Last week Darrel, Kyle and Billy came out to install a new A/C unit in my house. They showed up early and eager to get started.Darrel took care of unit inside in while Kyle and Billy focused outside on the concentrator. The unit inside was installed at a time when the walls were not up which proved to be a more difficult removal. Without having adequate space, Darrel pressed on and overcame the less than ideal scenarios.Kyle and Billy worked the outside and did a great job. One time while watching their progress I noticed that the lines going into my house had a gap around them. Wondering what’s preventing things from going in through those holes, I banked the idea of needing to seal those up at a later time. I have another unit next to it that was installed 4 years ago that wasn’t sealed so I wasn’t too worried about it.Kyle took it upon himself to seal up that gap for me and even sealed the gaps on the unit that I had previously installed. I greatly appreciate the level of quality and “care” that he displayed.The three guys showed up early and busted their butts installing my new A/C setup while being very professional throughout the day. I wouldn’t want anyone but those guys working on my house if I ever had the choice again.

Donnie and Hunter came out to install some insulation around our unit and did an excellent job. They were able to come out same day to look at the problem and fix other issues within 48 hours of me calling. They always do a professional job, and Donnie is so down to earth and really knows what hes doing. Would definitely recommend and will use them in the future!

Kyle and Billy did an excellent job on the installation of our HVAC system. They were very conscientious when working inside the house to keep the dirt to a minimum. Kyle even went out of the way to take off his boots when working inside! Both were very professional and well mannered. Would recommend this team to anyone, fantastic job👍

The Thermostat in my home needed to be replaced. I called Air Solutions on Wednesday and they were able to check things out the very next day! Donnie did an excellent job, he was very Kind, polite and Professional. I am very pleased and plan to use Air Solutions in the future.

Just retired and wanted to make sure we had a reliable Heating and Air System that will last long into our retirement years. Called three or four Businesses for a quote. The Air Solutions technician showed up and did a thorough inspection of the current system, the air handler and ducts. He suggested a larger air flow by adding an additional intake. We wanted a complete duct replacement and a minimum of a 14 SEER unit. He quoted us numerous prices based upon SEER Rating, and accessories. We decided on a 15 SEER Trane System, new ducts, new thermostat and a service agreement. The day of the installation (9/27) the crew showed up at 7:00 am and went to work. There were 6 folks on the team and they worked non-stop through the day. We were so impressed by their hard work... We bought them all McDonalds for lunch and I insisted they take a few minutes to eat and drink. At the end of the day the system was installed and working great so far.... Love the new Digital Thermostat... looks like an iPad siting on the wall. No complaints very satisfied to this point...

These guys rock! We called and were immediately connected with someone to take a look at our AC. He quickly figured out what happened, educated us on how to prevent the issue in the future, and made sure to answer any questions we had. They were so knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. Even after we mentioned the deals they other companies were going to give us, they were able to one-up each one.I was probably most pleased with the installation. Within the last 3 years we had my in-laws hvac replaced and had subpar experience and customer service with another company, not the same with Air Solutions.The guys came when they said they would and were very kind and understanding when explaining how to work the new system and the new digital thermostat. One of the issues we had with my in-laws provider was they didnt show them how to use the thermostat. Aie Solutions took the time to show me how to use it in basic mode and even some tips and hints. I didnt even have to read the manual. So grateful. They even took the time to make the hvac look good with rocks around the until. We would definitely recommend Air Solutions to anyone in the greater Columbia area.

