The best Fred Meyer store I’ve been to. The store is extremely clean. Every employee I passed in the isles spoke to me, they are all very friendly. This store is lighted better than other Fred Meyer’s which seem to have dark spots or isles throughout the store. I definitely shop the store again.

Went to buy two standard pillows that in store were $49. There’s signs all over the pillows and bedding department that say Fred Meyers price matches guaranteed. Online from Walmart and bed bath and beyond the pillows go for $35 (not on sale). The manager would only let me apply to one pillow purchase. And when I was going to make a separate transaction for the second they told me no. So all in all ended up with NO pillows because they lied about price matching. Shame on Fred Meyers to sell these for so much more than everywhere else and for being so difficult to talk to about it.edit: I would like to add that the manager was being extremely rude to me right from the beginning. She even brought a second manager over who was whispering in her ear. Neither of them cared to even verify the prices I was seeing for the same pillow online. Like I was the one trying to scam them.Side note; I wouldnt have even cared to check the price of this pillow elsewhere if I hadnt seen the many signs of Price Match Guaranteed! which then made me curious.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, busy store, clean and great variety for all your needs.

Disrespectful cashier named, Rene, in self-checkout. Had a question about an item that was not scanning, and Im trying to ask for assistance while she is on her phone ignoring me. Unfortunate I have to wave my hands in front of her to get her attention back on her job, which I hate to do. Sumner is a great city with friendly people who are more deserving of that job than her. Do not blame upper management, but she is working in the wrong area of the store.

Quality is great. But once the checkout has an issue, it takes 5 different managers to solve it. Hence, if you see a line, take the time to go around the store and make sure you didnt forget anything.

My BF purchased a Play Station 4 from this store, keep in mind that this item is locked up in a glass case that an employee has to unlock and then its taken straight to the register. You dont get to walk around with it before u pay. He used my phone number for rewards card, that way we dont have to worry about reciepts. When we got home and opened it up we noticed right away that it was missing both the controllers that were supposed to come with it and the headset! Now in my mind, obviously this was already purchased by someone else and returned without those items. Im pretty sure Playstation didnt forget to put them in the box! A couple days later he tried to return it(no others in stock) not only was he denied the return but the deleted my rewards account linked to my phone number to keep him from trying at any otherlocations because he didnt have the paper reciept! I cant believe they did this! Absolutely unacceptable!

Had milk advertised for 77 cents including gallon, half gallon sizes. They refused to honor the advertised price, I told a floor manager about it, I believe her name was Sarah, once I showed her she took the signs off the door and wouldnt honor the advertised price.

This is the best Kroger store Ive ever been to. Best variety of health items. I have seen better organic produce departments but I still stand with the five stars for their variety instead of their quantity of stock. Its a small space but theres lots of unique finds. I will make it a special occasion to come here. You guys are the best.

Everything is always neat and clean the shelves are we stocked the personnel Fred Meyer team are very helpful and very personable its a good store to go to

I originally would have given 5 stars but my experience got soured towards the end of the shopping trip at the self check out. The cashier just kept eyeballing my boyfriend as if he stole something he had a backpack on so of course it “appears” suspicious he only did so because he had two MacBook pro’s in his backpack and didn’t feel comfortable leaving them in the car. But we got what we needed and left the store just gave me an awkward vibe, now I only do drive up and go shopping now.

First off, I love Fred Meyer stores. Now, my issue is, I read an artical on my social media page, that Fred Meyer /Kroger, are going to take away the 2 dollar Hero Pay from employees, I hope this is not true. Fred Meyer and Kroger stores, make enough money. Maybe you should have your Big Wigs take over for the employees. Lets see how that goes. People will loose respect for Fred Meyer if you go against your employees. They are keeping your stores up and running. They are working hard, and not getting enough Thanks.

Good convenient location, was willing to pay a bit more to go because of that but new management has soured the experience and previous good feeling in this store. Carts are piling up outside, baskets arent available, seems like normal items are out of stock more often. Reperests the poor leadership running the store.

I always wondered why I seen cops always parked in the parking lot. Then went one night around 1030pm, yikes, just another reason to edc.

A very spacious store that has almost everything, from pet food to barbecue equipment. There is often staff that restock shelves that are happy to point you in the direction of what you need. However, the prices for non-food items are a bit pricey if you dont get them on a sale/deal.

