I took my jeep into the shop for some warranty work and also decided to have it detailed while there. Ive been around the car business a bit and I have to say they did the best job I have ever had done on my detail job as well as the work done on my jeep. Could not be happier, feel like Im driving a brand new jeep again and believe me my jeep get filthy with search and rescue and dogsThank you so much
Great visitJust out of my price range
I got a great deal and I got what I needed done at an exceptionally fast rate. Brian is a great salesperson.
I waited for too long 80 minutes and I didnt got my smog check done. I got charge almost 100 dollars. I had the worse experience in my life. Never go to a dealer for smog again! My fiance bought 2 cars in the last 6 years and he was very disappointed too!
Their customer service is lacking. There is no communication on their part. It is a Recall threw Ford and they dont care told me to pay for it out if my pocket and have never ordered my owners manual that was in the Due Bill when I bought my car. After this problem is taken care of I will never do business with Susanville Ford again.
Bought an F-150 through Susanville Ford in late 2019. This was the 4th vehicle Ive purchased new, and it was by far the easiest. I didnt have to sit in a financing office for hours. They didnt try to force feed me extras like ceramic paint and underbody coatings. It was straightforward and fast. They really took care of me. Well worth the drive from Redding. Im still waiting on a call back from Crown Ford.
Always friendly and service is great...even if have to wait for parts.
Its a good place to get a car
I am 1,851 Miles from their dealership, yet they made it the easiest to buy from. Ive been looking for over a month at local dealerships within 100 miles from me and it has been nothing but a headache. Decided to Branch out out of state and came across a vehicle at their dealership. I called one morning and Pat picked up the phone. He went over the vehicle with me and I told him I wanted it, between Pat and Shane (finance manager) they made this process unbelievably easy being so far away. Easy to work with, caring, quick responses, and nothing but the best experience I had with this dealership and these two guys. They took care if all the paper work, the shipping of the car, everything. 100% satisfied.
Bought our last 3 vehicles there. See Pat for the best service
We had a pleasant experience. The financing became a bit tricky and they had to scramble but made it work. Cole was wonderful and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a car.
Great place to shop for cars.
They took care of the recall issue on my car quickly, without a trip to Reno
We had a major issue with the registration process for the vehicle we purchased, but Chris was very Professional and did anything he could to make up for the mistake.
Yall are great!! So glad I bought local.
It was the worst experience I have ever had at an auto repair shop. I would highly NOT take anything to their service repair shop because I took mine they had it for 124 days and was not able to properly diagnose or fix my car. In fact, the car was dropped off running and had to be TOWED OFF the lot because they could not put back together. Our total loss of $19000.
Unfortunately, not many options near by for new car shopping. Next time Ill happily drive several hours away for less pregiduced service.
I had a great experience.
Purchased a new truck. Great sales staff, no pressure. They worked hard to earn our business.
The service writer, James Lewis was extremely helpful. I had low tire pressures on my truck and he was more than happy to assist me with a smile and no charge!!!
As a person who never would go to a dealer I have renewed hope that there may be a few that good. Chris, the service manager, made it clear that they do not work on RVs yet would ask his techs if any would be willing to tackle front brakes on our E450 Class C. Pat agreed to take it on. Parts guy said they do not stock the parts. Said they could get them from Oreielys. I was dumbfounded. A Ford dealer willing to use a parts house??!! Any way I have a commercial account and the parts guy said no problem for me to use my account. We had to wait over night as a couple of the parts needed where not in stock. Chris helped us find a close RV site and we showed up in the morning at the dealer. As soon as Pat had parts in hand he labored outside in the hot sun for three hours to replace the brakes on the front of the RV. We where on the road by 1PM. Never before have I received such great service from a dealer. Thanks to Chris and Pat for the great service.
Ok
Very easy going atmosphere with all around great people. During our truck purchase we were assisted by BJ, Pat, and Robert who were very kind and accommodating. They made the process easy and I felt well informed each step of the way. They even made popcorn for my son while we were waiting. Thanks guys!