Hunter and Kyle were amazingly professional! Both men spoke with confidence and empathy regarding my AC issues. Before leaving, they decided to come back to do a second check for a leak because some readings made them feel uncomfortable. Air Solutions installed our AC unit in our attic. However, when they did so, they did NOT level the drip pan anywhere close to level. They also did NOT provide a drain pipe for the pan to flow outside of the house / attic. As a result, even with the hi level sensor in place and all the way down, my pan overflows in about a 12 hour span (SC humidity), and left some extreme water damage to our ceiling and insulation, and even created a serious electrocution potential, as the sconce to the light beneath the unit filled with water. The LED bulb being used also filled with water.After providing numerous photos of the poorly installed unit, Air Solutions did come back and re-install (corrected the issues with it and provided a more suitable drip pan. Until they could come out, I had to jack the unit up and re-place the support 4x4s that they used initially so that it was leveled. After doing that, I no longer had to empty the pan every 24 hours! When they did come in to correct it, they extended the joists that should have been done with the initial installation. They provided a better suited catch pan. They took the wooden 4x4s out and supported with large styrofoam blocks... and the whole unit is level. They did state that there were definitely issues related to the initial installation, but I still have to fix the ceiling water damage at my cost. I have upgraded them from 2 stars to 3 stars.

Air solutions came out because my unit was freezing up. The technicians that came out found my leak in less than 10 minutes. They showed me everything that was wrong and were very transparent. The salesman was honest with me and showed me the different units and help me pick one that worked for us (He didn’t try to get me to spend every penny I had, he helped me pick what would work for us!). When we chose to replace our unit they came out and filled the unit up for us since it would be about a week until they could get the new unit in. When they came out to replace they were in and out in about 2 hours. Everyone was friendly, professional, and honest with me. They even helped me set up the app and showed me how to work the new thermostat. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the area!

I had an issue with our A/C unit and wasnt sure what was happening. I called at 4:30pm on a Friday afternoon on Memorial Day weekend and Jeff got to my house within 2 hours. My unit was installed previously by Air Solutions for another owner before I lived in this home. During the first warm spell of 2021 I noticed that my system didnt seem to be cooling and that there was a warning symbol on my thermostat. I spoke with someone with at Air Solutions, and due to my amazing smart-home enabled thermostat, they were able to diagnose the issue immediately. Even though it was a weekend, a member of the Air Solutions crew dispatched right away, they arrived at my home within the hour, and had the issue solved and the home cooling within 10 minutes of arrival. Prompt and courteous, with excellent customer service. Google needs a 6th star for a company like this!

Normal service. Very professional. Came in serviced and cleaned the system. Let us know how our system was doing and recalibrated our thermostat. Didn’t know it wasn’t responding as we use the app to control it normally. Tech was a little early which was great and he called first to make sure that was ok.

Steven Anderson gets an excellent review from us. He has been out here twice . Once for regular maintenance and the second to replace A/C drip pan. He is always pleasant and listens to any concerns we may have to get the solution. Awesome customer service.

Awesome service. I believe techs name was Steve. Very professional and friendly. Coil was frozen but he came back after hours and fixed the problem after it thawed out. Would highly recommend these folks. We have a 32 year old Lennox but will definitely be giving Air Solutions a call when it finally dies.

I did a lot of research for my install and settled on Air Solutions. I went for the 2.5 ton, 16 seer package unit. This along with my Solar panels make a world of difference. I would definitely do it again if I had to. It was so worth it!!!

Our system stopped working well and Donnie and TJ got out here quick and found the problem. Unfortunately both units were on the way out (36 and 20 year old units). They didnt immediately try to sell me new units, trying to troubleshoot an affordable fix. I knew I was going to have to replace them even though it was sooner than I wanted. They offered great financing and had both units installed in 4 days of the first call. I feel like I must have met everyone in the company when they were installing and everyone was great and so polite. Im glad I found a great ac team so early in our time here.

