I enjoy this location. It has everything I visit for in stock and I like looking at all the new displays. Store is keep clean and it really adds to the shopping experience. Any employee I am by offers to assist me. They all seem happy to be at work and are working hard at getting deliveries put out or assisting other customers when I see them.

I went to this Target location last week Friday and there was no football trading cards and only a small amount of basketball. Oddly all the other Targets in the Madison area had a good amount of football and basketball products. I recently discovered that an employee (not a manager) was stocking the trading cards. This leaves a lot of room for mistakes to happen especially with how much demand there is for trading cards. Please make sure no stock is being taken by employees before us collectors get a chance.

This store has completely stopped handing out any of the top trading card items. It used to be one of the top stores in the nation. I am not sure what is going on but it seems like stock is not being sold to customers. I have stopped by numerous times to sign up for the list and have not seen any of the big items. I have talked with other customers and none of them have received any of the top trading card items as well. Whats going on, Sun Prairie Target?

Best pickup of any local retailer! Loved the way they tracked my ETA! I knew it was a team effort - I think I was parked at the load zone for less than two minutes...park, pop trunk, roll down window, say yes its me...the gentleman loaded trunk with our order, closed the trunk and he said Merry Christmas! The bags they loaded with were heavy duty too. Wow, thanks!

I shop Target all the time. Great product.

My wife loves Target (what wife doesnt?) and frequents this location often. Its usually pretty clean and orderly, and everyone wears masks other than the occasional resistant customer. Target will not enforce their mask wearing rule or remove these customers for not complying. For some odd reason, this particular store does not stock and sell alcohol of any kind, while the Eastside Target does. Pretty solid selection overall and usually have a positive interaction with the employees.

Pretty standard target. Clean for the most part and the staff were nice when we asked for help.

My experience with Target is that the pick up is easy and convenient. The employees are always ready to give you your order when you arrive and they are always masked. Although once they forgot a major part of our order so we had to go inside, defeating the purpose of choosing pick up.

We love target. Always seem to go in looking for one thing and leave the building with five.

Horrible experience buying sports cards there. The staff had no idea what they are doing and everyday it seems like they just dont have anything to to sell us. The store used to carry a lot of product when the vendor was stocking the shelves, but now with employees in charge of what is sold to customers, there just is not anything available anymore. The workers are getting first dibs and leaving the customers with nothing.4/2021 update: nothing has been done about this issue. Employees are still buying all of the product before it hits the shelves. Management has done nothing to resolve these issues. Do not waste your time going there for sports cards.

Easy to use app for online ordering, red card saves me money and fast store pickup.

Even though I’m much much closer to the Madison East target, this is my preferred Target location especially during last minute holiday shopping as they always seem to have the most in stock. The store has a layout that is much easier to navigate through while maintaining a 6 feet distance.

Last week the manager told me to come back the following Friday if I wanted to purchase some football cards. She said it was so they will have enough product and that they will not sell any football cards until the following Friday. Well I go there today and they have only 6 football blasters for the 20 people that showed up. So much for the not selling any cards for 2 weeks to have enough for everyone today. Every other Target in the area had enough for everyone that wanted football cards, but Sun Prairie Target has not had any in 3 weeks! There can only be one explanation, the employees are buying the products before they sell them to the customers. When the Target 10 minutes away and even the other one on the other side of town have plenty of football cards and then this one has only 6 blasters for a 3 week total, something is not right here. Dont let your employees buy before the customers!

One of the best Targets in Madison area for trading cards.. As of late, it has not been.. The vendor used to show up with tons of products. Vendor always had the top products for us collectors too. Now that its in the hands of the employees, I have seen little to no good products. Where are all of the top products going? Optic megas, prizm megas etc. I sign up every day along with a lot of others who enjoy the hobby and we have all seen little product. I know they disperse product daily to reduce congested lines, but cmon no top products? We sign up everyday, so we know what is getting put into these bags. Where is it all going? This was never the issue when the vendor stocked! Now all of a sudden these productsjust arent available anymore? Just doesnt seem right..

Target resold wireless ear buds that I returned because the right ear was no longer functioning. I know because they were synced to my tile and which just located them yesterday.

Great employees. Picked up a pretty heavy piece of furniture - they offered to bring it out to my car even when it was raining heavily. Of course, I told them to stay dry. But, great service.