2 years ago I bought 2 vehicles about a month apart. A 2011 Toyota Tacoma and a 2014 Ford Taurus. Got good deals on both and 2 years later I went to refinance, hoping for an even better rate. Everyone and their brother wanted to refinance the Toyota which had held its value. No one would refinance the Ford because we were way upside down on it. I had heard that the dealership had another Toyota Tacoma in a 2015 with 34,000 miles and went to talk to them about trading in the Taurus. I had had great experiences the first two times with very very little pressure from the salesperson and when I went back I found there had been a change in ownership. I was worried that it would be different from the previous two times but it wasnt. My salesperson worked with me for 3 hours and we finally got a deal worked out that worked for me. They gave me way over blue book on the Taurus, and I put down a very small amount compared to what was still owed on it. I walked away with the Tacoma and a better rate on the loan for a vehicle that will hold its value even after it is payed off. Thanks Shay for putting in the extra time and effort and working with me.
Even after a negative review from a previous bad experience these guys went FAR out of their way to work with us. Customer service was awesome and got a Brand new car. Thank you guys, it feels good to shop local.
Nice but prices are high on everything
My car purchased last April has been recalled. They are fixing it. Nice people.
They cant perform emissions testing on older vehicles. :( Ive got a 79 Dodge and California DMV is forcing me to get emissions testing done on something that few SMOG shops are willing to touch. (Update: There is actually no reason i couldnt give a 5 star rating for this business. Just because they dont smog older vehicles doesnt make them less valuable to those who can receive their services.)
Great deals. Very nice cars.
My experience at Susanville Ford was great! My salesman Shane was knowledgeable on the Super Duty and made the process easy. Having bought many vehicles before, I would say that this was the best experience Ive had in a long time!
2 years ago we purchased a Ford Fusion Titanium from Susanville Ford and we didnt have any issues. We are expecting another child so we came in to trade in our car for a bigger vehicle. The sales department was amazing. They were very friendly and helpful. They worked with us and our negative balance on our last car which was awesome. We drove home in our new/used vehicle. Two weeks later it started acting up while driving on a highway. It started downshifting on its own over and over. We were close enough to my work that my husband was able to drive 25 to get there. We parked it and got a ride home from a family member. My husband called the sales department but since it was Sunday there was nothing they could do to help us. Monday morning I got a ride to my work so I could call and make arrangements. After many hours on the phone with the warranty company, the dealership, the service department and the general manager, it turns out that the dealership never turned in our warranty check or paperwork. Now it was in the hands of the dealership. By 6pm that night someone came with a trailer from the dealership to pick up our vehicle and bring us a rental. The next morning they called and said it was some sort of new recall (in the last 2 weeks that we owned it, I guess) and they had fixed it. The man from the night before drove our car to my work and picked up the rental. After work I went out with all three of my kids and turned the car on. Immediately the lights in the dash started going crazy. I decided to drive it because I needed to get us home. I started down the highway and it started downshifting again and the dash was throwing codes, going crazy and on top of that the speedometer wasnt working. I was able to find a spot to pull over and waited for my husband to come and drive it home (he didnt want his pregnant wife and 3 kids driving down the highway like this). We had somewhere to go that evening so my husband called the general manager and he sent the same guy to come get our car AGAIN and leave a rental for us. We left the keys in our car at our house and went to our event in my husbands vehicle.A few days went by and we heard nothing about our vehicle. I called the service department 3 days later and they said they thought someone contacted us to tell us what was going on with our car but that they were waiting on a part. So, I proceeded to have to ask what was wrong with the car in the first place (especially since it was supposedly a recall that they fixed). This was a Friday and they said they would have it ready by Monday. We didnt hear anything until late on Monday and couldnt get out there until Tuesday. We live 49 miles away.On Tuesday we go pick up our vehicle and didnt even think about our keys until the next day when I asked where our keys were so I could go get our mail at the PO Box. It turned out the keys they gave us back werent our keys that we left in our car days before. We called and they said the guy that worked on our car is out for a few days so they will let us know when he gets back what happened.A few days later we get a voicemail that they have no idea where our keys are. They said our alarm was going off on our car so they had to reprogram a new key (so where is our original key with the alarm button to turn it off ?). So now we dont have our keys to our house and our mail box. We have to pay to get those replaced. On top of it we dont know who could possibly have the keys to our house. Another little thing thats added in to it is that my sunglasses are always left in the sunglasses holder in the car and they are missing.I will avoid going to this service center again as long as I can help it and we will take our purchases to another dealership.