It appears that I am a one off with my experience with this company based of the other reviews. I didn’t have the same great experience of everyone else. I reached out to them and Walt came out to my home on June 16, 2021 to quote me for an entire new ac unit installation at my home. I have Been having issues for the last few summers and just wanted to “start over fresh” if you will. At the end of the walk thru I was provided a quote and an installation date and I will was agreeable to that. Another technician came out about a week later to do another walk thru and said that I was good for installation and provided me with the same date. On the day that my unit was supposed to be installed, which I believe was supposed to be June 29 at 7am, I called the office to confirm that I was still on the schedule as it was already 830 am and there wasn’t anyone in sight at my home. I was then told that parts for my order weren’t sent out and that I should have been given a call to reschedule my date of installation but that never happened. It is now July 19th and I have not been given a date to have the unit installed. I contacted the office again on July 13th to get an update and they told me to contact Walt directly. I called him and left a text message with him. He responded that he would contact me following his meeting that day and I haven’t heard a thing back yet. I contacted the office again to just cancel my order and was told that I wasn’t on their list. I feel as if I have been patient but I probably should have been more proactive at demanding an install date. I am currently going through another company and hope to have a better experience. I rated 2 stars because everyone that I encountered was polite but I didn’t feel like I was important to this company during this process and after an entire month of minimal communication, I am still with half working air conditioning during a South Carolina summer.

We do not service the Sumter area but I called Air Solutions after hearing so many great things about them to check the system. All I can say is WOW was I impressed. The call was very easy to schedule, the tech showed up on time, and resolved the issue. The pricing was very reasonable for the work they completed. I was very impressed with the whole process and with me being in the same industry I would not waste my time calling anyone else. They set the bar high.

Donnie and Taylor were a great help! Taylor was able to get a technician out within 2 hours of the phone call and Donnie was able to figure out the problem and provide wonderful insight on the problems. Even recommended me to get the maintenance plan! Strongly recommend this company and will be working with them on any future problems.

Air Solutions office staff and most of the techs are very friendly and pleasant to work with.Our wall unit had to be moved from where Air Solutions had originally installed it when it was new because it was not draining properly, causing water damage and rust stains on the wall of our new home. Due moving the unit being moved from its original position, it also left holes in the the wall in a place difficult for us to repair properly with the unit in place. The wall unit is also visibly not level, because the techs eyeballed it, rather than using a level on the indicated markings provided on the mounting plate. The surrounding wall was left dirty from where the techs rested their arms and hands.It might just be where we live now, but weve noticed that its extremely rare here that sub-contractors take pride in their finish quality or are even aware they lack it, but I believe it is because they were never shown or taught. If techs would take a few more minutes to perform quality work, point out other potential problems that may or may not be related to their work, be proactive with proper tools and parts, they are likely to avoid callbacks with repeat problems in the future, generate more business, and have much happier customers.

The split-unit in my home failed, again…I called, my then heating and cooling company that rhymes with “oykin” quoted me $4,000. That didn’t work for us, so we called Air Solutions. Their quote for the split-unit replacement was 1/2 the price of our initial quote. That won my wife, and I over…realizing the main heat pump for the house was a terrible contract-grade unit that would soon fail, we asked Travis to give us a quote to replace it with a Trane. We realized it was affordable and Travis set us up with interest-free financing. Needless to say my wife and I are extremely happy. The Trane heat pump that Travis chose cut our energy bill almost in half! Charles and the install team were awesome and efficient. Confident in this company’s reliability, I asked them to evaluate and repair a heat pump that was recklessly installed at my work enter (not a by a local company). Funding had run out and work for this install halted for years. Travis’ team designed a fix solution and had it operational in under a week with extremely affordable pricing. They even looked at an older semi-functioning unit to help out…pro-bono. Thank you to Travis, Charles and Joe…all are great Americans! My wife and I are going to build a new house soon…you can bet we will be contracting Air Solutions to design our heating and cooling unit.

Needed a new heat pump. Contacted these guys and had one installed. They were quick and professional. Job went well, and the install was clean. Definitely recommend.

I had requested an inspection of the HVAC system for a client purchasing a home. After a thorough inspection, the Rep went over every detail of the system and its performance. This was the first time I had recommended this company and I was quite impressed. He even re-attached the ductwork to one of the vents, which is not required for just an inspection. Good job! I initially called Air Solutions to perform an inspection/maintenance on an HVAC system @ a house I am purchasing. They took a while to return my call, but explained that they attempt to put emergency calls first. This was understandable, but I do wish that someone had called and explained this in the beginning.Once the appointment was scheduled, the tech gave me a call when they were on their way and they did a great job inspecting/servicing the unit. I will probably use them in the future.
