PMB Review: You pay for a service and you might get good help. They have some people that are wonderful and go above and beyond. Then if you’re lucky you get the ones that don’t care and WILL withhold your mail even after you ask. With no shame they will look you in the eyes and say they don’t know. I regret not going to the bigger city where they have to fight for their existence.
Not Military Friendly at all..tried to set up a mailbox in preparation for my move to Sumter. Although the UPS website allows set up from out of state, this store does not because of past scams, understandable. However I asked to speak with the manager for a military exception and was told they would contact me in 4 days. I waited the appropriate time before I called back about reconsidering accepting an out of state application. The employee informed me that she spoke to the owner and he said no. I asked her again if I could speak to him like I originally asked for 4 days ago..she said she didn’t know when I could talk to him because he owns multiple stores.Columbia UPS store gave me a box in less time with no problems.
I am so pleased with the improvement in customer service. The new staff members who have been hired in the new location have been very professional, patient, and helpful. I visit this store at least twice per week. My only issue is with parking. Its very tight and awkward trying to navigate when traffic is heavy.
9/11/21 the new location is awesome. But, I miss the drive thru already for dropping off packages. Hoping they get enough employees to be able to man the window.
If notary services are only available during certain hours, please post them online. . Posting this information would allow customers to better plan. Thnx

Staff are always friendly,however, why have drive thru service and the window is never open?
Parking lot isnt big enough. What will you guys do when the other store fronts get rented out? Old location was better.
The new location isnt that bad compared to the other location. But there isnt much lobby room.
To the lady with the pink hair....smiling after you snap at someone does not excuse your behavior. I didnt understand your question, but I am far from stupid and I didnt deserve your ire. Do better!

Tried to send a package to Canada. The store didnt send the package with an import invoice, then refused to own up to it. After two weeks the package was returned to my house and they only offered a refund. Does not care about their customers.
The new location is horrible. Bad location, dangerous in and out of location and parking in very small. Smaller store too. When the other empty stores come in, there is going to be nowhere to park.
David and Alyssa were fabulous! So cheerful and helpful, and believe me, we gave them a lot to do.
I was in and out of the store in less than five minutes. The young lady with red bangs who helped me was an absolute ray of sunshine though!
I have always been helped by the nicest people here. They go above and beyond for sure! great service and clean store.
My package was to be delivered last week (paid extra to have overnight delivery). Somehow the apartment # was missing from address, so wasnt able to be delivered on 3/17. I did an address correction online on 3/18. It shows the address correction was requested but has NOT updated any other details 5 days later.Ive called the this store 3 times today & each time before I can say ANYTHING the woman puts me on hold, where I stay for 5-10 minutes till they HANG UP on me without coming back on the line!I understand with all the craziness going on that maybe they are busier than usual BUT come on....common courtesy! Id like to have an update for a service that was paid for NOT be hung up on!!!

Very slow. Shouldnt take 7 mins to mail something.
Me and my wife have recieved all packages shipped by UPS. However most packages are damaged. We returned a few, accepted a few, but not this one. To start with, it took us an hour and a half just to track it down. The products package is torn open and smashed.

Friendly staff! I just walked in, handed ther box over and got a receipt. Fast service is amazing!Also, conveniently placed around many of the main things in Sumter.
When I went in, the employees played Nose goes to see who would help us and then before I could tell them what I needed the employee cut me off and told me shipping was going to be $50 and more for a box and packaging. Will not be using this store again. Very unprofessional.
Tried to return an Amazon package... usually an email contains a scan code... not this time. So I needed to print the return label... Im already at the store so Im thinking they would say... email me the code and I will print it..... nope... we have a computer over there.... then I see a sign that wants $2.50 to use the computer.... lol... I learned a lesson... stick with the Camden UPS store.

This rating is solely for the lack of communication between employees and customers. I was greeted by a gentleman who asked if he could help me. I specifically told him what I was there for. Once everything was done an older lady helped me cash out. Little to my knowledge there were underlying charges that were NEVER shared during interaction with either employee. What I dont understand is why these charges are not listed for the average customer.....to make a conscious decision on their needs.
Every one has always been super friendly and cooperative.

Today I was trying to send out a package overseas to one of my military friends. I come up to the store and there is a sign that says closed Monday 4 July. But as I grab the handle to open the door the door was locked though the hours for Saturday said 930 to 4 PM so whats the deal? In addition I tried to call this location three times no answer.I would love to hear the excuse on why the facility is not open when I said should be guess Im going to FedEx.
