DO NOT PLACE ONLINE ORDERS WITH DFG! Google the company name and you can see all the negative experiences with being unable to reach the company, delayed pre-orders with no refund options ( unless you want a paper check…) plus overpriced items way above msrp. Take your hard earned money elsewhere!
Buyer beware, this company has a business practice of overselling thousands of preorders and only receiving 7, LOL. Take a look at their email response as to the status of the UPCs I preordered from them, what a joke. Hopefully they can learn to sell what they actually will get in the future, they definitely dont have a returning customer here.
Very poor communication! I ordered a booster box of Modern Horizon 2, and after 3 weeks Ive still not received anything as to why it hasnt shipped. My email to the company was ignored and when I called today I was told that they were waiting on the distributor. I understand things will happen but it shouldnt be on the purchaser to contact the seller when problems occur. Communicating with those of us who have put our trust in you by spending our hard earned money would go a long way in keeping that trust. Having not received that, I feel less inclined to purchase from this company again and feel I should warn others of doing business with a company that seems to care less about customer service, especially when your money is already in their pockets.
They were having an on-line sale, but my partner had to change something on a pre-order she made. I saw an item in the store that was not on-line and asked since we just bought a few $1000s today, would he allow me to buy the item in the store and combine it with the online items to get the 30% off. Above and beyond! You got a customer for life, Ill make the drive to Sumter from Cola.

I didnt know they served lunch and had a selection of desserts. Autumn was very helpful and awesome customer service.
I enjoyed walking around and looking at what they have, they even had some stuff I dont usually see in local game stores similar to this one. The staff was pleasant and courteous and if Im close by I definitely will revisit.
Pre ordered a chilling reign booster box. All the way back in early March. Just called today and told me I won’t get it till the second wave in August. They basically got a free loan for a few months from me. Do not order online it’s a waste of time. I will never do business with them again.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS STORE.They allow for orders way over there inventory so you have to wait weeks if not months to get your item. They also wi assume your fine with waiting because they will not contact you letting you know that they are behind in orders. This place consistently does this, they have no care for the customer and simply want as much money as they can get.

Had a issue with and order placed, emailed the store and had a quick turnaround time for a response. The owner Matt called me and was very polite and understanding. I would recommend this store to anyone in state or out of state.
Knowledgeable and courteous staff, who, actually helped answer any and all questions, researched single card prices before selling them and gave the best info to their ability when I inquired about the products I was interested in. Layout is pretty organized for a fully stocked yet small store front, and they have a good sized variety of games and cards to choose from. Id come back here for sure for any rotation of expansion packs or singles that might get traded in. To top it off the rewards program is a nice perk for collectors or sellers.
I preordered 2 evolving skies booster boxes in june and they waited until release day to tell everyone that they only got 50 booster boxes so i wasnt able to get mine and many other people werent able to as well. And to make things worse, they knew for at least 2 days before they announced it that they only had 50, because someone I know emailed them asking about when they were gonna ship their order. Very unprofessional.
We ordered commander legends boxes In November. Let me be very clear, this is not about not receiving the box yet. I get it, demand grew, they need to get them to ship them. I’m not upset about that. I just cannot understand why they will not answer us. We have called, we have emailed multiple times, we get no response, no answer, nothing. I wanted to cancel and order somewhere else, but I’m not going to do that without having this order from dragonfly refunded. However, again, no one will speak to us. How are there good reviews about customer service if we have received NONE.
This place takes more pre-orders than theyve actually been allocated. Very irresponsible business practice - good luck getting your stuff.

I pre ordered a booster box back in February and the product was released in March.Never got the first wave of booster box that was release because they forgot about me.They said apologize and said they will get me on the second wave that was release in April. And gave me a $11 dollar credit for the hassle.April passed never got my booster box, may passed never got my booster box.It is now first week of June and finally got my full refundAt the end of it all due to Covid and due to the Pokémon distributor being back logged I completely understand.Got my full refund and on top of all that got a booster box I wanted at no extra charges.Overall it was a win/win situation for me and that Dragon Fly Games keep their promises.
This place is a great place to look for Pokémon cards!! No, they do not always have the items you want in stock, but they do their best to get things in stock as fast as possible. Their customer service is great and the people are always nice to my boyfriend and me.
This site is my new go to for Pokemon preorders. They are fair priced and I recieved my Chilling Reign booster box and ETB promptly. They also had great customer service for any questions regarding my preorders. I highly recommend this company!

