Small baker clean store. I found everything i needed.

I love their fresh made Liver Pudding, only older folks may even what it is.Meat prices are so much cheaper than the upstate. Its the best store to grocery shop if you in or near Clarendon or Sumter County. Im from the upstate but when Im visiting, I take a cooler to shop for meats.Stay forever strong PIGGLY WIGGLY.

They are still around in the Carolina but fading fast in a lot of places in the south we love this long time standing store

Its been awhile since ive been to a piggly wiggly but I am totally not disappointed.The staff here is very friendly and helpful. They have an actual post office inside and the store has a good selection including a very large and well serviced hot bar at the deli. This deli is one of the types that could give alot of restaurants a good challenge. It looks like they specialize in fried chicken and I havent had it yet but this might be a first choice and their prices are very good for the fried chicken too.

This location has made an effort to be nicer, cleaner, and better; however, the customers seem to be working against the stores best efforts. The store restrooms had been recently cleaned and the wet floor sign was in place but it still smelled awful and was as bad as a gas station bathroom.

Took someone to get something to eat from their grill and I ended spending more buying groceries then they did. It was all good.

The Piggly Wiggly on Guinard Street in Sumter is great! They have a lovely seafood counter with someone always on duty to help you at this counter. They have great steaks. The cuts are better than average. The deli always has plenty of home cooked food for take out. This place is always busy. Check out their spice section,its huge!!! Been looking for smoked paprika. Its there. No. I dont shop here because I live in Manning but I love stopping here for lunch when Im in Town.

The deli clerk was completely unprofessional with exception of the older women. They use pot hygiene when handling food, have no clue how to use a meat cutter, and have absolutely no ettiqutte. Please go to ANY other Piggly Wiggly than here. If you dont get one of the older women to serve you, expect ghetto as hell treatment. No upbringing

My kids are starving and I dont have any 💰 on me can they have a one day shopping spree just one day Sumter pal need to look out for starving kids birthday or something like that and I will try my hardest to make sure they eat every single time. This place has items that are hard to find anywhere else.

This store is always well stocked, with great accessibility to items, clean, and never overly busy. 97% of my interactions with staff are pleasant, respectful, and helpful. On the flip side though never overly busy means less lanes open and limited number of employees to assist with questions or check out. These details earn them a 3 to 4 star rating from me BUT the quality of the food available at the hot bar(open 11 to 6ish)alone bumps them to 5 stars. They consistently replace older items with fresh items, have an excellent number of choices for entrees and sides, and very reasonable prices. (6.99 for 1 entree, 2 sides, biscuit or cornbread, and a drink, 7.99 for same meal but with 3 sides.)Portion sizes are significant as well. Oh and they have the best homemade food and the BEST fried chicken in town!! Puts KFC, Bojangles, etc. To shame. Not even in the same league. You wont be disappointed!

Had just what I needed and very clean.

This is definitely one of the nicer Piggly Wiggly locations in town. It has a well designed parking lot that not only has ample room for customers, but the mature shade trees keep the cars from being ovens when the shopping trip is over. Also, the lost office inside is not only convenient, but it is staffed by very friendly and knowledgeable workers.

Decent grocery store. Quite the name. Costs are a bit more than other stores in the area. Had all the items we needed.

Easy excess

Old Piggly Wiggly trying to look modern. The concrete flooring needs more polish and possibly dying to really make the place more up-scale. The large atrium-style arch at the front needs better lighting. Suggest they point brighter lights at the ceiling to reflect down or put in skylights. Just sad honestly.

Place was clean but a few items were expired and still on shelf. This is not the first time I have found expired stuff from boxed to cheese. So if you do decide to shop check expiration date. Other than that i love the variety of food you can find there.

Got what i wanted with no trouble & they have a promotion where you can get free & reduced pricing on cutlery type stuff. I was there once and already have enough to replace something in my kitchen that was stolen where i used to live. People who work there are friendly and helpful

Drove from Manning for fresh seafood. I called prior to travelling to make sure the seafood department was opened and was told they would close at 7. I arrived at the seafood counter at 6:50 and was told they had already cleaned the steamer and could no.longer steam seafood! She said I could buy some that was cold, and prebagged...I could buy it cold in Manning! Thanks for the waste of a trip. As a general rule (9 years of retail management) when you are open until a specific time, EVERYTHING there should be available until that time- THEN you clean up!

Store is convenient for me but prices do not compare to Walmart by far! I go here for quick things but find they are many times out of basics like milk, eggs, bread! (At least at this particular Pig) Staff is always helpful and courteous, store is always clean. Good for a quick run for groceries but if your doing a big run your better off saving tons going to Walmart.

Again I was in line and the people in front of you were still shopping and the people in front of her was having a problem with their pricing so they took everything out of her cart went over it I waited 20 minutes

I used to love shopping at Piggly Wiggly grocery stores but since Mr. Billys son,Ricky has taken over, all the stores, that havent closed, have went downhill drastically. I only shop there if it is absolutely necessary.