BEST Bakery & Produce Departments including Organic Produce. OUTSTANDING MEAT DEPARTMENT & Overall Grocery selection is unmatched even at other Fred Meyer Stores. Hardware, furnishings, clothing, electronic and Jewelry Departments are additional features making this store the one worth driving to. They are well staffed to help as well as keep you on time getting out the door.Hot food? GAS? The best of everything.

Excellent health food section!However, there are a few cashiers that I avoid on purpose. And I wish they would pressure wash the front of the store, its really past due and noticable in our clean little town :) Other than that its always nicely stocked and staff is always available.

Took my jewelry for repair and they kept calling me all day long saying there were problems with it, trying to make me pay extra for unnecessary repairs. LIARS!!!!

I went into the store at about 10:15pm, I realized that the store closed at 11pm, but I just wanted to grab a gallon of milk and a couple of packs of the cheese slices that they had on sale. When I walked into the back where they keep the dairy, the spot where they kept the cheese was empty. There just so happened to be a clerk there stocking the shelves a few aisles away, so I asked her if there was another area where they would have more of the cheese that they had on sale. She was not very friendly at all, it was as if I was bothering her for some reason. She looked up from her shelf stocking and she told me, well if its not there then we dont have anymore and she turned and went back to stocking the shelf. So I just said Thank you and kind of walked away. A few aisles over there was a refrigerated end cap full of the cheese that I had just asked her about, so I grabbed a couple of them, stuck them in my cart and proceeded to walk back to inform her of the secondary location. I told her, excuse me, do you remember when I asked you about the cheese, she interrupted me and said, right and I told you if its not out there then we dont have any. Were getting an order in later tonight so we should have more of it out tomorrow. I responded to her by saying, no I just wanted to let you know there is a refrigerated end cap a few aisles over that has a whole bunch of it in there just in case anybody else asks you about it, and I walked away.Now as far as Im concerned, if youre going to be in the customer service industry, you should learn how to deal with customers politely, this young lady was quite rude! If she cant speak nicely to customers who have legitimate questions about products that the company she is working for is selling, then I dont know what she is doing in this line of work . I dont think Im ever going to go back to that particular Fred Meyer again... I like to shop at a store where the clerks are pleasant and helpful and at this Fred Meyer I got the exact opposite of that!!!

Just goes to show Google is tracking the places you visit and amount of time you spend there. Cant wait till my credit card has Yelp integration and my Google biometrics tracker reviews my experience for me!

I love the Play Place in Sumner Fred Meyer. I get to grocery shop with my baby and my 2 other younger children (ages 3 and 5) get to hang out with Ms. Penny. The staff is professional and I like how the dining area is CAREFUL about what is on the television for families. Thanks, Sumner!

Ive been a FredMeyer shopper, almost exclusively for groceries & many other needs & wants for at least 15 years. I like their selections and prices except this new if you buy 5 or 7 or whatever price cuts I go to the store fairly often & often cannot buy larger quantities of those items at once. 1. Because of cost 2. Because of storage room at home. Most of the cashiers are very nice & helpful inc. Starbucks in the store because I buy a Starbucks 🤗 drink every day

One stop shop! Clothes, Electronics, Groceries, household goods, flowers...all under one roof! Whats not to love! And its quality merchandise! Friendly helpful staff, great parking and shopping.

They need some improvements in the garden area, maybe they should help people load the heavy peat moss in there car. The bags are to big and heavy. At least 100#... better yet dont leave them in the rain. Even better than that smaller bags. So people can handle the weight.Yuk

I really like this location! We live in Auburn but drive the extra 3 miles to come to this one because the Auburn one is a bit sketchy. This location also has a great healthy section. And an awesome variety of location items well-marked as such.

This is becoming a favorite place for us to get groceries. One thing that impresses me is that there is free fruit for children in the produce section. This keeps our kiddos occupied for a while. I like the selection of food and other items. Basically, this is like a Wal-Mart or Target but better.

By far and large this Fred Meyer has THE BEST deli selection of any grocery I have been to recently. Fresh mochi, sushi, and the usual hot food fare. Staff are kind and helpful.

Freddies... The only grocery store in the middle of downtown Sumner... The staff is so kind. Small-town atmosphere. Decent prices and a huge variety... Not just of groceries.. But clothing, outdoor supplies, bikes, furniture..

One our favorite places to shop. Great organic selection at affordable prices. Produce is fresh and store has a good selection of grass fed/hormone-free meat. Staff is very helpful, works to meet needs, and answer questions.