I have ordered 3 different boxes from this company. Their prices are amazing, and I will continue doing business with them for as long as they keep their prices where they are at. Just put in another preorder with them as well! I have referred 3 different people that play in my playgroup to them as well.Best example of great deals is look at their modern horizons 2 set booster box preorder prices on tcg versus their online pricing. :) Thank you guys for being amazing!
I tried making online purchases at this store 3 times now and each order was very delayed and eventually cancelled. DO NOT BUY from this place they will make you wait WEEKS after a release to get your MTG orders...
Employee was very helpful. I liked the large selection of games. Ended up leaving with some Magic: The Gathering cards.
They use pre-orders as a loan and if you try to cancel them they say ok and over sell so much that you have to wait months til after the release date to receive. Then they wont refund you until you call again(twice) so they can tell you the refund didnt work and they have to send you a check. Wouldnt ever order from this place again.

Have been to the store on many occasions. Matt and the team know there stuff and if they dont they will find out. Very helpful and honest. A store I highly recommend to any tcg player or board game player. 10 out of 10 will be returning.
This is a great place to find new games or find expansions/add-ons to your existing collection! The owners and staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and even though it is a relatively small store, they can get just about everything you could ever want for your gaming hobby.If you are looking for a place to play games, DragonFly Games has plenty of gaming tables available and a large selection of demo versions of the games they sell.

Started purchasing some MTG products as of late and they have been excellent all around. I had a lot of questions regarding some products and a small issue that were both answered and handled right way. Will be doing a lot more business here in the future
I have heard so many negative things about this place and the staff and I found they were all true on my first visit inside. The staff knows almost absolutely nothing about any TCG so dont bother with questions and acted like I was an annoyance by doing anything other than laying down cash. They were passive aggressively polite though!
I too ordered a commander legends collector box and i did not get any emails or call backs till just today the person on the phone was very nice but told me that wizards was not going to fulfill there order or the like now if i want them i have to spend way more due to how long i been waiting and im a set behind
Nice staff and responsive to communication. However I pre-ordered MTG product more than a month in advance of release date. Its now been a month since release and I cannot get any update on when I should expect my order except a generic within the next few weeks. My issue is they have no way of knowing how many items they ordered and how many are being fulfilled before my order. I could be the next order to be shipped or the 1,000 order.

Once entering this establishment I found myself sick with the prices compared to big store retailers. The staff was unhelpful with little experience, small selection unable to satisfy a serious TCG player, and staff handling the products do have strong cigarette smell so beware, overwhelming scent of body odor fills the air. Hard to collect cards when handle this way. By the way they did me a coupon code I will not be using DFGTHANKSYOU for 20% off online sales and can be used with multiple emails.

Pre-ordered an ultra premium Pokemon box and it was never shipped. Was never informed it was not shipped, but a note was placed on the website stating that they had no idea when the boxes would be shipped. Do not recommend

Beware preordering with this business. I purchased a Magic booster box for Christmas, then received an apologetic email saying thered be a delay. I sent two follow up emails asking if Id receive it before Christmas with no reply. I requested a refund via email with no reply. I had to message their Facebook page to finally be responded to. In short: theyre good at apologizing, but not at communicating, and when doing business, I prefer the latter.
Purchased a pokemon collector box that had destroyed promo cards inside (the only reason for purchasing this box). I contact pokemon because its obviously a quality control issue, they say they will not accept returns for an unknown amount of time and do not have replacement product. Im told several times to contact where i purchased it so i reluctantly do so. Im told by dragonfly that they will not do a return on anything opened. I do understand that this is not dragonflys fault but however i did not purchase this from pokemon directly. I bought this man to man and did so to support a place i enjoy visiting and have spent atleast a thousand or so in the past few months. Reasons such as this is are why people tend to buy from large retail corps instead. Just beware that if you open a sealed product from dragonfly, it is yours regardless of condition or missing contents. Again, i know they didnt manufacture it but i have let damaged boxes slide many times in the past as their uncaring employees stack stuff on top of my product i preordered, drop booster boxes on the ground in front of me, and let me drive all the way out there to tell me they dont have my product when its literally sitting on the counter behind them. I have asked about product i preordered and been told they didnt have them yet, then have another employee tell me they have them but a staff member hides them all and purchases it for herself then opens a box and shows me my product she is hiding. These reasons are why i wont be doing business with them anymore. Im out $85, but dragonfly is out the revenue they would have had from a lifelong customer had i been shown some kind of support. A small loss now and damaging out the product with nintendo or the distributor is well worth the potential net loss from losing a customer. Appearantly not all business owners feel that way. I dont expect perfection but damaged product due to negligence, a totally lost staff, and a man that wont stand behind what he sells is too many faults.
Small place with a lot of stuff crammed in there. Even had some of the harder to find stuff. Good paint selection too. Friendly staff and customers (seemed like regulars), and looked like a good size game room in back.