I especially like the ladies fashion. Very good quality clothes, jeans etc according to the seasons. Good selection in clearance too. There are discounts on all the store items regularly. Staff is helpful most of the time.

Newer store with clean stock--not overly jammed unlike many competitors stores. I have never been in here though and found the bathrooms clean. Note the inspection card. Its two days old so apparently no ones checked it in some time.

Your typical Target store. I frequent store pick-up and they make it easy to get in and get out (which is the point...). Selection lacks compared to other locations, but the east side of Madison isnt far away if needing other specific items.

This Target location is in a very convenient location, is usually quite clean, and there seems to be a healthy number of employees available on the sales floor. All in all, Ive been pleasantly impressed with the store so far. As always, I hope that the younger employees are being invested in and given chances to shine wherever possible.

Good store. Clean. I went to look for a specific baby wear. Couldnt find and lookes for someone to help me. Sidney Lowe, an employee, took me to where the item was and helped me find all items related to my needs. She was very polite, very helpful.

Full disclosure: I love me some Target.Full disclosure #2: I have no reason to lie to Internet strangers.This Target is cleaner than most Ive been to, and it has more items on clearance more frequently than other Targets; like, East Madison, for example.Returns are a breeze here. They let you exchange makeup as well, so take that makeup-only stores! Some employees are more helpful than others. I havent come across too many employees that dont actually want to help, but if I want someone to help me get to the bottom of a problem and their shift is ending in an hour theyre probably already clocked out, if you know what I mean. But overall, this store follows the model that a million other businesses do: be nice to me and Ill be nice to you.The best times Ive found to go to Target are either in the morning, late afternoon, or early evening. This place is usually packed on weekends, after the typical 9-5ers get out of work, and, oddly enough, the hours after dinner (7pm, Im sneering at you). If you avoid the crowds, youll find this to be a pleasant place where you can take your time staring at the trending home decor, trying on cute t-shirts you know you dont need, and taking in the Target smells.Oh, and get Cartwheel. Just do it. You can stack cartwheel coupons with manufacturer coupons and save quite a bit. You can probably save enough that the prices are on par with Big Blue Whats His Name 1.7 miles down the road.

Clean stores, well stocked with great associates

I went here for my baby registry and the girls working never greeted us then acted confused when I asked for the scanner to scan items I wanted to put on it and said I didn’t need one so I had to explain that it said to ask them for it... then after completing it we were basically rushed out of the line and didn’t feel like they were taking the time to answer our questions I was expecting and excited to receive the goody bag of free samples and coupons but got a reaction that made me feel embarrassed when I asked for it and was told they didn’t do that but plenty of other expecting mothers have told me to go here for it because they received one? Super confused and disappointed that my experience with this wasn’t at all what I expected and hoped for as this was an exciting thing that should be experienced.

I love ordering from Target. It is always quick and the quality has always been excellent.

Great location! I love how it is only a short walk down HWY 151 from Wal-Mart. I bought a meat tenderizer to tenderize my veggies (Im a vegan), and boy, does it really smash those puppies! Love it!

Love Sun Prairie Target! Pick up orders are prepared very quickly, staff are friendly, and shelves are always well stocked!

Drive up service is amazing!! I am fostering 4 diarrhea ridden kittens, and I needed some Pedialyte and baby wipes for them. It was really convenient to order from my phone and have that delivered to my car door since I was in no shape to go inside from cleaning up after them.

The Sun Prairie Target is the cleanest, most well-operated Target Ive ever been in! Staff are always happy and helpful and not as cluttered as most stores. Makes the shopping experience so much nicer to have a well organized, clean and very well stocked store to shop. The staff at all levels were very helpful and knowledgeable, unlike my experience at other discount stores. Having the Starbucks and food counter are a nice bonus!

I’m here almost daily. Pretty clean store that’s easy to navigate, never had an out of stock issue. If you’re someone newer coming to the store it’s hard finding any help. Most of the time the employees b-line past you and keep to themselves. Which I’m okay with but I know others often seek the friendliness of the employees. In the recent months they’ve been better at asking if you’re finding everything okay.

Horrible customer service. Run by entitled teenagers and twenty somethings with no regard for anyone but themselves. Fine if they have what you need but good luck if you actually need to ask someone for help. They will make it very clear that they don’t have to go out their way to provide any customer service at all. Go to a different target if you absolutely have to shop here at all.

