This is the best grocery store in Sunnyvale. The choice of fresh meat and cheeses is mind blowing. Im a short term visitor in Sunnyvale but when compared to your usual US grocery stores, this one is in a league of its own. There is a separate bakery run by the sam family (I guess) that has just the best cookies, I especially recommend the fresh corn bread. If by any chance you want to get a piñata, they have a ton just hanging around ;) Speaking Spanish recommended but not necessary.

GJ Market is a set in small business building near the 101 via Borregas, you can get just about any Mexican/Hispanic food staple here. Prices are competitive and they have imported/specialty alcohols like tequila and some american beers too. Meat department is legit and have fish and standards: like carne asada and chicken meats. Lots of snacks, chips and sugar bread stuff too. Seem like they do not serve many whites. Everyone seemed uneasy with me coming in store. Nice little store, but just go down 7-11 you know how you are treated there.

Excellent taqueria, grocery store and pandulce all owned by one family. They also have a barber shop thats been there since 1993. Check it out!

Awesome little neighborhood Hispanic market. People are always super friendly. The selection is a little small and can be pricey for some things, but somethings are also super cheap and nice to be able to just walk to and get.

Great products and customer service, I am waiting for Rubys taqueria to open again, I miss enchiladas michoacanas....delicious..

The best little market I have seen in many years. This is a FAMILY owned and operated store. They take great pride in offering what YOU AND I want. Everything from pet food to beautiful fruit, veggies, meats, mexican breads and dairy better priced than safeway! They carry a HUGE variety! LOVE the store...LOVE the family!

Mexican supermarket with big selection of dried chiles and a large fruit and vegetable section. Though, I find the Chavez supermarket near by much better.

I find all i need, at a reasonable price and the best thing is sooo close to my apartment. I miss my Mexican couisine ingredients and i find everything in this small market from Mexican candy and cookies to hard to find hot sauces and fresh produce. Friendly staff at the Carniceria and the outstanding service in the alcoholic beverages section make it always a first to go option when in need of produce.
