Stopped in to see if they had a replacement part for a gas range. They gave me great advice on how to fix my problem and my son got a toy! Good people. Good service.

If I could give a zero star rating, I would. No exaggeration when I say that this is the most unacceptable service I’ve ever attempted to receive. Not only did I waste a full work day waiting around for them just for me to call and find out five minutes before closing that they didn’t even have me scheduled, but then spent 2+ hours on the phone with them trying to set up the actual date of service. Completely rude on the phone; talking over me, repeating the same sentence over and over, and putting me on hold for 15+ minutes to “find my paperwork” that I emailed not more than 20 minutes before calling. When the service person finally arrived, he took 10 minutes to rip the machine out of the wall (and just leave things hanging and not put back after!)diagnose and then called to notify me that the parts needed were on back order for an undisclosed amount of time, and couldn’t connect me to anyone who’d be able to help see if this would still fall into my year warranty with the manufacturer. If you have any concern for your own time or your own dignity, don’t waste your time with this facility.

Johnson Appliances customer service does NOT answer their telephone for customer calls. When I was finally lucky enough to get through after seven calls over three days, I was told the parts they stated they ordered for me three weeks ago had never been ordered. Then, they blamed their lack of internal communication on GE, accepting no responsibility themselves. Thus, they could not give me any date as to when they would have parts and be able to repair my dishwasher. DO NOT GO HERE!

Service completed for a parts replacement was adequate. However, during replacement of a refrigerator door, an interior drawer was cracked. Made 6 attempts (3 calls, 3 e-mails) about the damage. Based on speaking with the phone representative, I confirmed the messages had been received. There has been no response at all from Johnson Appliance. None of the phone calls or e-mails was returned.

I’ve only ever had a good experience with Johnson Appliance Repair. Over the years I’ve had them repair multiple appliances with great results every single time. I would absolutely recommend them and I will absolutely call them next time I need an appliance repaired.

My wife attempted to schedule some warranty work on a brand new reFRIGIDerator bought through the HD. She spoke to a nice woman there who said she would reach out for us and that the company would probably be sending a technician out to our home to correct our problem on-site. Sounded great! A few weeks later we had not heard anything so my wife decided to get back in touch with the nice lady. This time she recorded a reference number for our service call and was informed that Johnson Appliance Service would be contacting us to schedule an appointment. Now, I dont know who dropped the ball on that one, so I cant really blame JAS for that one, but reading some of the other reviews here, I think I have an idea. What happened next I can blame JAS for. They were supposed to call us, but my wife ended up calling them. Thats fine. But my wife, who is a very professional person and extremely kind and adored by her clients, found both of the women at JAS rude, pushy, and had poor communication skills. She said they were asking her a lot of questions, seemed disorganized, and just not very good at their jobs. She asked them to have a technician call me but that seemed like an overburdening request for JAS. She did manage to get an appointment scheduled however, 5 calendar days, 3 business days later. Fine. Now for my personal experience. The next morning a woman from JAS called me. Im sure it was one of the same that spoke with my wife. She said she was getting things set up for the appointment and needed the model and serial number from the fridge to make sure it was covered under warranty. Fine. I said I was so glad she called because I needed to speak with the technician about something before the appointment. I had some questions about our particular situation and maybe he/she could tell me about our problem from their perspective and perhaps even save us (and them) the time of making the service call (highly unlikely). Practically before I could even finish my polite exchange she had somehow managed to ask me THREE times for the same bit of information. As if I didnt hear or understand her the first time! I politely explained that I had heard her and I was not standing in front of the fridge at the moment so she would need to wait a minute for the model and serial number. I looked up the information and the entire phone call lasted 6 minutes according to my call history. Pushy! Impatient!Ten minutes later the technician calls. Great! I can finally get some answers! I asked my question and he lied to me about the functionality of a particular part. That is not what that part is designed for it states in the manual. Ok, maybe he didnt know the answer so he made one up? Unknowledgeable! A professional would offer a solution to the problem. He offered none. I said fine I will do it myself because I already know how to fix this, but I shouldnt have to because it is under warranty. He said I will end up destroying the fridge. Unbelievable. This person doesnt know me or my capabilities! Insulting! In my opinion, this business is filled with very unprofessional, very rude, very angry to be alive people. Its time for them to get out of the business and find something that makes them happy. In my opinion they should not be performing warranty work. It takes the focus off of the end user.

We had an appointment confirmed - they did not show up or communicate to us that they could not make the appointment. I took the day off work to be home for the repairs and no calls, text, email, nothing. When we called to reschedule and asked what happened, no responsibility was taken, all she said was “everyone else is going to take this long too”. Pfft, Twin Cities Appliance service had my part ordered and dishwasher repaired in less than 2 weeks.

I previously gave this business a 1 star review,  mostly for horrible customer service.   I dont know if they replaced the person I earlier spoke to,  but the recent contact person couldnt have been more pleasant and helpful.   The technicians arrived on time and stayed until the job was done,  even though it took longer than expected.   I was only charged the original estimate amount.   And now my built in microwave works again! The only reason I gave  4 stars and not 5 is that I thought they could have done a better job at keeping me informed of when the part might arrive without me having to call. (It took a month).  All in all, Im a satisfied customer.