Ive been a gamer since I was a little boy I am now in my 50s started out playing Dungeons & Dragons eventually found Warhammer 40K I started playing 40K during 4th edition and Im still a player to this very dayMy local game store here in Tampa Bay Florida ran out of the 9th Edition Space Marine codex.I try to put my money in my local businesses cuz they are the heart of our communities unfortunately my game store ran out of copies.So I had to Resort to going online to find my codex that is when I found dragonfly games I not only received my 9th Edition codex at the same price as if I bought it off the shelf there personally but they shipped it to me here inTampa Bay Florida with free shippingI even received it a day early than what was expected I have to say dragonfly games is one of the best gaming stores out there Their customer service is impeccable and they are willing to go the distance to satisfy their customers dragonfly games will have my business anytime. Customer service here is terrible put in 3 pre-release orders and now here we are over a month has past and I have only received 1 package.I have reached out the them 3-4 times and have got no response and now they are posting the next set to go on sale and still have not fulfilled the orders from the last sale.

I have been in Sumter for about 2 years now, and am an avid game player. MTG is my primary focus, but am a collector of fun and odd board games as well. I pre-ordered products through dragonfly games, and on release date, they advised that they had sold my product already. I was dismayed and stated that i receieved no email to pickup, or even about not having enough product come in. Nothing. The only resolution was refund, which is ok, but i had plans for the preordered product that were ruined due to greed and profit chasing. Will NEVER use dragonfly games for anything again, and shows why LGS are dying left and right. TREAT YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS RIGHT!

Had a great time at the Modern Horizon prerelease draft! My daughter found it easy to find other players for quick pick up Magic duels. Very generous board game library open for the multiple game rooms. If youre coming to play, be sure to plan enough time. Im sure well be coming back for future events or Friday Night Magic!

This is a great place to find board games from the casual to the more complex, Ive seen games that are hard to find anywhere but the internet and the prices are either fair or cheaper than anywhere else. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgable, from Warhammer to D&D this shop has it all!

Do not preorder from this store! You will not get the product and will need to request a refund. Owner was not good with communication and clearly over sold on a product that they had no way of getting the product for. This is a review only for the online portion of store.
As a proclamed nerd and conosour of board games, this little hole in the wall shop is perfect for those like me. With weekly events and a reasonable selection of games to choose from DragonFly is a much needed haven for nerds alike. Wether your into card games, Tabletop RPGs, or just board games for the casual user, this is the place to go.

They are not a bad store. But I get banned because they dont pay attention to their prices of cards. So its my fault I found a card in there cheap section for a good price. I mean next time keep up with youre cards and that wont happen. I mean youre stores good. But when it comes to that. Thats on them not. Me yeah I could have said I got it for this when its this. But if the store isnt paying attention maybe you shouldnt deal with that card market.
After a long day at work this is a graet place to relax and play cards with a few of the other regulars. The prices on the snacks and drinks are better than most if not all of the other shops Ive been to. The staff are all friendly, full of personality, and knowledgable about the games they sell. Overall this is a must visit if you are a tcg/tabletop player or just want to try something a bit new if you arent.

Ill let your most recent poor reviews speak as a response to you and your we only allow 10% pre-order of our allotment, and yeah, shipping and logistics is terrible right now, its been 4+ months, maybe hedge your bets and add another 0 to that 0.01% actual allotment when you allow pre-orders; or heres a better idea, do a number super low, maybe 20-50 pre-orders, then if you have more actually show up, then open orders back up and be like hey everyone we got extra and its physically on hand.Update: called and got refund. USE YETIGAMING had my booster boxes arrive to me 12 noon day of release.Update to response: Yes, but when you are trying to cash in on the hype train of the TCG due to streamers and dont limit your pre-orders based on your allotment you get upset customers. Also telling a customer they wont get their pre-order until August, you do realize the next expansion Evolving Skies would have released while youre playing catch-up.
