It was challenging to find someone to help me. However, the store has an excellent variety of accessories. I would only recommend for people who know exactly what they are looking for. The woman who assisted me was very kind, but I walked around for 45 minutes and had to enlist her help after I decided what to buy.
Had a good experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have a large variety of clothes in different price range.
Extremely terrible customer service by the owner. We walked into the store to look for Indian clothing and as any normal customer would do, we were looking through the different options displayed. The owner came in a very sarcastic tone said why are you looking through everything and touching everything. We really thought he was joking and continued looking. He said you need to ask for assistance first but in a very rude way. We then said you never mentioned any instructions when you walk into the store, how would any new customer know this? His response: you need to ask. Again in our mind how would any new customer know this. Then when we were asking for assistance, he barely took any effort to show the clothing. The ones he did show we were looking through it but he kept saying don’t touch. How does this make any sense at all. We need to feel the quality and then eventually try it on. He took no interest in wanting to show us anything from the start and within six or seven minutes we decided that his customer service wasn very poor. We were shocked to find out that he was the owner himself. We walked out and he definitely lost customers for life including our friends and family.
Worst customer service . Non welcoming owner . Terrible attitude. Very rude and says to leave the store . He mentioned they have limited staff . But that’s not our problem. We went to buy clothes and the owner barely showed anything . Even as a regular person he should know how to treat or talk to people .
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!Most HORRIBLE customer experience. I wish I could give negative reviews to this shop. The sales person was extremely RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. They are mannerless and disrespectful with terrible attitude.
Worst service. No one bothered to help us with the items even after multiple requests at last some guy came to show us (I didnt feel he is worker there he may be the owner). He wants us to tell him the size and color only then he shows us it seems. I dont know if that is how he shops for clothes. I dont think anyone else does like that. With great difficulty he showed us couple of options gives us an impression of take it or leave it. If possible I will give negative rating.
Great service. I’m very large so it’s been hard to find a kurta that fits but Dale spent a lot of time making sure I found the best one. Pinal was wonderful too and helped my wife find a beautiful sari and made sure she knew how to wear it and style it. Will absolutely be back!
Dont go here, but if you must, go with a clear and exact description of what you want for you wont be allowed to browse and wont be shown a few options.Had been here looking for a kurta. There is nearly nothing useful on display. The dude will treat you with a DO NOT TOUCH shout if you go anywhere near the boxes in which they keep/hide all the clothes. We were so stupid that we asked for a few more options even after having been shown about 3 options. For that, we got what do you really want?. My desi brothers, stay away.
I had a very difficult fabric from India (100% silk and hand embroidered) and they were SO professional and kind. They have every possible thing anyone could need going to an Indian wedding or party or anything like that. 10/10,thank you guys so much!!!
Good collection of Indian traditional dresses.
Really expensive! You are better off buying online.
DONOT BUY CLOTHES FROM HEREThey have clothes with sweat smell 🤣 and they are rude about it when we pointed it out. The lady was rude and arrogant. Not a great service too, so I strongly not recommend buying clothes here. Worst experience ever
Great one stop shop for Indian traditional clothing. They have men’s, women’s, kids - clothing, shoes, JewelleryThey have a lot of stock so a lot of options to choose for and they also offer free alterations.A bit in the pricey side
Its too good... But very expensive place
I wish I could give them -10 stars as they don’t even deserve 1. Worst customer service ever. Not friendly staff, incredibly rude and they have no manners. I would not recommend coming here for anything.
Helpful and nice service. Good selection, and fair price.
We went to buy two simple pieces of cloth. The lady who assisted us was very prompt and informative, and readily fetched us what we needed. We will definitely visit this store again in case we urgently need any traditional Indian clothing. The store was quite huge and they seemed to have all kinds of Indian clothing. They even offer tailoring services. Both the prices of the clothes and the services seemed nominal. They have another branch at Dublin, CA. The Dublin branch is smaller than the Sunnyvale branch.
Really good and wide collection for ethnic wear. The staff is really friendly and helpful. We ended up buying my engagement lehenga and my to be fiancé Nehru jacket and kurta.