Ive been buying most of my groceries here, always pleased with the store but I dont like the remodel. Less produce selection and it is boxed off from the rest of the store. This area should be open and inviting.

Good Fred Meyer has a great selection of clothing and groceries. Is very big store and has everything you need from Automotive to athletic clothing and groceries plus all the above. Staff is nice there if you need them but not intrusive. Parking lot as massive as well

The store is usually clean and has some friendly staff like Ellen, who was perfect at self check by the way. The food prices are decent as long as you have a rewards card. The clothing prices are outrageous even when on sale. Their store brand clothing, Dip, runs at least one size too small. They do provide masks at one of the two entrances, it should be at both in my opinion.

They just finished a fantastic remodel. The new layout really opened up the store and items are even more functionally organized. The produce dept. is huge. Many other sections have been greatly expanded.

I knew what I wanted and they had it, easy to find in the store. I didnt give 5 stars because I needed a motorized chair - but they werent charged. I had to use only one of my crutches, put the other in a small cart, and push the cart with one hand.

I go here often, and i love the improvements to the place. However, ever since the improvements, for whatever reason they never have anything at the deli. 6 times - in a row - ive gone at different times and asked for the chicken strip meal, they either never have any, or tell me to wait 15 minutes, and 15 minutes later its another 10 minutes. What the hell are they doing?

I eat organic, natural, and wheat-free. Fred Meyer offers many choices of all these. I, also, appreciate its large bulk section. And who doesnt like one-stop shopping!

Working for Pepsi, I been to alot of fred Myers in Washington. This is the cleanest nicest one I been too. Finding certain items are usually out of stock, becuase of location and takes them a while to reorder to fill holes on the shelf. But other then that its a great store.

They carry acidophilus milk, which is #1reason, we shop there, when we need milk. Everything is good, yet today our checker was unfriendly, leaving both my husband and I to agree, that SAFEWAY has much friendlier checkers, and therefore is our favorite place to shop. Sorry, if the checker was having a bad day, but it left a negative feeling, about the whole shopping experience today.

I was followed and harrassed by loss prevention because apparently taking a bite of a pastry from the bakery while shopping constitutes them testing you like a criminal I can I understand if I had walked out and not paid then they could have said I was guilty of consuming but they did not wait they set up to do what they think is covert spying..at first I was alarmed that a strange man was following me he was rude when I asked why he seemed to be following me Im not sure why they never made contact when I left other than I paid for every last item I had in my cart taste tested or otherwise it was a very upsetting experience I wont be back ! I will drive a little farther and buy groceries at Safeway !

Good natural foods section, though they are limited on organic produce. This location is pretty quiet and old fashioned in a nice way.

Smaller than other Fred Meyer stores and strangely laid out. Its not as busy though, so that makes up for the bits that arent as good as other stores.

Today I had worst experience in Fred Meyer for the 1st time in 2 yrs, recently I moved to Lakeland hills I used to purchase grocery from Auburn Fred Meyer a friend of mine told Sumner one is closer, however after today’s experience I prefer to go to Winco or another Fred Meyer in Kent or Auburn, while cash out the cashier asked me to organize WIC items although it was separated already, but she said make individual partition for each transaction on the other hand my daughter was sick and crying. I told her I was never asked to do so in 2 yrs in any Fred Meyer all I do is separating my other groceries and for each individual transaction she was asking ID, reward card and sign which was waste of time then I told I will definitely put my review for today’s experience she called her lead then I explained the scenario and he said we are professionals and following our policy, however other Fred Meyers are unprofessional and that is why they get fired soon so I have realized the ones which not obeying this rubbish policy are customer friendly and they have way more customers then this place. My last day in this stupid place with their rude policies ... btw when I told them I putting review the lead offered chocolates for my kids and the cashier started pretending friendly even she was giving advise how to give medicine for my daughter for her fever...

Stopped in for dinner,it was 5:30 pm on a Thursday. The Deli was empty and the customer in front of me ordered a 8pc. Fryed chicken . The clerk came around and grabbed old cold packaged feted chicken to complete the order!!! My husband and I were in shock. We got out of their. Wow the Deli has gone down in workers now product. I will have to check the other Free Myer in Gram. Im disappointed;(

I think that Fred Myers is a great place, because almost everyday after school, I walk there with friends and its just a great place to relax and have fun with all of the bouncy balls they have and all the comfy chairs they also have.