They were very helpful
Worked hard to fit us in for warranty service before we left on vacation. Pamela was super nice and efficient. Way better treatment than Carson or Reno Ford dealers!
Love the dealership. Service department does a great job. The sales department works hard to get you in the vehicle you want at a price thats eight for you.
Met Pat and Matt.....quality people at a hometown kinda dealership. No hassle, no pressure, even when window shopping. Ill be back =)
Brian was our sales consultant. We never felt rushed or pressured. He answered all our questions and made the process smooth and easy. Very pleased with our service at Susanville Ford.
Great sales staff, well worth staying local. They have a better selection than Reno, and the sales team arent pushy.Trust me, I went all over Reno multiple days, I should have looked local first.
They dont need to be a mega-dealer pressuring you to buy anything on the lot. Whatever makes the dealer happy to fill a quota wont be found at Susanville Ford. From the owners to the secretaries Ive never reached anyone that is having a bad day. The service advisor Loree Hays does not rush her schedule to Get em in and out of here then move on to the next feeling. You are made to feel like a friend so I recommend Susanville Ford for an excellent purchasing experience and future connections.
I have purchased several vehicles from Susanville Ford as have other family members. We continue using Susanville Ford for their reliable honest buying experience. We especially have enjoyed working with Brian in the sales department who is always willing to listen and understand our needs for a proper vehicle.
I dont usually write anything about a car / truck dealership because in my opinion there all usually about what you expect them to be nothing out of the ordinary. But I must say Susanville Ford has a small-town friendliness about it and they dont pressure you to buy. I was just browsing with a friend of mine that was looking for a new vehicle. A gentleman came out to see if he could help his first name was Pat he took the time to walk with us to show us different vehicles and answer all our questions. Not once was there any pressure from him to make a decision to buy. So I guess what I would say to you is if you go to Susanville Ford you should probably ask to see Pat hes a great guy to work with. [Susanville Ford has a great selection of vehicles and a service department you can count on.] 😎
This is the 4th vechicle my husband and I purchased from Susanville Auto Center. I can’t imagine going anywhere else. They took fantastic care of us and even stayed late to finish up all the details. So glad we have a great business right here in our little town. Keep up the good work!
Have always been able to get what I have wanted or needed if its a beautiful new car or service.
Chris pat lori pam mike Shane did outstanding...great experience....buy all our trucks there....
They did nothing for us. We would have had to wait a week for them to check our battery! We were without any transportation. We had our car towed to Reno. It was fixed immediately there.
Met promptly. Offered coffee. Arrived at 0800 and was directed to the lounge??? That was a different story. The lounge was messy, no coffee old pop corn in an unclean machine. The service personnel were perfect and had my truck ready at 0900. They really need to present a little more pride in the sales area lounge where customers whether they are waiting on a vehicle or purchasing a NEW car.
Service dept is awsome. nice, warm welcoming, eager to help you out
The service department always does my oil change and truly make my experience a please t one.
Truck is wonderful to drive. Everything works great. However the mpg is not good. On a 5,000 mile trip my average was 16.6 under just about all conditions possible except towing. I am expecting the towing mileage to be terrible.
Was very fast and easy. No hassling or nagging. All staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you guys!!
Susanville Ford gets my review of Corning Ford because the Service Director from Corning manages this location as well. One star only due to the fact that 0 is not an option.Avoid Corning Ford and all affiliates at all costs! They are not equipped to operate as a Service Dealer. They will leave you truck outside in the rain with your air conditioning and transmission cooler lines uncovered. They will pile your engine parts inside of your cab and then wonder why your upset. Removal of your engine and leave it on a used tire. No problem here. Then when you ask for upper management they will refuse. They will find damage to your air conditioning and then reassemble it without making repairs. I guess they assume that most people will not know the difference. Ask the manager Bill Neaton, this is acceptable because your hood was shut wasnt it? These are among many of the standard operating procedures at this dealerLet everyone you know to avoid this dealership or should I say lack of dealership. I manage a Service Department and I can say that this is by far the worst Service Department I have ever seen.If you proceed to do business here after reading this you are asking for any problems that may arise from your visit. My offer still stands to assist them in removal of the Ford sign they do not deserve.