I went to purchase a saree for my engagement with my fiancé here. Told them the color and style we were looking for. First they had no blouse to match the saree and they kept trying to tell us the colors matched. Then purchased one and were charged $100 for stitching on top of the saree and blouse cost. They kept the saree in the store for stitching. The next day I decided it was not a good color and wanted to return the saree. I was told because of Covid I could not return the saree. Even though the saree was still in there store and never even worn. My fiancé had to call them and go into the store 2 times before they would return the saree. Then they still charged us $70 for a restock fee. I would not advice anyone to purchase from this store. I have had multiple bad experiences at this store & thought maybe it was just that one staff member. Buy no it’s never gotten better. I’d not advice anyone to shop here.
Staff is very mannerless and disrespectful. Would not recommend at all.
Amazing collection, beautiful set up and super sweet staff. Very helpful and dedicated. Felt amazing selecting the choices but more so with the help of genuine ladies.
You know that feeling of Im not worthy of your love thats what you feel at this business. They are selective with who they give service to. The owner use to be very humble back in the days when she just owned her Hayward store, she has now become very arrogant to the point where she tells her staff who to help and who not to. I personally witnessed this when she was talking to her staff about a customer. Now as far as the clothes, you are going to come across very shinny parrot colors. Nothing elegant to be found here, and if you do find something nice, more than likely the owner has worn it to some event already and is now recycling it.I had not wanted to write about their poor customer service because I have bought from this store so many times, but I was embarrassed in front of my family the last time I went. I had literally travelled 200 miles to get to just her store and the owner who is fully involved with the sales in her store was just too cool. Her and her staff kept showing me bright orange and green neon colours. I just dont understand why they dont keep subtle colors.
Large Indian clothing shop with a good selection of traditional everyday wear to more formal attires. They have everything for men, women and children (though there is way more stuff for women). The shop is very clean, well organized and best of all it has 6 fitting rooms. The staff is friendly and accommodating.Price wise I think its reasonable for the US, given they probably have to pay some import taxes and rent, salaries for employees, etc. I dont think its a fair comparison with prices in India.
DO NOT SHOP HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!!! Low quality, over priced, damaged products. The staff and owner are rude and the selections are limited. Nothing special here, they are cheap and dont know how to run a business.
Expensive and has good collections.
The collection is good. There is a lot of variety. Staff is good. You can try dresses on. But I found multiple problems:-They had dresses in particular size only. If you need size change, you need to get it altered from them and that costs around $40 and 15 days.-If you like some dress, but want colors in that, there is a very little chance to get those here.-The prices are almost double of what you would get in India.-To give an example -> Rs.150-300 kurti from India is $10-$15 here (plus taxes, I am guessing).-The better and cheaper option is to buy it from India and ask someone to send it here.
I had a great experience shopping here. They take the time to really understand and cater to your style. They can also alter your dress to fit you perfectly. I would absolutely recommend this place. Great styles and great service
This shop has an amazing collection of Indian clothes. I went there to buy my wedding lehenga. They have extremely friendly staff who are willing to help out with full enthusiasm.
Its very expensive and some clothes are used and dry cleaned, they are not looking new or fresh. Each piece is unique in size and pattern 🤣. Owner is very rude. Everybody in the shop was busy to move things around. I wish I could give -ve star. You have to choose colour and then sales person will open that dress for you. Better buy online or ask someone to bring from India.
Large store, tons of inventory, but extremely rude staff. They either live in a grumpy state, or dislike white people. I came to this store looking for a garment to wear to an Indian wedding, a style of clothing I have never worn. The woman who was helping me (loosely term applied here) could not have looked at me with more disdain. I guess if youre white, they realize you most likely will not be a repeat customer, so why bother with you. Clothing are not easliy accessible, as they are sealed in celephane bags. So if you require trying on several pieces, to find one that fits decent, is comfortable, or that you like - then to hell with you. Id stay away from this place.
Good store, staffs are very helpful
Extremely rude staff .... very expensive & they carry same old collection from ages ...I will never ever visit them again .....
They carry so many options. Found clothes for both boys at a reasonable price. They do carry many expensive things but you should be able to find affordable options.