Never have enough cashiers and most of them are so slow. We shop here at least once a week and on average they only have 1 cashier working. Im always asking them to bring up more but they often just ignore me

Another usual target store. They have a decent card selection without being too highly priced. Of course many other things, but if theres one thing Id consider going here for now, its Harrys razors. Theyre the same price as youd buy online, and such a great deal, they also have a great smelling foaming shave gel. Also if memory serves, if you are looking for a cartridge shaver of any sort, they dont lock them up or hide them, so its less of a hassle to purchase.

When register crashed at the end of the transaction, before the receipt could print, the person supervising the self-check outs instructed to cashier to run the entire transaction again. When I pointed out that it looked like the transaction had gone through, I was told that if it went through twice, I could just come back in and get the second transaction refunded. So I was forced to pay for my purchases twice and then waste time and gas driving all the way back to the store to get a refund the next day when a competent employee was available.

I mean...its a Target. Its clean, its easy to navigate, I have always had good service there. Get yourself a coffee and wander around to spend money on stuff you dont need. I certainly did.

This is my favorite Target location in the Madison area. Its in the heart of the new Sun Prairie retail center right by other stores such as Woodmans and Costco, making it very convenient. This location never seems to be as busy as the other Madison stores, making it a better shopping experience. Layout and selection is nearly identical to the others, but this one seems to run out of items less often...another plus.Highly recommend this Target!

Always love going here. Lovely staff most of the time. Always leaving with more than we intended to get. Food court people are never there sadly. One if the times we came here the food court person was really grouchy and rude.

Was looking for a squeaky toy for my very small dog. Everything was so big and hard to squeeze.

They have nothing. I dont know if its Covid or lack of funds but they are always short stock on everything.They never have new stuff either. Its not a great place to shop anymore and its disappointing that the Target that is closest to us is the worst weve been to.

I live between Sun Prairie and Madison. Each time we decide to come to the Sun Prairie Target, I regret it. The Starbucks is, by far, the slowest in the area. We moved from the Fitchburg/West side area, and have gone to the Fitchburg, Hilldale, and West side locations regularly, and NEVER have we experienced the sloth-like service as the Sun Prairie Target Starbucks.The first few times that I went to the Sun Prairie Starbucks, I thought it was just a “bad day” or that they were “understaffed”. But time and time again, I’d give it a chance and the service was HORRIBLY SLOW. In addition, we would wait all of that time, and then they would get our orders wrong.We will drive the extra 10 min for better service from here on out. So disappointing. Their baristas don’t seem to care about how long the customers stand around and wait.Worst Target in Dane county.

I never go into a Target and struggle to find what Im looking for. Shelves was picked over & beauty aisles was lacking inventory.

What can I say? Its Target. Always a great shopping experience and selection of cute stuff - I especially love their new line of kids clothes.

Spacious and open concept makes going to Target enjoyable. They typically have plenty of people working the registers and around to help. Plus the red card saves you 5% everytime you go.

In Sun Prairie, its either this Target or a dumpy Walmart. Stick with Target. Staff, selection, and your overall experience are what should be expected for a Target. UW college kids get basic furnishings, neighborhood locals get standard household staples. Ample parking and staff are always friendly.

Ive never had a problem with prices or being charged incorrectly. Outstanding service and very friendly. I love the starbucks and the cafe.

I used to go in and just shop. Im a Target girl! Since moving to the area this is my least favorite place to go. I have resorted to ordering online and picking up at customer service or just having it delivered to my home directly! Customer service is the worst. Smaller selection of items than other Targets and little to no products for a more diverse demographic.

Really getting tired of Target falling short. Going to live orders where you can not look back on the actual order you placed online is rediculous. Even if you go back to the 1st order confirmation, it has changed to what they recently did. I have gotten orders where Im positive I was suppose to get a gift card. It doesnt show on the live order. Ive looked up archives of DEALS online to get my gift cards. They will lie and say that you did not earn one, when I purposely ordered more just to go over the limit.Also, 2 times I have went to place an order for drive up. I learned my lesson after coming back to my online cart, after checking drive up & rechecking. Only to get to the store, look at the order & they have changed it to pick up.Just now I went to place my drive up order & every thing has been changed to pick up! Drive up is not even an option in my cart right now. I contacted online support & they said they were too busy and I would need to call.Nope, I think Ill just order from Walmart drive up. Honestly, all the same items...probably cheaper.