The staff at Susanville Ford was amazing. My salesman Kelly Quinn was amazing. I would recommend Susanville Ford to anyone looking for an amazing buying experience!!!
Susanville Motors was very helpful and a pleasure to do business with. Negotiations were straight forward and up front. I would recommend them to others.
Service is no good. We stopped when passing thru with a problem with a u-joint, and they said they cant be bothered.
This dealership has been unable to fix the loud noise coming from the 460 engine in my F250 pickup. They once supposedly replaced a cracked manifold, with no improvement in the racket my truck makes.•It is a story you hear now and again, that when a company is bought out, people are fired by the new owner for no reason. Susanville Ford has been doing this. Previously we had been taking our Ford vehicles to Susanville Ford for LOFs and some serious repair work. But no more. Susanville is a tough place to do business. It would seem that a good and friendly work ethic would be a good thing to maintain when you move in and take over a business in a place like Susanville.
One of my NEW windshield wipers (emergency purchase from an auto supply store) broke. I was on my way out of town - stopped in to get a new set. Done and done! So good to me. Thank you!
Great service, Friendly people and seem to be about taking care of the customer.
My daughter was lied to by the older sales man about the price of her car and what the car came with when she bought it
I was so impressed with the professionalism of the service staff for our first service on my daughters new Ford Escape. It was so refreshing!
Great place to shop for a vehicleReally awesome staff. Have bought a few vehicles from them.
My check engine light came on and had to stop somewhere to get it checked since I had another 7 hours of driving ahead. Because of the ratings I read, I opted to go here instead of the other options and I’m glad I did. All of the staff were really helpful. Even though they were booked with already scheduled jobs, they squeezed my emergency in. When all was said and done, the final price was less than the quoted price which was a relief. Also it was nice that the sales staff weren’t pushy while I was waiting for my car (Toyota) was being fixed which was a night and day difference from my experience while living in Las Vegas- these guys here in Susanville are not like the vultures there in Vegas. Of course they casually asked if I was interested, but respected my “no thank you” while maintaining a very pleasant demeanor. The service team kept me apprised if my car updates at every opportunity and recommended a place to stay overnight (i.e. Red Lion of Susanville) and a place to eat (i.e. Young Sing Chinese food) all great suggestions for someone new to town.
Awesome experience. Fair pricing
Im proud to say that I found everything I was looking for at Susanville Ford. My sales rep Matthew Baisley worked endlessly until he found a deal that was right for me. Never at any time did I feel any pressure whatsoever hats off to the entire staff at Susanville Ford.
This is a great place to buy a car. They are accommodating and strive to keep the customer happy.
I can say that buying my new truck from Susanville Ford was a complete pleasure.I havent delt with the service department yet. If my front of house experience is an indication, they have a customer for life.
Love the service and people at Susanville Ford, I dont take my Mariner anywhere else
Service dept. had called to tell me that the part to repair a seat latch had arrived. Brought the car in for service - eight hours later they said they had to access the problem and order the part. WHAT! You called me to tell me the part was in and eight hours to access?! Brought the car back the following month at 8am. I went back at 4pm and they had not even started the repair! They have lost my business.
Your are happy you are taken care of & leave with a great vehicle!
Service personnel were professional and Susanville Ford preformed the service work in a timely matter.
Their work is incomplete if done at all. Can not be trusted. But they have no problem charging you for the incomplete work.
I had a very good experience purchasing my new Jeep. Sales man and financial personnel were very good and patient with all my questions.
They sold me a Jeep with a bent frame. That’s just horrible.
Excellent service my service representative is great. She is friendly and professional.
Friendly and fast service. This is my go to place whenever I need service on any of my vehicles!
Prompt service. Lori went out of her way to make this a fast and pleasant experience.
Smog test on my Dodge. They got it done quickly. Friendly staff.
