Although the middle of the road food had only a passing connection to its American origin, it was good enough and reasonably priced. A milk shake was actually very good.

An ok restaurant. Although staff are kind and respectful and very helpful, the food needs a little more improvement. I would recommend to eat here for breakfast if theres nothing at home.

I had never had an American breakfast so it was my first time. I tried the Washington waffle and oh my goodness it was divine i was truly in heaven when i was eating this the sweet waffle topped with a fried egg with crispy bacon and smothered in sweet maple syrup i can not explain in words how good it was if i tried my brain would melt. The only thing i can say is you have to try this diner its one if Newarks best kept secret in my opinion totally brilliant.

Nice friendly place staff were very nice and friendly. Had a very nice banana milkshake and good cup off coffee food was as expected of an American style diner all piping hot and well cooked. Newark-on-Trent is a nice place but seemed very quiet for a sunny Thursday afternoon.
We like it in this diner. The food is simple but well cooked and the staff are friendly. Prices are very competitive and you only pay for what you get - no inflated prices just because it is popular. Good rock and roll and pop music from the 50s and 60s playing in the background and it feels like that era when youre eating your lunch. Always visit when we go to Newark.

Poor and obviously health and safety violations and the drinks somehow were terrible. I didnt know how badly you could mess up a milkshake.

Love how the place is & the food is lovely & the 2 members of staff that were in there were lovely. Wish l had got there names but for anyone who goes in there regularly there is photo of 4 the staff all glamed up in evening dresses and l think both ladies are to the right of the photo or one of the ladys is the 1st on the left so if you are a regular you may know who lm referring too & how nice these ladies are. Definitely will be going again.
