The store was very clean. People were very pleasant and helpful. Not pushy. Even helpful trying to find something in my budget. They gave me all the time I needed to test out mattresses. There prices compared to others.

I have bought furniture from Hines on multiple occasions and their service has always been wonderful, including the delivery drivers! Good thing we can leave reviews now days because I remember several years ago when I went into this place one of the owners was very rude for no reason, other than me just wanting to look around by my self. I had intended to buy a new bedroom suit but I dont like to be pressured by a sales person following me around. So after he decided to be rude I left and went elsewhere.. Back then you couldnt leave a review, but I never forget a bad experience like I had here..

Great place to go and to get some quality furniture! The selection of mattresses was superb, including the mattresses that have the lifts in them to provide a custom sleep for each person. The staff here is incredibly attentive and you can always see the owner, Mr. Hines there working hard to make sure this store performs at the highest level for his customers.Highly recommended would buy from Hines Furniture every single time.

Extremely overpriced and refused to make a deal. Nice customer service but the prices are the same as Ashley Furniture. Which in my opinion isnt just as bad

We visited Hines 2 years ago when we were looking for living room furniture. They had a HUGE selection of good quality, more unique pieces. We had been to other chain furniture stores and were disappointed in the quality. At Hines, they had a full selection of LaZBoy pieces in the back, some full-leather (nice!) sets. In the end, we purchased a nice light blue microsuede set with a coordinating rug and unique chest of drawers and we are very happy with it. The process was very easy and the furniture was delivered with care. I would recommend this family-owned business to anyone looking for good quality furniture.

Probably going to be your best bang for your buck in Sumter. Every other place was more expensive compared to these guys, and I was comparing the EXACT recliner to recliner.

It started off good it takes a while for delivery and 5 months later our box spring broke and they replaced it but I was told by the delivery guy it was a cheap one.I am also dissatisfied with my sons recliner it was not kid safe and it is broken 130 dollars for something we could of got for half price somewhere else I am not returning with so much competition in town I see no point spending almost 2000 and feeling this dissatisfied is not exceptable