Most of the collections are boxed n doesnt have cover picture. So you dont know how it looks i.e style n fit till it is unopened from box. You have to pick the color they will show you the dress only then. Wat if I like color n doesnt like fit. I feel ridiculous at this age of shopping .
Fantastic experience shopping at Sagar Exclusive! This was our first and last stop looking for a bridal lehenga for my upcoming wedding. There are so many options and Varsha + team will help you sort through the best looks for you. I never felt rushed or pressured throughout the experience and the whole team was patient and receptive to feedback as we sorted through the options. Varsha has a vision and energy that makes the shopping experience enjoyable- even for those who may not be natural shoppers! We are so happy to have found this store- such a gem and such great people too!
Really great collection of Indian wears of all kinds. Though I felt the prices were on the higher side but considering the varieties they had at one place, its worth trying out.Virag provided great customer service and helped patiently for more than an hour which we spent in the store trying out various Lehngas.
I agree with some of the other reviews that Sagar Exclusives has a great selection to choose from. Admittedly, the prices are high, but if youre in need of Indian clothes and/or any accessories that are made of quality, this is your one-stop shop!I also really appreciated that I was never pressured to purchase anything until I was ready. I ended up finding a sari that I liked (which I eventually purchased) during my first visit to the store. Given the price, I shopped around and even went back to Sagar a few times to make absolutely sure that this was the outfit I wanted. Asma Aunty was the person who helped me during each of my visits. She was really patient and courteous each time and never made me feel guilty for walking out empty-handed.When I finally made a decision to purchase the sari, the staff did a great job with the alternation of the blouse. Asma aunty also helped me find perfectly matched bangles from their huge, organized, and color-coded selection.Based on my overall great experience, I would recommend Sagar Exclusives to anyone looking for good quality Indian clothing or accessories!
Working at this showroom for the better part of my life has been a truly unique and life building experience. I have learned so much for my customers and coworkers as well as regulars in the area. Thank you all for the wonderful support over the years and making it possible to open and maintain the largest bridal showrooms in the US. It is a pleasure serving each and every one of you and we will always here as a one stop IndoWestern bridal and party attire showroom.
I went to This shop with my wife because she had her bday. The collection was really okay, but when i looked at the price tags they were 5 times more than what we get in India. My wife was really unhappy with the over hyped prices and said there are other shops in bay area which are way reasonable and provide quality products.OMG, this much loot I had never seen. The quality of the dresses are okay, but too over priced and not worth. it.Our friend circle who went there also complained for same things. The mail staff is really rude and full of attitude. They dont know how to do business, because they misbehave the customers and also the fellow staff of the shop.I Will never ever go there and ask my friends and relatives to stay away from this place.
This shop everything they have its expensiveworker have no respect for the customerI bought 2 dress for my wifeI give them the size and imagesthe first dress was a very large measure the price was $225my wife repaired the dress for $100the second dress my wife did not like it. and a large measure the price was$450 I tried switching in the second dress but workers did not give me any attention
Good collection of traditional Indian dresses. Price is on the higher side.
The owner is an ass hole. He is catering to Indian crowds and every thing in his store is for Indian population and he talks cheaply and insults Indians. You Indians, These Indians are some of the things he says. I declined to buy from him specially an Idiot who cannot respect the segment of customers he caters to. I wont visit his store ever again.
The blouse stitching costed 80$ and I also brought an earring to match with it which was 110$. Totally overpriced. I would say like 50% more than what we would pay in india. Nothing to comment much on the staff. Neither found them helpful much nor found them unobserving. Not very enthusiastic staff overall.
Very nice place to get some traditional Indian clothing
Huge variety of clothes for all ages and kept very well. They have shoes and jewelry also but not in the same variety as clothes. Alternation is done also. Store is spaced out well.
Very nice and big store in Bay Area, they have huge collections with latest designs. Their customer service is awesome, they never get irritated to show several designs either with patience.Must visit store
Love the store, has a lot of collection and very friendly staff
Varsha was excellent in helping me choose a kurta for my son and a dress for my wife.. her choice of colors and fit was awesome.. Sesh

Very expensive and with the quality
Super Expensive and I really did not like the designs ..
This place is a scam to loot people. Worst service
Best service and price.