The service writer did not return any of my phone calls. She gave no indication of how long the repair would take. She even asked me if I would like to wait, the repair took 4 days. The 2cd time I spoke with her in person I very specifically and very firmly told her I expected a phone call by 2 pm for an update on my vehicle. This did not happen. I had to call the service manager myself. When I arrived to pick up my truck the bill was $400 more than the original estimate, I had not authorized this huge increase in my bill. Very unhappy
Great buying experience, very little haggle - Super quick and love our new truck!
Bought a 2017 F2-50 XLT they had to pick it up in Southern California when we got it the truck didn’t have the remote start like it was supposed to the manager Chris made it right and took care of it they gave me a really good price for my trade-in also good job Susanville ford
Like any dealership 80 dollar upcharge on part and way to much for the labor. More disappointed in Chrylser has it was a safety issue with an airbag sensor. Jeep was 5000 miles out of warranty and they would not help with it at all knowing that many of these have failed in other vehicles.
Went to the Ford dealership upon referral from a friend to see about a CA smog certification for a new out of state vehicle.I inquired about this service and yes they do smog check, however I wont be getting one done there.Attendant at the front door was more bothered that I had interrupted whatever the hell he was doing on his phone than cared about potential business. Also, when he failed utterly to respond directly to the customer it is seen as rude. His holier-than-thou attitude did not help much either. Not my fault you work weekends, your snap-chat or twitter account can wait, you are there to be professional. You represent Ford as a company. Not dealing with this place in Susanville, advising the people I know to take their business elsewhere.Dont like the post? Fix your employees.
Great people to work with would recommend them to anyone!
Talk to Shane Barnes, hes a good fella and worked with me when others wouldnt, got me a great deal on a perfect car, couldnt be happier.
Very good place to have work done on your truck. Had oil changed and got free truck wash.
Good selection of cars and trucks
I bought a 2012 ford focus from these guys. Did you know they have a failing transmission, failing power steering, the car will just shut off on you on the freeway and has a safety recall for some latch I cant remeber which one. Well they were able to pawn this POS car off on my 90ish old great grandma whom was buying it for us as a gift. Well now the car has been in the shop 3 times in 30 days for the transmission and they love the as is statement especially when they told me it had been in their shop 2 times within just a couple of months. Literally fixed it twice bought the car and sold it to us and broke down 3 more times all in a 12 month period. Never buying a ford again, afraid they will just be full of recalls and they will sell it to you anyway and you have to find out later or google all recalls on all their cars before you buy.
The experience was wonderful our salesman was Shane and he went above and beyond the call of duty to get us into a vehicle. Thank you
Disappointed in the way they resolve their own mistakes. Will not be using them or referring them to anyone.
Engin light on . Took it to ford for fix and smog. Great service . Very professional.
Took my 2014 Jeep Rubicon unlimited with 19k miles on it, for a check engine light and a front drive line seal leaking. made an appointment for a Monday. was not looked at, service girl said didnt have time to look at the check engine light. Also was also told drive line would not be covered because of a lift kit? So I ask, the vehicles they sale brand new with a lift must not be under warranty, service girl could not answer that question. So I bought the parts on line form MO par and fixed it myself.. I will not every go back to the service department,, I have 3 newer jeeps and a 1 ton ram diesel, will look else where in Reno for new dealership.ThanksG. Tisdale
Great place to get a car or truck.
Great place if your in susanville
Service dept took care of my poor broken truck, I am confident in their quality and appreciate the personnel updates throughout the day (thanks Loree).
Pat Lundsford Is The One To Talk Too For Your Next Vehicle Purchase, You Can Trust Him!
🤩professional friendly staff.
I made a disappointing experience with this Ford Service. I went there with a knocking engine noise and their response was to either replace the engine or trade in the car. They were not willing to look at the problem any closer.
Great quality vehicles from quality people.
Great place
Friendly and on top of customer service. 3 time customers
Always a good place to do business.
Susanville Ford replaced both of the air bags in my 06 Ranger. I havent had to use them yet, but my truck was given back to me in the same shape I gave it to them. Very friendly staff.
