Did we get lucky or were we in extremely good hands? I’d say both! Keith & Juan took exceptionally good care of our truck in far less time (and cost) than we expected. As a detail-oriented team, they quickly fixed some easy to overlook safety issues that were beyond the scope of our initial issue. I highly recommend Susanville Transmission to anyone needing overall car repairs, beyond transmission issues.

Very happy with Keith/Juan and the quality work they did on my vehicles transmission. He was able to fix the issue in a timely manner (no reverse requiring a transmission teardown/overhaul) with great communication explaining the problem and my options for repairing it. Was more than happy to show what went wrong and how to avoid it happening in the future. Thank you, will be back for future work.

Keith and Juan are great. We broke down at 430 on a Friday. Broke a driveshaft that could not be repaired. These guys stayed late and fixed our front shafts on the dodge. We were able to get home safe using the 4wd. Awesome service. Highly recommend this shop.

Great people got it done fast

Keith and Juan are lifesavers. I was on a road trip with some friends and my trucks differential was howling louder and louder. We limped to Susanville and got recommended to go to Susanville Transmission. Keith saw me almost immediately, then immediately diagnosed the problem and overnighted the necessary parts. All of this was happening on a Friday afternoon. The man, the myth and the legend Juan cancelled some of his plans to come work on Saturday morning so we could continue on our trip. I cant recommend them enough. 6/5 Stars. Go to them. They know exactly what theyre doing and they do it right.

Keith, Juan, and crew are the best. Very knowledgeable and great to work with. I came in on a Monday morning with a failing transmission, without an appointment. They got right on it and I was able tocontinue my trip with a rebuil t transmission early Wednesday morning, plus some other work that had to be done.

Waited a year to review Susanville Transmission. Our transmission went out coming out of Red Bluff last August, made it to chester and were given Susanville Transmission name and were told Keith and his shop did great Work. We contacted Keith and told him we were in 2003 F350 diesel pulling 5th wheel, he knew exactly what might of happened, he was spot on .Keith took time to explain the work to be done, set us up with rental car company. Work was done in 4 days Remanufactured tranmission. Transmission has done great as weve continued rving. Thank you Keith and crew at Susanville Transmission. Would definitely recommend.

Kieth is a very knowledgeable man. I have had bad experiences with mechanics in the past and am very lucky to have a mechanic like Kieth here locally. He is by far the best mechanic here in Susanville.

Fast quality service!!!

We were on our way from Oregon to Arizona when a rather alarming noise began from the rear axle. We got an unplanned motel room and the following morning we began looking for a shop to take it to.Long story short, we chose Susanville Transmission. Keith diagnosed the problem as a bad pinion bearing and, since we were on a tight schedule and couldnt wait for it to be fixed, we rented a car and continued our trip, leaving our 2005 Sport Trac in his care.When we returned a week later he had our truck ready to go and had done the work at a good price. I was impressed at how much quieter the ride was on the way back home in Oregon.Keith was very friendly and understanding of our situation, and I highly recommend Susanville Transmission. Very good work!

Great service

We looked far and wide for someone to do an engine swap in our Toyota Land Cruiser. Keith not only was willing to take on the project, but he did a fantastic job. He is reliable, very trustworthy and extremely knowledgeable. We have had him work on all of our vehicles over the past several years, and he has always done right by us. He goes above and beyond the call of duty. His rates are always reasonable too. We live quite a distance from Susanville, so it is not always convenient for us to bring a broken down vehicle to him, but feel it is worth it to travel for Keiths quality service. We trust him implicitly and are very satisfied customers. I have recommended several friends to Keith and they have always reported positive experiences. It is sometimes hard to find someone who is honest in the automotive industry, and we are thankful to have have found Susanville Transmission!

Great service quick turn around

Blew my transmission on hwy70 near Belden town labor day weekend and had my f250 superduty towed 90 miles up to susanville transmission. The owner Keith knew exactly what to do and got me back on the road in just a couple days. This shop is the ONLY place Ill ever have another transmission built. The knowledge of the owner far surpassed my expectations. I wouldnt hesitate to have him work on anything. Thx again!