When I 1st called them for a service repair the lady told me, they would have the service repair call me back to set up date. Well a week went by and still no call. Finally the person called and set up the date. The lady came out and said all it was the timer dial. She told me it would be at the store to pick it up within 2 days. Almost a week later it was wasnt in. So now I ordered the part myself online. And one of the ladies in the store was rather rude also telling me your part will be here tomorrow, ya right I haven been hearing this every single day and the guy told me he would look into it and never called me.

Canceled or rescheduled 3 times over a month period. Last appointment was canceled due to tech being exposed to covid, two hours after appointment was scheduled to show.....was asked two weeks prior to reschedule because they over booked. So I doubt it has anything to do with covd. Person that schedules appointments is super rude. Finally just called someone else.

Avoid these people. I made an appointment through Whirlpool’s site. No show, no call the day of appointment. I explained I had to take time off of work and wanted a discount for the inconvenience. They said that’s not their problem and to call Whirlpool. I said that should be their job. They said they don’t have time for that and it’s extremely frustrating calling Whirlpool. So apparently their time is way more valuable than mine. Owner was “very clear” they don’t give any discounts for bad service, and especially referrals from the manufacturers. Sounds like a really great owner with great business aptitude :-/

I had another service company come out to work on my washer and refrigerator both are a little under a year old and had multiple issues with each. The Sears repair man seamed overwhelmed and after multiple trips and nothing resolved they told me that my appliances were unrepairable! I called Johnson Appliance Service and the next day a repair man came to my house and simply from me explaining my issue when the repair man called to confirm my appointment...the repair man brought parts with him and actually fixed my washer and had to order a part for my fridge ... If you want someone knowledgeable professional and want it done right call Johnsons Ill be recommending them to anyone I need of service!!!!

Literally cant understand how this place is still in business... First appointment, the tech showed up 6 hours late. There was ZERO movement on my repair, outside of me calling to inquire the status. There are two women who answer incoming calls. One is super nice and polite, and she deserves better than to work here. The other has no business working in customer service in any way. My compressor was supposedly ordered about 10 days ago, but I simply never heard back from them. I found someone else to do the repair in a fraction of the time. Stay away!

I called for service on my kitchenaid refrigerator, was warming up. They came the same day and put a new control. I was worried if it could be fixed and to fit in that size area it would have been a special order to buy a new one, I wouldnt have had a refrigerator for another 3 weeks. They were very reasonable and gave a guarantee of 1 yr on the labor. Great experience and the tech was so wonderful!

Would I even give 1 star? I am not sure! This all started on June 7th and here I sit with still no washing machine on August 16th. 4 calls out to our house for the same thing, each time the service tech leaving without the machine working only to need another part. They seem to be ok with it saying whirlpool is paying for it. We understood that an estimate needed to be made to whirlpool first for them to approve it (this was their excuse for not getting back to us the first couple weeks! This should have been our first sign to find someone else or go buy another new machine. Our machine is just over a year old!). If we are adding more parts how can they approve that? Every time I call to talk with someone I get told someone will call me back. No one returns calls. Service has been put off a couple of times. (Tech Hirt, going to be late) I have not one good thing to say!

I am so disappointed. Last summer an extremely rude repairman serviced my washing machine (which was under warranty). Without going into details, he was just awful to me and my adult son. He made us feel very stupid and like dirt. I called the company numerous (10-15 times) to have someone call me back. No one ever did. Seven months later I just received a bill from the company, which had added to my feelings. I have called the company again recently to no avail, and am now contacting the state attorney generals office. I have also talked to other people in the business and they knew exactly who I was talking about (the rude repairman). What a shame that one very rude person can ruin a company, but I guess he should be happy that his bosses are behind him (and not caring about the customer).EDIT: I read your response. I have called your office numerous times during the past seven months giving you my name and many other specifics, begging you to call back. Im done. Ill let Keith Elisons office do it now.

Had Two service calls for my Whirlpool washer. First one was on June 24th with a 9-6 window.(No show, No call) Called @ 5:55 and got Sue(poor customer service on her end) in the office. She told me they were over scheduled for refrigerators and she could get me an AM appointment on Monday July 1st 9-12. ONCE AGAIN NO SHOW or Call.(once again, Sue gave me the same excuse that refrigerators came first) Then why in the hell would you schedule me with a 8-12 window knowing that you would not be able to get me my service call) This is the WORST Customer service Ive ever had in my life. How can you run a business with people like this.Called Whirlpool Customer service and was rescheduled with Iron River Appliance Repair. Heard from Ben Hyde the next day and he was at my home and fixed my washer within 1 hour. Will definitely be doing business with Iron River Appliance again!!Johnson appliance you have a lot to learn with customer service!!!

Maytag service center and Johnson Appliances are not communicating very well concerning scheduled service appointments or pricing of service calls. Phone experience with Johnson Appliance was such that I chose to use a different appliance repair service.
