he gave the refund. What Albert didn’t realize is that he helped an Afghan Medic War Veteran. Great location for low prices on quality vehicles with a very helpful sales team. Go see Albert if you come here!

I put money down to hold a vehicle with Albert on a Thursday. I had to request the completed paperwork which I received on Friday afternoon, one hour before the bank cut off wire transfers. I set up the wire transfer for Monday morning. On Saturday morning I received a text message from Albert informing me that his Manager sold the vehicle because they did not receive the wire transfer on Friday. Although, there was never a discussion as to when the wire transfer had to be at Chicago Cars, and it would have been impossible to send the money without a signed purchase order. This business is very shady and unethical. I would never trust a purchase with them.

It’s our responsibility alone to determine the value of our purchase and to be aware of the risks. All cars are complex mechanical devices and are prone to problems, especially as they age. Compounding this we (me included) often don’t follow maintenance schedules, operate them without attention to their well-being and long-term survivability, and get rid of them when we are bored and ready for the next thing. In that environment, no dealer can identify or predict everything that might happen with a used car. And so purchasing and owning one is process frequently fraught with angst and trepidation.When you visit Chicago Cars US, however, a lot of this anxiety fades and your risk of making a bad decision decreases as well, in my opinion. The car I purchased for $5000.00 literally started falling apart within 6 months I got stuck with the car and a huge amount of mechanical issues to fix.. Not only that but there line X paint job thats supposed to be practically invincible is chipping and falling apart all over the car. Worst experience buying a car in my life! I would give half a star if I could. Made my life situation worse they did not care and didnt renegotiate. Control arms broken, tires bad, battery bad, brakes in dangerous driving condition, oil leak, AC didnt work at purchase, not even the windshield washer resivior worked because it was crushed obvious accident and more... What a wonderful car buying experience! My son Seth and I traveled over two and a half hours to see a Mazda 3 he saw on the website. It was in excellent shape, but needed a few things done to it. We came back a week later and everything was done. Artur was very knowledgeable and honest to deal with. Margaret was very nice and professional. She had us in and out very quickly. We noticed the power locks didnt work and they were nice enough to send us the part through the mail so that we didnt have to drive back again for a third week in a row. Excellent experience with the dealership and with the whole process. It took me a few tries to work on the price but we agreed on a great deal that was well under blue book. The owner even agreed to throw in some new tires with the car. I am a car guy, so working with car guys is always an enjoyable experience as they are straight forward. Highly recommend this place for tough to find cars, as mine was quite rare.

BAIT AND SWITCH. Dont put a deposit down and travel from out of state. See the cars first.The owner Jacob runs a shady deal. Buyers beware.$500 deposit put down on car after photos were sent to us, we drove from Nashville, TN to pick up the vehicle only to find out the PICTURES were doctored to appear the vehicle was in much better condition than really was. Fine, no problem. We said we were not interested, and actually very disappointed. Now 4 months later, Jacob and his used car lot have REFUSED to return our $500! Thats right the guy kept our money even after he falsely represented the vehicle.STAY AWAY and MOST IMPORTANT DO NOT BUY ONLINE! FALSE PICTURES, BAIT AND SWITCH

First of all, the regret that I have is totally my fault for not having the vehicle inspected prior to purchasing. with that said, I was told that the vehicle ran out fast and smooth and was reliable.. NOT. As soon as I received the vehicle I had to invest an additional $3,000.00 in repairs just to make it drivable. The water pump failed, it had a check engine light on for issues with the evap system that I was not told about, the front brakes were metal on metal and it had a coolant leak that was Jimmy Rigged with glue (can you believe it, glue???).. I was assured that the front nose clip only had scratches, NOT, It was badly damaged and hanging on the vehicle. It was missing a TPMS sensor causing the tire pressure readings to be inoperative and there is no spare tire, just a jack thrown in the trunk. The gas cap cover is broken and the rear brake pads/rotors are warped, I can go on and on. Anyway, dont be fooled like I was, do your due diligence prior to purchasing from this dealer. Shame on you guys at Chicago Cars US - you need to learn about a word called Integrity.. in a bad way. But, as I said, shame on me too for not having the car inspected first. Live and learn.
